Bet you’ve never seen a ford do that 😉
That’s a 80s nose
Yeah and also a genuine absolute unit
That's why Fords been the best selling truck for 48 straight consecutive years..... next year marking 49 😂 I haven't done anything as extreme as him but I'm not destroying my 100k platinum F350 to test it. Yes I've pulled over 90k lbs but I actually towed it for over 400 miles not 250 ft. Could my 350 drag that 10000% yes would it tow it far probably not they have weight sensors and things preventing overloading.
Ngl, the tool box falling over hurt me more than the truck did.
i actually saw a guy do that once. It totally fucked the box too all the bottom drawers were bent to shit
Right. It was so organized
Then he runs them over 😢
The fact that the truck towed all those trailers is actually really impressive

No fuckin shot
They didn’t show the back end of that trailer on purpose
Notice how when they showed moving shots, they never showed the rear?
Pulling it isn't a problem. Stopping is
@@njr684pulling it damn sure WOULD be a problem on that gravely dirt road, there’s no way in hell he would get that moving. If he was on pavement and had the transfer case in LOW Range and the trans in 1st gear then it might at least have a chance to get it moving but definitely not on that loose shit
Not sure why everybody gets so offended, as an owner of squarebodies, I'm actually impressed. I'd love to see a modern truck handle half of this.
Modern trucks are built twice as strong as those square bodies. They were reliable because they were simple, not stronger.
It’s the same reason Toyota “trucks” have the reputation of being reliable. They are incapable of performing the duties modern work trucks do regularly.
Sure, dropping a newer truck on its side could deploy the airbags and electronically disable it. But their hubs, axles, and frame are twice as strong.
Sure, modern high compression engines will hydrolock upon immediate startup after being upside down. But modern engines produce twice the power with twice the efficiency.
Finally, with exception to less parts to break and easier availability of replacement parts, that’s where the benefits of those old trucks end. Also 2019 and newer trucks, or any vehicle with onstar can be disabled remotely.
Half-ton trucks today can haul more than 90s HD trucks, much less something ten years older.
Because he destroys cars, that's the only reason, specially old cars that aren't common.
@@FacuGonz3 more cars get destroyed by people abandoning them or taking them to the scrap yard than this guy destroys
@@ericfrymire5682 I know
@@fZionists78but with a price tag of 80k plus who their right mind wants to have a debt like that when you can sink less than that into a shitty old truck and have more reliability and better aftermarket support for half the cost and actually see where the 1000 a month payment goes? I myself beat the brakes off my 78 chevy k20 and can fix it myself in a weekend or less hell it takes me right around a hour to pull the engine... do that with these fancy computer driven shitboxes nowadays good luck

There ain't many left! I'm a Ford guy, but they were both awesome back then, they don't make em like that anymore, the 8000 pounds in the bed would probably destroy a new Chevy, lol
You can hear it every time they bang on it, or close the hood/doors. This one sounds like replacement body panels. So at least he's not destroying an original survivor.
@@sultangris8063im a bowtie kinda guy. ive always loved old fords though. id take a 70s ford over a modern GM product lol. i wonder what he ever did with that one truck he kept nice
I still see a bunch of these driving around with holes the size of dinner plates rotted through them. So this level of abuse is just par for the course.
@@Hype679ya I don't think there's to many original survivors left. I live in farm country, we still have and use about 5 old 60s and 70s Fords, most of the old Chevys were cut in half and converted to a box trailers when they quit running, there are a couple original ones and restored ones around, but far more original Ford's around here at least. Honestly we've had them all and the Ford's were better at handling abuse. We do still have and use a 1970 C-50 Chevy with a grain box on it that has been pretty decent, but it's the only Chevy that's survived our farm. We still have and use every Ford we've ever bought, but only one Chevy stood the test of time and abuse.
This video reminds me of the top gear indestructible Toyota episode. Great video that makes me want this truck even more!

Oh it was definitely towing those mfs😂 to hell with a new duramax it’s square body time
It ain't ford it ain't worth it
Idk man. Call me a hater but there isn’t a single shot of the truck pulling the single loaded trailer or all 4 that showed the entire thing. Every single shot clipped the back out or cut out right before it showed the back of the trailer. I’m willing to bet they were pushing it with another vehicle, which is why you never see the back of the trailers in any shot

There was no gasoline so if was fake😑
Fr
Learn how it works before you call it fake they pop off like that to stop fuel from being spilled it’s a safety mechanism
@@Ima_strangerYou know they’re designed to break away and not leak gas right?
I worked at a gas station long ago and seen this happen the lines have a large metal connecting piece I’m not 100% sure how it works but my guess is magnets are holding it in so when someone drives away without putting the nozzle back into the pump instead of ripping out and potentially damaging the entire gas pump it just disconnects and halts the fuel supply leaving the pump. Literally designed to do that and I bet WD got permission to do that on purpose but even if he didn’t it still likely didn’t cause damage. Where I live we still have pump attendants and I used to be one this lady in her big truck pulled up wanted gas but it was busy and just me so I usually had a few cars on the go so I started hers and went off to do a few others she later heard it click off and not thinking assumed it was all hung up and done so she drove away with the nozzle still in her truck it disconnected same way it did for WD no body got hurt noting was damaged the thing is a bitch to put on its heavier than it looks but not unmanageable.
