Technically they're better voices than the 64 but the hokeyness/cartoonish vibes the voices of the 64 version have (and the character's cameo in Starlink: Battle for Atlas) plays better for the zaney setting. A setting with talking animals in space is better being hokey/cartoony than risking taking itself too seriously.
Or they could crossover with Metroid i mean yes they have smash bros ultimate but both of them deserve a game and they both take place in space so it could work
It would be nice, but after what they did to him in Star Fox Zero and Starlink: Battle for Atlas, I don't trust Nintendo to characterize him properly. But a somewhat more hard-core open world "space simcade" game staring Wolf and his wingmen as the main characters would be neat.

Andrew should've just stayed, poor guy ends up becoming an irrelevant boss in the next game but if he stuck with Star Wolf he could've a more notable role and Slippy would still have a rival. They could've been trashy pilots together.
I would’ve loved if Andrew stayed in Star Wolf. Unlike Pigma, he isn’t a complete scumbag and does have a heart. He was only bad due to Andross’ horrible influence and was just trying to please his horrible uncle.

He is, probably because Wolf's the only person who even remotely tolerates him (and probably only for his skills as a pilot) and Leon has literally nowhere else to go. Leon's supposed to be cruel, sadistic and a sociopath to an extreme, the kind of guy who even other hardened criminals don't typically want to associate with. He's lucky that Wolf lets him stick around, and probably repays with loyalty out of both respect and self-preservation. That being said, Panther's pretty high up there too when it comes to loyalty (at least compared to the three former members), but he's also an idiot, especially when in close proximity to a member of the opposite sex. As for the three former members... Algy... might as well just not exist. Everything we know about him comes from a few quotes from Star Fox 2, and they're very generic. Andrew is heavily hinted at being an attaché assigned to the Star Wolf team to keep them in check by Andross himself, and his loyalties are to Andross and the Venomian military, not to the Star Wolf team. Pigma's a greedy pig who was always only in it for the money. It's telling that he was originally a member of Star Fox before betraying James and Peppy, then basically attached himself like a leech to whoever would take him in. It's fitting his greed eventually did him in. Fun fact: Pigma's actually the only canonically surviving Aparoid after Star Fox Assault, showing up as a sort of puzzle box boss in some routes of Star Fox Command.

I feel like it’s so easy to make a good story (or at least have great banter) is a brand new SF game. Especially if they used a cast like this. And maybe have you team up with Star Wolf for the first time for a cool mission
I mostly agree, however I also disagree. I agree because the original voice was stuffy, high-and-mighty and confident. I disagree because the new voice contains insanity, has the sound you'd expect from a reptile and also swapped positions with Wolf as having the best voice on the team.
