You have taught me so much. Next time I'm gonna try to fix it myself. Keep up the good work dude! Greetings from Norway
To me, @ChrisFix is the only mechanic guy i followed on youtube. The only guy that demonstrate the correct and proper ways to repair the vehicles. Everything he presents in this video is how other automotive technicians should follow and pay attention to details especially in wheel bearings pressing section. He does an excellent job in instructing. It is exactly what What school have teach me. Be responsible to customers's vehicles when you are working on it, no short cut or sheety jobs. Im a mechanic student and have to come back to learn howto from your videos. I like all your videos, @ChrisFix
Man im 17 and have been working my ass off for months to get a del sol, and i just realized you have a video on them! I cant wait to finally buy one and build it with your help!
This video is absolutely brilliant! Thank you ChrisFix. I love that you show the things that go wrong and how to overcome them. Those are always the types of things I burn hours and hours on.
Thank you for all your videos! I am going to have one hell of an awesome truck when I'm done with it, thanks to all the videos! I did my wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, ujoints and new locking hubs on my 89 Ford Ranger this summer. And i have surprised several people by doing it mostly by myself.
I will be tackling my wife's 2012 traverse's front suspension this next weekend. Did her water pump this last weekend which was a pain, but done. This looks sooo much easier. Didn't think about painting. Might have to do that. Thank you for the vid!
Wow i don't have the patients you do for this type of work, but you are a good teacher and you make me want to become a mechanic! Definitely subscribing!
This video and its sequel are what helped me start to understand the basics of my car's suspension and eventually gave me the courage to do a front/rear strut replacement on my Camry. Some of the information had to be adapted to my specific car (mine doesn't have upper control arms and it has sway bar links that connect to the struts, for example) but it was still a huge help. After about ten hours over the course of two days, some scrapes and bruises, a trip or two to the parts store, and of course plenty of swearing, my car had four new struts and rode better than it has since I bought it. Also saved at least a thousand bucks over what my shop quoted me. Anyway, great video and thank you for putting all this information out into the world for free.
This is what I'm doing to my 94 Honda Accord and this video is very helpful. Having some trouble removing the inner tie rod and I accidently stripped the lower ball joint threads (oops). Never really worked on stuff like this before but enjoy learning new things. Thank you for the awesome videos and keep up the great work!
You can own a car early, just can't drive it. Could buy a fixer upper before you can drive, spend some time working on it, then by the time you can drive legally you can have a cheap free and clear car that you can have the pride of having repaired it yourself.
I stepped away from mechanics for a bit to follow my dream as a trucker... But now I need to rebuild my first car and rescue it from the scrap yard once again. It sat for five years... But now I'm gonna save it. Plus do a disc brake conversion. Thank you for everything you do, Chris. You helped me save my car in 2016/17 and you're gonna help me save it a second time. But this time I also have help from my dad and my lady. This is gonna be so much fun, I can't wait to dig in! I know it's gonna be rough but when it's done it'll be worth it.
Cannot wait to see how you install a new bearing. Taking a garbage one out with a hammer is low risk. Installing a new one without it going crooked or beating up the housing hurts my brain.
Thank you so much for your directional videos Chris! Saved me hundreds doing my own brakes and now I have the tools and knowledge to do it again in the future! Keep up the great work sir.

Very comprehensive video! Great examples, good audio as well 🙏🏽Class in session!
Your videos have helped me save so much money. Thanks.
Awesome!!! That’s what I like to hear!!!
Man your vids are dope! No extra bs talking. Just info and step by step. Truely one of the best Tubers out there!
Definitely agree
Still don’t have a car but love watching your videos👍keep it up
Doesnt mean you cannot learn! Plus when you get a car, you will know more than most people who already drive!
Me too
Never really been interested in repairing my own cars. The local mechanics has always done it for me.
But 2 weeks ago one of your videos showed up in my recommended and I gotta say.. You have taught me so much.
Next time I'm gonna try to fix it myself. Keep up the good work dude! Greetings from Norway
You never disappoint! It's like Chrisfixmas...
Everything was worn out, but it is very IMPRESSIVE that all the parts hold them self together in place! Honda after all👊🏼
Yea that is pretty good!
@@chrisfix Thank you for taking the time on replying bro. Big fan here!
I see those RPF-1’s Chris 👀 Also appreciate how much effort you put into these videos! Never realized how time-consuming it can all be.
Thanks a lot man!
It is exactly what
What school have teach me. Be responsible to customers's vehicles when you are working on it, no short cut or sheety jobs.
Im a mechanic student and have to come back to learn howto from your videos. I like all your videos, @ChrisFix
Ah the infamous non family content of Chris Fix
.... I peeped insta
@@whyleo- it had to be the hub thrusting lol
haha it must be all of that hammering!
I think I know why the video was restricted 7:05 😜
Hahahaha that was hysterical
Andrew Hahn wow just noticed haha😂😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAH🤣🤣
Ah....ooh? oooh.....
It wasn’t restricted
On Kelly Blue Book, there is a question that asks: "Is this car owned by ChrisFix?" If yes, then no depreciation is accounted for.
Haha, imagine!
ChrisFix is the 🐐 of youtube mechanics for sure.
Hector Martinez he is a goat?
@moistcorn Greatest of all time
Man im 17 and have been working my ass off for months to get a del sol, and i just realized you have a video on them! I cant wait to finally buy one and build it with your help!
Yessss finally!!! Been waiting for hours for this!!!
Sameeeeeee
This video is absolutely brilliant! Thank you ChrisFix. I love that you show the things that go wrong and how to overcome them. Those are always the types of things I burn hours and hours on.
Thanks and glad the video was helpful!!!
Can't wait until next week's episode!
Have alot of knowledge in cars and thinks about what people may not be able to get so he says alternatives.
Very good youtuber
Thank you for all your videos! I am going to have one hell of an awesome truck when I'm done with it, thanks to all the videos! I did my wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, ujoints and new locking hubs on my 89 Ford Ranger this summer. And i have surprised several people by doing it mostly by myself.
removing all suspension parts in the wheel well EZ. but making a tutorial video about it.... good job chris
Thanks Jimmy! Sometimes I wish I could just work on cars without the camera so I can get the job done faster haha
Your videos are awesome! They help people of all mechanical skill levels with a variety of tasks! Thank you and keep up the great work!
This is the teacher i wish i had. Not mechanically inclined but willing to learn.😊
I will be tackling my wife's 2012 traverse's front suspension this next weekend. Did her water pump this last weekend which was a pain, but done. This looks sooo much easier. Didn't think about painting. Might have to do that. Thank you for the vid!
Good luck! Let me know how it goes!

Lmao
Wow i don't have the patients you do for this type of work, but you are a good teacher and you make me want to become a mechanic! Definitely subscribing!
Welcome aboard! And thanks a lot!
Looks like chris is a very experienced and fast hand man for removing the hubs. Wonder where he learned that from 🤔

Lmao 😂
what do ya know, this comment has 69 likes
He clearly learned it from years of car repairs and no other activities that partake late at night.

Thank you for showing the Honda axel nut removal. My RAV4 was like this. Helpful. Thank you
You would make an amazing mechanic teacher man, good job, well thought out, planned and executed. Make it look so easy
damn Daniel back at it again with the 5 star content

Bruh if you watch this videos and you still can’t get it done in 3 days then it’s just you my guy
YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONGG!
Sweeeeet!
OH HELL FUDGING YES I THOUHGHT YOU SOLD THIS CAR
you are so lucky to have the Del Sol for just 300$!!!
Never! I want to fix it up and make it my own!
Even though I don't own a car because i'm under age i still watch these videos
You can own a car early, just can't drive it. Could buy a fixer upper before you can drive, spend some time working on it, then by the time you can drive legally you can have a cheap free and clear car that you can have the pride of having repaired it yourself.
same
I stepped away from mechanics for a bit to follow my dream as a trucker...
Hey guys! ChrisFix here and today we are gonna build an entire space shuttle using common hand tools at home!.
Honestly have always used a machine shop to press out bearings
@@TheRealImpertinent Nothing wrong with that! A hammer works as well haha
Cannot wait to see how you install a new bearing. Taking a garbage one out with a hammer is low risk. Installing a new one without it going crooked or beating up the housing hurts my brain.
Dude I love this Video! Makes me want to get another 90’s Honda!
Thank you so much for your directional videos Chris! Saved me hundreds doing my own brakes and now I have the tools and knowledge to do it again in the future! Keep up the great work sir.
Wow, I’m completely hooked on your videos! You explain everything with such clarity and simplicity, like a great teacher guiding a child ❤
Bravo , very good Video , thank yo u , could you tell us more about those Anti Rust
