Migraine is literally one of the top 5 *worst* things I have *ever* experienced
*i‘m not kidding*
Agreed, every time I get them I panic. Like really bad. They just suck so bad lol.
yeah I know, I’ve had at least one every day for 4 years
Me too and it's difficult 😢
Mary Villechanoux god I feel so sorry for complaining about it because I haven’t had it often yet but if, it was TERRIBLE.
Helena B yes
"Pain usually goes away with sleep." I WISH
Yes it goes out for me.
I can even tell how it goes.
So first I wake up in the morning with a very small headache. I'm sure that most of people might think (like me) "well, maybe it'll pass away after some time".
By every hour you start to see that your head starts to hurt even more.
It almost stops when you don't move.
At evening you might don't even go to wash your teeth cuz it hurts so bad, that you can even start to cry.
Usually it passes away in the next morning.
Yes, that's my migraine.
if only I could fall asleep with all of that pain
for me it does
in my case, sleep usually goes away with pain 😫
Mine does
you guys should make a "this is puberty in 2 minutes" video
Ooh yes!
Yess
@Monetisation Bot separate videos? "puberty for girls in two minutes" "puberty for boys in two minutes"
You can't. It's not the same for everybody. So it would basically be clickbait if you remembered it years after.
@Monetisation Botseparate videos for each gender
Pain usually goes away with sleep? To me more like: after taking pills and/or shots, vomiting for 12 hours and just basically wanting to die, you crawl into the bed and when you wake up migraine might be gone.... or not.
Right. I am totally unable to sleep when I have migraine I have to take pills and plenty of water and again pills and may be then I might sleep a little and after waking up I feel a relatively light intensity pain at my right side which remind me of what I had suffered yesterday😥
I can't even sleep 😂
i have very very strong migraines, most times i can’t see with one of my eyes because of the area, and my head hurts so bad that I cry and cry and cry, but after like 10 hours of sleep it goes away. (i do take pill obviously) in the next day the only thing is that when I sneeze/cough or move to fast my head hurts for a sec
aurea*

I wish my migraines were 2 minutes
Hahahaha me too😢
Me too!!
Same
Yea
Me to
Migraines are honestly the worst thing to ever go through. Would not wish it on anyone
@Selozar you're lucky
@0 - 0 lucky you. For me they happen so suddenly. They get in the way of all your plans and it’s one of the most stressful things I’ve ever gone through.
worse than periods... and that's saying something
The worst migraines are ones that start while sleeping :(
It's usually to late to take medication upon waking...
yes the 4am mornings where you're frantically trying to find the medication and stay calm so as to not vomit and then you vomit and realise it's all over..
I hate that we all have to go through this but it is comforting to know I’m not alone
same here
Them: "Pain usually goes away with sleep"
Me: "What if the person cant sleep because of pain"
Death seems more suitable and bearable than my migrane attack tbh.
Olivia Kukahiko chill 😂😂
Hello mixer
Sometimes death seems better than the migraine in my head.
@@emmawebster1555 hello fren |-/
Ariana kim frrrr like I had to tell my teacher so she knows I'm not faking so I have it get at least 8 hours of sleep every night
I hate seeing those flashing lights and losing temporarily my vision ... I always have nausea... That's so painful ..and disturbing to have..
hey even I get those flashing lights, just a little before the migraine, it's so frustrating.
I hate it too, same thing happens to me, I get a blurry spot on one side. Almost like a fuzzy tv channel and I get the nausea too. 🤢
Nausea? I actually vomit during migraines 😂
Same!
Ava Hamiłton I always get nausea, and only rarely do I vomit during a migraine
Is it just me that gets a flash of headache every time I laugh, cough, sneeze, jump or generally just when moving my head the 2 days following after a migraine?
Eyrún Jóhannsdóttir yes I get that
Eyrún Jóhannsdóttir yup
even i get that
Its not just you becuase it happens to me too
:(
Yes, It sucks!
Hahaha speaking as someone with chronic headaches/migraines i call this the understatement of the year
Sarah Smith yeah definatly
omg same lol
Can totally agree
Chronic headaches are the ones that keep coming back right?
" the pain usually goes away with sleep "
People with sleep paralysis:
People with insomnia:
Olivia Kukahiko bruh chill
I get sleep paralysis and migraines, so thats nice
If I had a migraine and they told me that it goes away with sleep my anxiety would tell me I wouldn’t wake up so I’d stay up longer
I have all of the above.
I can be a nuisance
Worst thing you can do is get an afternoon sleep while you have a headache.
TRUST ME I'VE DONE THIS you wake up and the pain is basically 10 times worse
Xrhstos Vo Yeah before you sleep you should take some medicine it makes it not as bad when you wake up.
Everyone's experience is different. For me, a 2-3 hour nap makes it a lot better.
For me it’s a tiny bit better
Nah, for me when I wake up I get nauseous because I haven't eaten or drank anything lmfao
Yeap, no kidding, i feel you.
When I partially lost my sight during a migraine I legit thought I'm going blind. Never been so scared in my life before. And nobody knows what triggered it, so it can always happen again.
How you deal with it
Go to a doctor, they will tell you what to avoid, for me it’s either too much sleep or too little
I deal with it by having a painkiller asap and going to sleep
Yup I have this every time, once it was so bad that also my face and limbs started tingling on one side and I couldn't speak properly. Apparently, this is part of the deal. :/ Just make sure that if it doesn't go away within 48 hours after the migraine attack you go see a doctor because something worse might be going on.
I HAVE THIS. I GOT GLASSES FOR IT. ITS A SCAM
There are times I literally slam my head with my fist just to take the throbbing pain away and I would cry and I'd the feel the worse after haha. Gotta love migraine amirite.
Me, I seriously wanted to pull my hair out of my head in pure desperation
"Throbbing pain may be present." Well it is a migraine for a reason 🤔
i sometimes have migraines with just the auras and blind spots
Once in a while I get pain free migraines but they're any not better; no pain usually means I'll experience a hemiplegic migraine.
I have stress induced migraines and they can get pretty bad. I think the worst for me is light sensitivity. If I already have a headache and I go outside it makes it 10 times worse.
I actually get auras without the headache part. But the auras are brutal. The first times I thought I was having a stroke, because I became unable to pronounce/say words.
Sleep helps me when I have a migraine
Don't forget the extreme vertigo!
When I migraine strikes for me it's like I just can NOT win. When I lay down to "sleep" I feel like I'm on a boat. I know I'm laying flat but my head feels like I'm bobbing along down a river.
Omg same!
My mom went to the hospital when she got her first migraine because she genuinely thought she was dying.
Ladybug Alia - we toss the word migraine around like it’s nothing and when we actually have one, the reaction is amplified 😖
i did too! i thought my brain was swelling 😣
Slept with one sided pain but woke up with another side... Migraine ☹️😣😂😂
I get migraines all the time and to help I lie in bed turn off all the lights and open my window, I try to sleep but if I can't I just lie there. This helps me all the time.
If I get migraines, it's probs because of me watching BTS all day everyday lol
You can also get a weird taste during the aura phase. Mine is a metallic kind of taste...
Also: for the migrane victims out there, maybe this will help you. Recently, my doctor changed my medication and gave me neuropath pain meds (gabapentine) in combination with coffee and it really got much better. Maybe you can discuss this with your doctor as well.
DO MORE OF THESE
I wish people would raise more awareness upon migraine with videos like these. Migraine affects my life so much and so many people just dont know how migraine is much more than " just a headache".
As someone who deals with 3 types of migraines and has them on almost a daily basis, I can say that everything in this video is VERY spot on! Although the time frame for me personally is longer, and sleep doesn't help much.
Thank you for making a video about this! 😀 Hopefully it makes it easier for people to understand what migraines really are.
Doctors Best MSM powder . Please try it once you feel the migraine coming on.
Whenever my migraines end I’m STARVING like I haven’t eaten in days
I just came here for the comments 😂
This video is "Oh, so beautiful" Never once has it happened like that in my life and I have a chronic migraine, had brain surgery a few years ago, and have a few more other "fun" things wrong with my health. In reality migraine almost always is worse than it's described in textbooks. It's not a disability, yet it disables people.
‘Fatigue, yawning and food cravings’ like that’s just me on a day to day basis
Wait, migraines are supposed to go away?
Lmao, right?!
I suggest you go see a doctor.....
Chronic migraine sufferer here. I hear you ....
@@trishah2145 I know right??? Without medication i have them everyday
@@trishah2145 Same here. Going through an episode right and it's not fun.
we just love having migraines several times a week
Have you seen a doctor about it?
I’m so happy (and sad at the same time) that people actually experience the amount of pain that I do too when I get a migraine, I was ready to be in the comments like yall have no idea how bad it is but everyone seems to understand
My migraines go like this:
1. Pain behind left or right eye
2. Crying
3. More crying
4. Sleeping for 4-5 hours
5. Feeling fine
Chronic migraine sufferer here! It should say "pain MIGHT go away with sleep, but chances are you'll wake up feeling worse since you're now also dehydrated". Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
Thanks for making this video , honestly . Now everyone can understand what people with migraine go through
Stumbled across this video and I’m so pleased I did. My migraines come exactly in this order. Thank you for sharing - it’s so nice to know I’m not alone!
Having migraines that last weeks at a time this is so accurate
This happened to me yesterday! I had a test today and has mental fog and it was so scary! I thought I was going blind! I also may have missed out on 10 minutes of my 30 minutes on part 1 of my test!
whenever i get migraines i get dizzy and feel sick, they're the worse thing every other than cramps
Actually, I'm in in the beginning of puberty and I have headaches since winter of 2017. This was very helpful because I can know see how everything is the same with most people.
The worst part for me isn’t the pain, (which is horrible, don’t get me wrong) but for some reason before I’m about to get a migraine I lose feeling in my arms/face. The realization that I’m about to have a migraine and that there is nothing I can do now to stop it is probably the worse thing ever.
I love these type of videos
I love these videos! You should make more of these
I just realized that I had a migraine today. This entire day. The whole process. The timing of this video is perfect, thx🙂😑🙏
I've never had a migraine and I see by your comments that I'm a lucky one... Wow, I'm so sorry for everyone who has to go through that :(
Now try living with a migraine disorder WAY WORSE ITS PRACTICALLY 24/7
Can I ask what you’ve tried for medicine? I’ve been on imatrex and propanol but the propanol only works for 2 weeks with each does increase I’m topped out at the max and no relief in sight. It’s hard to understand how your body can torture you with daily migraines but it’s reassuring to see I’m not alone
I have severe complex migraines and let me tell you, the pain does not go away when you sleep!
I'm a teenager and haven't experienced a migraine EVER. literally so grateful. it's a blessing.
youtube recommend it to me, and i had migraine yesterday, i had a headache and it hurts only on my right side head, whenever i move, it gets worse. trust me, this is real.
Just getting over a 3 day migraine...never vomited so much in my life. Sometimes you don't get warnings and it just appears.
I know right. I’m 13 and I get migraines everyday for 5 years. It just started one day and hasn’t left since.
Emma Harrison you should probably see a doctor about that...
Olivia Kukahiko I saw a doctor for mine and they said there’s really only medicine that you can take to make it stop. Sometimes that’s not enough.
movement DEFINITELY makes it worse, and nausea does come on for me
*and i do vomit
I don't *vomit*
This is so on point.
My life. Love you girl. You did great
That’s my friend! Go Lulu ❤️
“Pain usually goes with sleep”
Oh how I wish..
thank u,,,,
i had one just a few days ago and it was so wild. i yawned and cried
Wooo this is perfect all the things happens exactly the way you show but aftar the sleep things may varies person to person
im pretty sure im the only person who can successfully sleep away pain
Nah, I'm there too😂😂
I can but it's a full 24 hours of sleep
nope, thats me too, but it takes forever to actually fall asleep
Yea I have migraines quit often
To all of you that have to put up with migraines, I'm so sorry! I don't know what it's like but I've been with people who have terrible ones 💕
I don’t know about you, but my migraines usually _wake me up_
Me too!!
The only headache my bf gets are migraines, his room and mine are both super dark so no bright light can cause one or make one worse
My migraines is head hurt nausea vomit and I go to sleep and I feel better and even worse it's a family line
“Namaste, the cloud has been lifted” my body: now let’s do it all again in 3 days!
Plz make more of these I love them
Wow accurate except for the seeing shapes and vision loss for me.
Anxiety Brittnie That happens to me when I get up too fast lmao but I’ve never had it with my migraines
@@elizabethg1604 glad it's not just me lol
The vision loss is horrible! It makes me so paranoid. And I wear glasses so whenever there is a smudge on them that looks like it could be vision loss I get so anxious
Anxiety Brittnie except for this one time my left eye started to get really cloudy and almost shaded so I couldn’t see that much but that was before I got a migraine so that was kinda weird...
I saw shapes and had vision loss its like ur on lsd 😭😭 then i googled why do i trip without LSD lmaoooo.btw the half right side of me was numb i almost call the ambulance
I love having migraines at school...
👌🏽
How would you love a migraine wherever you are... I hate them and I wish there was a cure.
Same 😅
No pe.
I have it million time and i hate that so much! 😩
This is actually very accurate.
I needed this!
This entire video was informative, but one HUGE flashing visual and auditory migrane trigger pain intensifier. I may be in the minority, but I'm not the only one who finds flashing lights and high pitched inconsistent sounds to trigger pain. just... What kind of logic went into the design process?
Same feelings here
@@nataliashefer6619 Thanks for the validation! If you personally struggle with migranes (or literally anything in life) I wish you all the best.
I have migraines *ALL THE TIME* and only a few of the symptoms happen to me!
NDL Forever they are migraines. My doctor said that they are migraines.
I had migraines and visual disturbance every day for a few months and I tried loads of medications that didn’t help while I was in school and we don’t know what caused them but it was something in school cause now I’m homeschooled and haven’t had a single migraine since :)
I have migraine problem..so I can highly understand the problems.&relate to the vdo
Found out my birth control was causing my migraines. Switched my birth control and haven’t had a migraine since.
Good for you really. Good for you I can't take them for other reasons and I get them alot
Dude same it gave me hemiplegic migraines
I am glad that you only had migraines and not any of the other serious side effects that birth control can cause♡♡♡
Starting depo has majorly reduced mine honestly, like birth control experimenting might be a good idea for people with migraines.
Whoa. Actually my aunt had symptoms of cancer and we were all terrified untill they did another test and realized it was her freaking birth control that was causing it. Thank god she's totally great now
All of the comments are going to be about the period girl
I love this kind of videos!!!
Please make more of these !!!!!
Yep...my life for the past 23 yrs...BUT mines last 36-48 hours sometimes
Yeah, there are TONS of different kinds of migraines. This is just silly.
1. WHere's period girl at, loved her.
2. WHat about symptoms like numbness on half the body
3. WHy is this unlisted?
If you're having paralysis of half of your face or body, you might be experiencing Cluster Headaches. They're even worse than migraines, but they do have a cure. It's taking oxygen at the outset. Oxygen is really hard to get, so you'll have to have a neurologist officially diagnose you with cluster headaches.
Please do more of these videos!!
Very happy to see NAMASTE 🙏🙏
Is a migraine related to depression? 🤔
Chris Da Artist migraine is a neurological disease in its own right, but yes there are links between migraines and mood disorders
It is. This is how I got diagnosed with the depression, I had non stop migraines which almost left me blind to my right eye. After gazillion of tests, it turned out the migraine is just a side effect of the depression. After I was on the meds for like 6 weeks, the migraines abated. I still get them but not as bad and not as often.
Yes. It is. Migraine comes easily when you are stressed or down
bro, i can try getting rid of a migraine with sleep. it hardly ever works. like, *hardly ever*
migraines are the worst pain i’ve experienced in my life
Jasmyn Wagoner This is what I do,take medicine and drink 2 bottles of water or drink caffeine. Put a cold rag on my head and sleep. When I wake up it’s mostly gone.
my boyfriend has these often and it makes me feel incredibly grateful that i've ever had one.
Wow this pretty much sums it up, I get one at least once a week
Whenever I got a migraine I always feel like im dying 😖😫😷
Omg can you read minds i actually have it right know and i searched for videos to help me 😨🤯😱😩😖
Asma Zainab :(
I LOVE THIS GIRL!
I’VE MISSED THESE
I have migraines since I was 5 years old.And I was hospitalized cause I almost died cause of them. Great
@Hi I'm A Nerd Nice To Meet You Well thats what they told me.Idk much information. The docs were also scared that i might had a syndrom that could make me blind. But thank god it's not.
@Hi I'm A Nerd Nice To Meet You I know ouf-
Did anyone else also felt it coming and triggering with those throbbing sounds?
I'm here watching this video because my fiancé gets this migraine attack every month and I really get worried for him... Actually I don't even know what are the causes and treatment for this kinda headache. But he always assures me that he feels better after a good uninterrupted sleep... Still I wish I could help him out in some way once we are married.
This is so true...
If u have ever experinced migrain... u would never make any video...u can't talk when u have d pain and later on u don't want to talk about it..🤯🤯😅
It's acting.
I legit have a migraine right now so um hello migraine.
Can you go away please?
Tropical_Chloe I was, that was my friend lol I only just saw this comment, she was round my house to help comfort me
Thanks 😊
This video makes me realize that I have been having migraine since I was 12..I have the symptoms of light sensitivity and headaches on one side of the head which get worse by movement.
"Pain usually goes away with sleep."
Or not.
I feel I'm going have a migraine after i saw the geometric shapes, who else feels the same
Me! It starts with this shapes and dark side on your vision and when they're gone, migraine is starting. It awful. I hate it when i have it at school.
I had that happen a couple of times. Sometimes I even see ghost shrimp and crabs. I honestly have no idea what goes on in my brain pre migraine, but at least it's nice before the agonizing pain begins.
Literally the story of my life😩
i love these videos
