Statfox Command has an ending like that. They even had a son and the son reformed the Starfox team with Falco, Peppy's daughter, and one of Slippy's kids.
Star Fox Assault was better than Zero! I remember playing Star Fox Adventures and when this came out it blew my mind haha especially when i saw Tricky all grown up!
This one had to be the darkest Starfox in the series. Parasitic lifeforms from times gone past, use of traumatic experience from said days in Peppy's mind, let alone the queen using Fox's dead father as bait.
While nowhere near as iconic as the final fight with Andross in Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars, I still really like the final boss in this game, mainly because Fox doesn't have to fight it alone and it actually makes it feel like a true team effort! I'm hoping we'll see some more stuff like that in Star Fox Zero!
This game’s multiplayer was crazy good, both in terms of dogfights and ground combat. If it had come out when online play was already popular, we’d probably still be playing this game.
Even when Andrew goes down, he always pulls out the classic 64 style "Uncle Andross" voiceline, I'm not saying the voice is the same but the diologue is the same words

Take away the music and it’s not really a boss, just another mission. The “boss” music really just serves to accentuate the gravity of the situation, not backdrop a face off in this scenario. Look at the missiles and compare that to every other boss encounter. Take away their BGM and you can still see “boss battle” in the scenario. Missiles is just a mission that needed a bgm to convey urgency and high stakes, instead of making another track, the basic boss music did that. Epic music does not a boss make in this case.

If my gamecube could log hours i may have had 3 or 4 thousand hours of me just replaying storymode. God the aparoids are a masterclass in writing
I think what we (at least I did), underappreciated about this game, is that it didn't copy the typical boss fights from 64, sure there were few similarities, but the story and direction was so unique.
0:41 I almost asked how Falco knew about how the Andross boss looked, but then I remembered Adventures
He must have seen Fox fighting Andross before they saw him. (After all, birds can see further than monkeys and foxes.)
If this got a remaster with online multiplayer, it would be incredible
Pigma: You’re fools, get smart and surren-
Falco: NOW FOX FIRE THAT PROGRAM IN THERE!
It’s funny how in this game, the characters interrupt. Assault is better than Adventures
Fox: (firing the self-destruct program) Open wide and say AAAAAAAAAAAH!

This game has so many unlockables and every one of them is great from jet packs to the death sniper I enjoyed every bit
I really don't understand why there are a bunch of people who don't like this game, the only reason I always hear is they didn't like the on-foot levels. I thought they were great! I always hear people don't like how those sections control. It's true that there could have been more Arwing levels but it was still a very cool game.
Imagine if they made a game just like this, but with a level select system like in Starfox 64 or Starfox Zero.
Bro this was so much fun as a kid bro, I miss the hell outta this game. Me and my brother would be on this shit so much. Imo this is the best star fox game.
We need a new Starfox just like this.
Loved how you fought the former members and current members of star wolf in that game
I swear I fucking bawled like a baby when I thought I had to kill General Pepper. );
+Don von Frustratio he doesn't die i thought
+Michael O'Keefe No, but he's out of commission. For the rest of the series.
+DarkLink1996 as in the rest of this game
MrSailing101 And Command... which forced a cosmic reset because they didn't know how to continue from there.
can we admit that command sucks?
When’s Nintendo gonna drop the bombshell called “Krystal Mccloud”?
Normaly after star fox command this Name can speak facts.
Statfox Command has an ending like that. They even had a son and the son reformed the Starfox team with Falco, Peppy's daughter, and one of Slippy's kids.
To be honest, this is actually the first Star Fox game I have ever played; not to mention the only Star Fox game I have so far.
I would love to see a remaster of this game so much
This was, and still is my favorite GameCube game
This was by far my fav star fox game
HeyThereVader I'm the same with you aside the fact it's the only star fox game I played
HeyThereVader wish it was longer was my problem with it, like maybe add at least 5 more levels to it
This game was incredible with an AMAZING amount of features. Best star fox game made.
I loved the voice acting so you can hate all you want
I’m glad you agree
The voices were good. The lines scripted for the actors were weird. I mean, bad voices? Just play Star Fox Adventures
Yeah man stand your ground! Im with ya Camren penn
Everything in that game is still great, but it will be even better if it not were too short
Star Fox Assault was better than Zero!
I remember playing Star Fox Adventures and when this came out it blew my mind haha especially when i saw Tricky all grown up!
1:37 A wild Volcarona appears!
No,, it's more like a venomoth
I think is a Naganadel, whatever, I think both Poipole and Naganadel are based of Aparoids
It's not a pokemon
@@tonygainsanderson8371 it's just a joke stupid
Does it look like a Pokémon to you?
This one had to be the darkest Starfox in the series. Parasitic lifeforms from times gone past, use of traumatic experience from said days in Peppy's mind, let alone the queen using Fox's dead father as bait.
Andrew in Assault is my favourite Star Fox character because of the way he just sucks at being evil!
Also...
UNCLE ANDROSS!
1:20😅
While nowhere near as iconic as the final fight with Andross in Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars, I still really like the final boss in this game, mainly because Fox doesn't have to fight it alone and it actually makes it feel like a true team effort! I'm hoping we'll see some more stuff like that in Star Fox Zero!
Comments that aged poorly
6:27 That was definitly a „f*ck“
This game’s multiplayer was crazy good, both in terms of dogfights and ground combat. If it had come out when online play was already popular, we’d probably still be playing this game.
Sniper rifles on Sargasso were nuts.
This game was good but it needed to be way longer with more levels. It also should have had a co-op story mode.
The longer story yes, but Co op ehhhhhh it would be cool but a bit ahead for the time.
just someone Co-op would have been possible, it had split-screen versus.
I am pretty sure namco was strapped in terms of resources.
This game was criminally underrated and the multiplayer was so good.
I forgot how terrifying a concept the Aparoids were. Geez.
Even when Andrew goes down, he always pulls out the classic 64 style "Uncle Andross" voiceline, I'm not saying the voice is the same but the diologue is the same words
"SUCK IT, SKYWALKER! YOU CAN'T DO THIS SHIT IN YOUR X-WING!"
-Fawful's Minion, Top Ten Killjoys in Video Games
11:49 "Oof!"
-Falco, 2004
0:43. "What's this? An Andross wanna-be?" LOL.
Ooooooooooh!!! *ROASTED!!!*
W-Watch Your Mouth! I'll Show You!
Este era el camino que debía seguir nintendo para hacer un starfox.
I like how oikonny boss battle is a reference to the Andross's boss battles
I still have this game on disc, good memories with this one!
dude this game was so fucking awesome, I remember playing it on my Gamecube and I was so engaged with the story, yeah playing it now it was short but you gotta give it to a 2005 game to have a storyline and some very engaging character clashes
Also check out my Star Fox Zero boss rush!:) ruclips.net/video/BeLIL2A8Jj8/видео.html
hmm....i think about Fox's Dad what happend with him Do you know?
Emir Maier he was killed by andross I think
Do you know something rude in 6:26?
You don't count Mission 8 - Missiles as bosses?
(They use boss theme as BGM)
Yeah, exactly.
"Dang!"
- Fox McCloud
Loved how he said it 😂
