    I’ve made this type of plait many times in the oven. I’ve used sausage meat, with cranberry. With mushrooms. With some left over chestnuts from Christmas stuffing. And some red onion chutney. Or you can go wild and add them all 🤣🤣
    I’ve now got an air fryer so will give it a go in there but I thought bake setting rather than air fry.
    It looked delicious and sounded so crispy.

    Using a serrated knife to slit the sausage casing; from top to tail, will make their removal much easier. Great vid, going to have a bash at this for tea. Thank you.

    So torn between your machines!
    Could you do some more comparisons please.
    had my heart set on the Ninja, but the Cosori seemed to do so much of a better job in this instance.

    Hi Kerry. Love stuffing in sausage rolls. I wouldn’t put onion in mine but do we just love puff pastry? 😂. I would have mash and baked beans. I think I might have to make some now 😂.

    If you had used the bake setting on the dual blaze you may not of needed to turn as it would cook from underneath as well as from the top

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  Год назад +1

      I always thought the bottom element is used on every function bar broil which just uses the top element 🤔

    • @malcolmframe7183
      @malcolmframe7183 Год назад +1

      Yes but if you use it on bake it heats more than the top one to bake from the bottom up that's what ai undertood and always use when making cakes and the like, though knowing me I could be wrong 😁

    I made this with ingredients from Aldi and it was phenomenal. Then I got complacent and went to Morrisons, the rsult was inedible. Stick to Aldi.

      That's really interesting thank you, we have this a lot with variations, I agree re aldi and lidl (poss use same suppliers just different packaging - I could be wrong mind, aldi irish sausages are not as good as the lidl ones) 😄👍
