    What is the difference between the contrast that pulls up on angler and the enhanced setting for contrast when you set it to custom

    • @HumminbirdHelp
      @HumminbirdHelp  2 года назад

      The newer units and software updates have changed a few of the settings like the contrast. The dynamic contrast is still only available with the custom mode on

    I have the MSI and a MDI 7’s G3N how do I get them in simulator mode so I can set the contrast and sensitivity

    • @HumminbirdHelp

      Easiest way on the 7 is just unplug the transducer cord from the unit and power on

    HI, question. my Helix 7 (2.80 update) MSI Gps g4 new to me by a day, was showing a mirror image on side imaging. I would go from left view to right view to both, and when i hit both, left and right were perfectly identical. rocks, shadows and all was an exact image of the other side, no matter what i tried to adjust to get both sides to view the actual left and right lakebed. any thoughts? udated the software after this happened ( (from 2.60) and have not been out today. thanks, great channel.

    Your running that in mega hertz in 30 ft. Is that clear water only? My lake is green with hard bottom should I run mega or 450khz? I strictly fish for trophy catfish with side scan at 90ft.

    I have a question I currently have a helix 7 gen 3 mega side imaging is ok I paid 650 dollars if I remember last year, my question is if I buy a more expensive fishfinder I'm I gonna get better and more clear down and and side scan? i have the mega but I've heard something about mega plus is mega plus a better picture? thanks.

      Usually the more pixels the screen has the better the picture quality will be. So like me I have a g3n helix 7. It has good picture quality but if I upgrade to a helix 12 the picture quality is going to be waaaay better even with factory settings because of the pixel difference. Just like a TV 1080p has better picture quality than a 720p TV.
