King Dedede is one of the easiest Final Bosses and even with the upgrades the Kirby developers give him he's still not a final boss and then he teamed up with Kirby and his friends

All these people in the comments acting like Kirby's path has been some dramatic crescendo from small time to savior of the universe... You know it zigzags, right? Sometimes Kirby has punch-ups with Dedede, sometimes he destroys eldritch abominations threatening the very fabric of reality. The first time he fought King Dedede was 1992, the first time he fought incomprehensible horror was 1993. The last time he fought King Dedede was 2017. The last time he saved the universe was 2018. Twenty five years of fighting for the fate of the universe... AND twenty five years of shooting stars at the angry penguin. Kirby just does whatever lands in his lap that day with the same smile on his face. It doesn't always have to get bigger.
And then, there's times where "Villains" like Yin-Yarn are a complete joke compared to all the twisted picasso-looking villains that threatens the fate of the world too Serious, but not really

Old Kirby bosses: "Naughty dark ball of darkness needs to be spanked until it learns its lesson" New Kirby bosses: "Ultra Zombie Satan has broken free from the Double Secret Hell Dimension of Madness and only Kirby and his new super cybernetic Star Armor can blast it back to where it came from, then rip out its soul and disintegrate it"
Old kirby bosses: Die and almost never come back, with the exceptions of Dedede and Dark Matter. New Kirby bosses: sidekick turns good and helps kirby defeat them. Return in later games.

People describe Dedede as a joke but he's the only other Kirby final boss besides Dark Matter to consistently fight Kirby. You gotta respect him for that.

You can also find this in his Puzzle game, Meteos, where almost every playable character has a single eye as well as the main antagonist. And in Smash Ultimate, Darkhon itself has a single eye. He keeps sticking these cycloptic enemies into his games where we least expect them.

Actually Sectonia is a spider (like Taranza) that transformed into a wasp-like creature during the course of approximately 1000 years by being exposed to the Dimentional Mirror. This also gave her enough power to try to eat a whole planet by the time she is defeated.

The God of Death is actually Necrodeus (as his name implies) and he is the main antagonist of a spin-off because killing off stars and all life around them is not something good enough to be a mainline Kirby villain.
Fans alway say that kirby is not a kids game. I'd say it embodies what a kids game teaches that friendship, love and happiness can defeat anything and kirby teaches that idea without being so preachy about it.
Silent Protagonist Kirby was split into 10 weaker versions of himself & almost all them died because Necrodeus (the antagonist & the guy who split Kirby) killed them. The last survived because Kirby’s heart is what led him to safety.
Man, Kirby has come a long way in his life, even when he is young. He first fought an evil penguin and recently a big dark lord that can shape-shift. Wow. Kirby has fought a lot of powerful bad guys and saved the universe many times.
I actually have a theory about why Dedede stole all of the food. You know how Spring Breeze in Kirby Super Star was a remake of Dream Land 1? My theory was that he took the food so that Dynablade wouldn't steal it in the next part of Super Star.

I love how before the Yarn battle Kirby's is serious, then immediately after the Yin Yarn battle starts Kirby smiles. And during the Yin Yarn battle, intense music plays while Kirby happily yells while fighting. And then after the Yin Yarn battle Kirby and Prince Fluff goes to the two drumsticks while smiling then yeets them off-screen, then smiling again after. Then Kirby says bye. What an absolute savage.
Has anyone else played Kirby Canvas Curse and thought Drawcia was a fucking fantastic final boss? I almost shit my pants at her final form. It was one hell of a good fight, especially for the graphics.

Somebody suspect that Kirby come from the same race as dark matter but was growing in care and love (who knows if dark matter can be good just like Gooye), while Void was grown without love and care, which still has the ability to control/befriend others like dark matter/kirby( note that your allies can get controlled by it, also throwing a pink heart to it will damage it)

In my opinion, Kirby has the best final bosses Nintendo has ever made... most of the time. I mean stuff like Magolor, Queen Sectonia, and Star Dream are way better than fighting Ganondorf or Bowser for the umpteenth time.

FYI, Sakurai wasn't even responsible for any of the eyeball final bosses. Shinichi Shimomura was the one who started the trend with the Dark Matter Trilogy (dreamland 2, dreamland 3 and kirby 64) and Shinya Kumazaki, the current director of kirby games carried it over into alot of his own games. Sakurai only directed dreamland, Adventure and Super Star (And airride but thats a spin off)
Kirby has fought: fat penguin, litteral essence of nightmares, darkness, more darkness, king of darkness, more kings of darkness, a yarn dude, a powerful bug queen taking over a huge flower, a super computer that wants to destroy everything, a regular dude that wished for huge power, a penguin again, a void god of destruction with the power of dark matter, Two paint gods, another regular dude who got a lot of power, a star dark matter. Dang Kirby powerful.
Remember, Kirby is actually just 8 inches tall, imagine him encountering a boss that is about the size of a normal human, that would actually be humongous to him, and he would still win…
0:10 so, are we not gonna talk about how hard king Dedede has to fall for the music to be SO quiet comparing to his fall? like, one second, your enjoying the music, fighting king, and then *crash*
You got to remember people. Kirby killing gods/demons is basically what Kirby does for his job. But you also got to remember, he’s a baby, planet buster, and is only 8 inches tall.
I really have to say that before King Dedede who is an ally and rival of Kirby there are many dark, vile, evil, ruthless, terrifying, and powerful gods that are a lot worse than King Dedede in a fun, light-hearted sugarbowl franchise with continuous lore.

He keeps sticking these cycloptic enemies into his games where we least expect them.

The God of Death is actually Necrodeus (as his name implies) and he is the main antagonist of a spin-off because killing off stars and all life around them is not something good enough to be a mainline Kirby villain.

In my opinion, Kirby has the best final bosses Nintendo has ever made... most of the time. I mean stuff like Magolor, Queen Sectonia, and Star Dream are way better than fighting Ganondorf or Bowser for the umpteenth time.

FYI, Sakurai wasn't even responsible for any of the eyeball final bosses. Shinichi Shimomura was the one who started the trend with the Dark Matter Trilogy (dreamland 2, dreamland 3 and kirby 64) and Shinya Kumazaki, the current director of kirby games carried it over into alot of his own games. Sakurai only directed dreamland, Adventure and Super Star (And airride but thats a spin off)
don't know why but each time King Dedede fell on the floor in the first came I cracked up (and the music was interrupted with a loud bang sound).
Kirby has fought: fat penguin, litteral essence of nightmares, darkness, more darkness, king of darkness, more kings of darkness, a yarn dude, a powerful bug queen taking over a huge flower, a super computer that wants to destroy everything, a regular dude that wished for huge power, a penguin again, a void god of destruction with the power of dark matter, Two paint gods, another regular dude who got a lot of power, a star dark matter. Dang Kirby powerful.

It's funny how each boss slowly became more eldritch-like in comparison to the last.
What I love about many of these final battles is that they let Kirby finish off with a bang.

I really have to say that before King Dedede who is an ally and rival of Kirby there are many dark, vile, evil, ruthless, terrifying, and powerful gods that are a lot worse than King Dedede in a fun, light-hearted sugarbowl franchise with continuous lore.
