For boys this is just a 2 minute video, but for girls it's their whole life
@harmonized_ jauregui12 Wdym most, boys don't get periods
@@youdontneedtoask1173 Wait r u fr? I didn't know that. I thought all of them had it but like the intensity wasn't the same for everyone

Hhahhaha yea
In the morning after waking up is just the worst. Like you roll out of bed and you can literally feel it. Yuck
Yes.. especially in the morn 😭
This is so true 😂
So as a guy, the fact that this ain't like a once a year thing is insane to me. Like this happens every month holy crap y'all putting up with this 😭😭😭 y'all deserve better
yeah we got the bad side of mother nature, don’t ever take being a guy for granted 🤧
Reasons why god is sexist and men are the favored ones.
It's actually not that bad..once you get used to it. some women are different than others and période time varies. some women usually go for around 3-7 days, and others 7-10 days. It's really not as bad as it seemed, but still, pretty bad.
It’s total BS 😤 Just part of the curse of being female far as I’m concerned.
@@SambochaIt’s only “bad” because our society doesn’t make much room for it or prioritize rest and health.
I like how this explains the entire cycle and not the bleeding part of a period. I never learned any of this in school, they only said "you bleed, you hurt, and your technically capable of creating a child even though you are a child yourself"
I learned the same thing too. Sucks that we aren't taught properly ://
Yes it's so much more important stuff to know than most people say. And didn't even tell me the bleeding and hurting part, just the part about fertilization which had zero relevance for me lol
Describing the entire student body of high schoolers as “children” is just a legal technicality. They’re a lot more like adults than children. By junior year, many of them are driving, working a part time job, studying just as hard as college students, etc. And of of course, biologically able to reproduce.
If all the adults suddenly died off, these people would instantly see they aren’t actually children.
I know right, and then they teach the boys so much lol.
I'm 36 and this helps me understand me more so much. As I age PMS gets worst. I feel like I'm going crazy at times, heaven's! At times I pretty sure I am. Thenn. Period comes and I'm saying thank God I thought I was losing it.. 1-2 weeks out the month I feel normal and the rest seems like a physical mental and spiritual volcano going on inside me..

Every man who is in a relationship with a woman should watch this video to have a better understanding about how she can feel and go thought. When I openly talk about it with my GF, she felt very warmed about my intention to know better the whole cycle and how I could help her or at least have more empathy.
Sympathy* not empathy.
Empathy would be if you go through it yourself lol
@@gazzy9136 it's the opposite actually. empathy means understanding the other person feelings and sympathie means feeling it.
@@wxyzmarkus6834 it's the other way around
@@wxyzmarkus6834 Nope. Sympathy means feeling pity for what someone else is going through; empathy means imagining the feelings they're experiencing.
Neither one means literally experiencing what they are feeling. That would be psychic.
You are more accurate than me with your words because english isnt my first language but we meant the same thhing even thought the words I used might have had another meaning.@@GoldenPantaloons
Sorry for all you go through, ladies, that us men just take for granted. Add to that pregnancy, giving birth, taking care of the babies, dealing with abusive men… God bless you all. People should be more considerate of women’s emotions and the hormonal changes they have to go through constantly.
Thank you 😊

I'm ashamed to admit that as a 23 year old woman, this video has taught me a lot about myself ❤
you shouldn't be ashamed! It's not like we get taught these things in school. It's a good thing to learn about yourself.
@mary omg nothing to be ashamed of boo! I really love that they had put this together of us women!!!
I'm glad my science teacher played this in class
Realizing you need more knowledge and that we're all massively ignorant is the smartest thing you can do. Ask questions and don't be ashamed of knowing that you don't know.
dont be ashamed you were intentionally under-educated!
The worst part is depression and anxiety at the same time but realizing its just all about my period gives me relief because i know it will pass 😂
Yes! 😂
Amen sister!

girls who get absolutely no cramps, no pain, only bleeding, AND their period is 2-3 days, are god's favourite human beings and will one day change the world somehow
@Rachel Chay Loong if it's your first period, the pain won't kick in yet in the first time. if it isn't, you are one of god's favourite human beings cuz the pain is terrible ✨
@Rachel Chay Loong and btw, it's normal not to get pain on your period, it's just not as common as getting terrible pain

The woman who gave this demonstration is amazing. Such a varied range of expressions over two minutes. Well done!
I was literally looking for this comment 😭😂
I thought the same thing!
What I really notice is before it starts you are more prone to feel depressed and sad. And then during it and after your period ends your optimism increases. It's so strange but out of all the things shown in this video I feel this one the most. Also, I don't know if it's just me but since I'm single there is a period of time when I feel way more needy and affectionate and I really wish I had a man by my side but then during the rest of the time I don't feel these things and I'm fine with being single and not receiving affection lol. It happens every month so I think it has something to do with the cycle too.
exactly. That depressed feeling before it starts hits me the most.
I think that has to be a feeling you experience around ovulation day, since you have more drive around that time and your body wants you to become pregnant, so hormones make you want to desire a partner and therefore leading to pregnancy....not too sure though
i relate to this so much. i’m currently on these days before it starts and i feel so down and sad and tired for no reason, although i was at my peak happiness the week before and i’m generally a cheerful person. it comforts me to know i’ll feel better soon but it’s just a pain
Definitely to do with your cycle and hormonal changes.
Same with wanting someone!!
to those who’s period hasn’t arrived yet: enjoy your time whilst it lasts.

honestly that sounds perfect
I wish too😞
KK Girl I wish it lasted 0.01 seconds. or even better, 0 seconds.
I never get emotional before my period starts. So it's even more annoying when people act childish like "Oh, must be the time of the month again?" as if a woman is not allowed to act or react a certain way throughout the whole month.
I hate those period commercials where the woman is like “come on sisters, let’s do this!” And she’s going skydiving, fighting off 50 karate kids, rock climbing, being a soldier on the frontline, etc. and I’m like, Let’s NOT! I just wanna curl up in my bed and CRY!😭😂
I wish we were able to hold periods in and then let it ALL out on the toilet, quick, painless and probably quite satisfying. No pads, no cramps, no stains. That would be heaven.
😭😭😭
Or like any other mammal...
The bleeding is not because they want to get rid of the blood, but because small blood vessels rupture when they build up the birthing butter.
Only humans and apes bleed differently🤷🏽♀️
@@huhnchen_4603 i don't understand... would you pls explain...
@@afthabhameed5041 English is not my first language so its kinda hard for me to explain but I will try it...
Cats, for example. Cats have their menstruation because blood vessels tear during the construction of the uterus. When they have had their ovulation and have not become pregnant, they break down the mucous membrane and are "reused". Humans and monkeys have more mucosa (would take too long to explain). We can't just break it down, so it has to come out of the body.
Cats can simply lick up the little blood. If humans had the same system as in other animals, it would not bleed so much, we would have less pain, etc.
wot if we just didn’t have it at all? wouldn’t that be great

We women are so uneducated on our bodies bc everyone just chooses to ignore the subject, but we need to fight through and learn about ourselves and increase our health for the better. And again huge thank you for this short and informational video. The actor did an amazing job, so did the rest of you.
I love the way she portrays our periods, though at certain times it's rough, there's beauty and wisdom in knowing how to manage, plus, this lady is beautiful.
Yes. Me too. She is a beautiful woman
"Day 1-2, good time for exercise gently." does rolling around in pain counts as exercise?

Sometimes i can't even stand or make a small move because of the pain 😫
I remember watching this around a year before I got my period and I was so freaking scared and not ready but the only time that I feel those symptoms now are when I’m PMSing or on my period. I also recently got diagnosed with PCOS and I wish they showed this kind of stuff in schools
I love this video. It was my first clue what impact my cycle and my hormones have on my daily life. I always come back to it and check where I am and what comes next to be prepared and a little bit more easy on me, when I have a hard time
Yeah, I love it too. It is interesting
So we’re getting punished for not being pregnant…
btw this comment is a joke (somewhat)
Basically
•Invyyy Ariänä• we’re basically baby makers machines for our uterus or wtf ? lmAo
Catarina Marques That's right, for nature we are machines for making babies, because immediately after menopause, we begin to age quickly, because without the possibility of reproduction, nature no longer needs us
But I didn’t want to get baby’s-
Eh, I'll just get a hysterectomy. I don't want children at all
