@@mr.3733 yeah, Mugen is a daughter company of Honda and for sure Honda was fully committed in developing that engine. Jordan and BAR became full Honda factory teams after 1999.

Недавно, играя в игре ф1 99-02 с модами с 89 года, дошел и до стандартного 99 года, решил играть за Джордан, чтоб "устранить несправедливость и выиграть чемпионат!", ведь мне с детства нравились эти желтые машинки и общий дух этой команды, что сквозил даже через короткие ролики по ТВ... По итогу- ровно тот же результат, что и в реальной жизни! 3 место! Хах, похоже, что они Реально выжали из машины максимум возможного и лучше врят ли бы получилось! (Правда, у меня Шумахер не отсутствовал пол сезона, как в реальности, т.к. игра такого не позволяет, что то же сыграло свою роль!) Спасибо за ролик!
yeah he was a lap down....when youre a lap down, you are shown blue flags to literally lift off to allow the leader(s) by. This is standard racing stuff, you are obliged to let lead lap cars pass.....the more pertinent question is: why did michael assume that David's car would dissapear? and why did he accelerate into space on the road where the spray was coming from?
I'd love to know what was Jordan's budget that year. Their best year and Frentzen was not far off the drivers championship against Häkkinen and Irvine whose teams probably had much way more budget than Jordan had
I have heard Eddie Jordan saying they never had more then 70 million dollar budget, I don't know if he was referring to 1999. I Think Jordan had about half the budget of McLaren that year... and the Mugen-Honda engines were not free of cost as far as I know.
This video has reminded me just how god awful the commentary was on the '98 season review, it sounds like they got Barry Scott from the Cillit Bang advert to do it!

Jordan was fast in 1999 but they were lucky with the mistakes from Schumacher and Hakkinen :)
Really enjoyed that. Jordan was so underrated but then they did have two excellent drivers in Hill and Frentzen.

The 1999 season was very exciting. Jordan was one of my favorit teams with HHF. Classic F1 content is the best ! Espacally VHS recordings !
