While this very well may be true, if youre into this stuff, highly recommend you check out "The Primals". They're a band started by FF XIV/XVI Composer Masayoshi Soken and XVI/XVI Localization lead Michael-Christopher Koji Fox. They play music from FF XIV in a similar mode of rock/metal variants and sometikes even do the tracks used in game. If you like Black Mages, might also be up your alley.
@@VorAbaddon I'm aware of the primals, there awesome, big fan of them too. still like the originals better. it's like trying to compare heath ledgers joker to caesar romero, there both awesome in their own way, i just lean toward caesar romero more.

The bass fill just before the Synth solo starts to kick it all off.
