Bekah Wilkerson my mom had a kidney failure because of me and a c section. The doctors thought she had the flu for about 6 months and she finally gave up and went to a different hospital. She was about to die because the infection was about to spread in her blood. So long story short I almost killed my mom🙂
I had a C section after being in labor for 20 hours and actively pushing for 2 hours. Never had surgery before my c section. Honestly one of the most terrifying and surreal things I've ever experienced. I don't quite think most people know how weird it is to have your body cut open [you only feel pressure if it's done right, no actual pain]. I'm convinced they used my upper belly and chest to hold a tray of tools while they stitched me up. 😂 I unfortunately wasn't allowed to hold my son immediately but my husband was allowed to sit with our son right next to me so I could see him and talk to him. The epidural and medications they gave me made me shiver and shake so badly that I wouldn't have had the confidence to hold my son if they had offered that option. I legitimately could not function for a solid 2 weeks after my son was born and my swelling in my feet was HORRIBLE for a solid month. Pregnancy and delivery are some crazy freaking things, peeps.
Oh my gosh! My swelling in my feet are so bad right now I nearly cry every time I look at them😭. This is my 4th but second C-section and I was just not prepared. Grateful that we’re both doing well, but really struggling with the way things turned out😓.
I had a c section too and it was my first ever surgery and hospital stay as well. I had all the same feeling as you did, except I was in labor for 30 hours and couldn’t deliver:( but that shivering and shaking is so painful, it’s hard to explain it to people who never experienced it:(
I had an emergency c-section due to my fibroid tumor. They had to knock me out because my heart rate was dropping and I felt everything. I died for a minute and lost 4 bags full of blood. All I know is that my baby was safe and that is what mattered to me the most. I’m finally feeling my abdominal area last month and my two year old is more precious to me than anything in the world.

Whenever you feel worthless just remember the fact that your mother went through a lot of pain to just see you because she felt you were worth all the pain .
If you have an emergency c section it’s nothing like this and 100x more brutal just saying especially when there’s no time to bring dad back and you have to do it all alone..z
Tor's Asmr i know, i had an emergency c section and my husband got so scared by it because he saw me pass out completely, everything was a blurr for me. Second one i was fully awake, which was even more scary for me.
True!! Or in my case, my husband came back, but they couldn't revive my daughter in the room and had to take her out, and my husband went with her, so I was alone and heard the OB say that I was bleeding and he couldn't stop it or find where it was. Took them over an hour to stop it and stitch me back up. The next one should be easier because it will not be an emergency.
I got very "lucky" with my urget c section. Just barely enough time to get in a spinal block and dad in the room before they started cutting. No skin to skin because my son was preemie and not breathing well on his own. But id do it all over again. Hes the best little guy 😊

That pregnancy ended at 6 weeks- a day after a promising ultrasound. Fast forward six months to the DATE and we found out we were pregnant with our son due May 17th. 💔🌈

This video was incredibly informative and further solidified not only my fear of pregnancy and labor but also my hardcore desire to never have children Thanks!
I hate when people tell me you forget the pain after birth. No, no I did not forget. The Only reason I tried for child #2 was my husband really wanted to try, but everyone also telling me every pregnancy was different. With hope I tried again and never will I have another child. Severe nausea/vomiting. And recovery isn’t all smiles. It’s heavy bleeding for weeks, burning, discomfort. I even had to go to the hospital a whole month after pregnancy, because I was having complications and that was just a vaginal birth. I wish people were more honest with pregnancy, because it’s not rainbows & sunshine for everyone. So, many people convinced me that it wasn’t bad at all. I learned my lesson after baby #2. But, keep in mind every pregnancy is different so it can be better for some than others. 😩

Laughing, coughing, and sneezing. Hurt so bad. My sisters taught me to hold a pillow to my stomach to help

@@Alexis_005 I don't want to be rude, are you open to questions?
Or they put you under.
I got very "lucky" with my urget c section. Just barely enough time to get in a spinal block and dad in the room before they started cutting. No skin to skin because my son was preemie and not breathing well on his own. But id do it all over again. Hes the best little guy 😊

I’m definitely not having kids, I thought this would be “better” than natural birth but oh no turns out they’re both unbearable experiences 🙃
Victoria Hatzson oh but it isn't. I just had my c-section 9 months ago and it really wasn't that big of a deal. Very painful in the first day but by the 3rd day I was pretty much back to normal except the showering part. You don't get to take a normal bath for like 2 weeks.
