If Im going to guess how much time did he use to make this one video from moving the camera to another angle it probably took him at least 1 hour of just moving the camera around.
Thanks man! Yea each scene takes forever to film because I want to make sure you get the best camera angles, the most info, clear sharp focus, bright lighting, etc. Each video takes over 120hrs to make from start to finish!
Awesome video! One thing you forgot to mention though is when bleeding the coolant system, turn the heater on max. This helps ensure all air leaves the heater core, plus as the air gets hotter it gives a physical indication that things are going well. The Dyno results are sick!! The power gains in the upper RPM range are crazy awesome!!

Chris, your videos are the thing, man! You put in so much hard work planning, performing, and then, editing the videos, it appears so easy to the viewers, even though it's not. After seeing your videos, I slowly started learning and trying to fix my 14-year old car, a 2008 Toyota Prius 2nd gen. It had a lot of trouble as I had to learn about MAF sensor cleaning, throttle body cleaning, air filter & cabin filter changing, finding performance oils & oil filters, spark plugs, PCV valves and transmission fluids, but your videos are very helpful man. Thanks!
I still can’t tell you how happy I am you made this tutorial. Went this route with the pi intake swap, used the rtv where you said, torqued it to spec. And it’s been a year and Iv had 0 leaks and issues with it! We appreciate you so much chris
Have a 97 T bird and I put a PI intake off a 2010 crown Vic on it and it definitely wakes up at redline. It made a huge difference for mid and high range power.
everss02 The triton v8 was only in the trucks via the 4.6 or 5.4 the mustangs all 96-04 2vs were either Windsor or Romeo blocks the difference is the tritons compression chamber were at a 75 degree angle for torque and the Romeo windsors were 90 for more power and when I say angle I mean the v in the center of the motor tritons are closer while mustang motors are further
I had a Crown Vic I put a CAI on and went from single to dual exhaust which made a very noticeable performance difference. But when it came time to change the intake due to it cracking like this I also went with a Performance Improved. I had no idea I had increased rear wheel HP that much AGAIN.
@@HAL-dm1eh The Police Interceptors '03 and up only made 10 short of the Mustang GT's 260 BHP, and already had the intake and dual exhaust setup. The base civilian models were restricted more, so they definitely have power that can be freed up.
@@enzdude Yea mine was a 98 so according to who you source the info from it had anywhere from 195 to 215 hp. I don't really know but it wasn't a lot. The later models had a good stock airbox, PI intake, heads and cam, were tuned for it and they had dual exhaust. While I didn't have the intake and cam I could have gone a couple steps up in gears and a tune and probably been pretty satisfied with the car. Regretfully I sold it.
Tip, if u dont want to cut a bolt for alignment, line them up and put extra rtv dots throughout the gasket to hold it in place. Thats how i did mine and it lined up with the coolant ports/ bolt holes almost perfectly Edit: would mention to sit something on gaskets while rtv sets before torquing down intake (pevents air leaks where gasket doesnt want to flatten out) I loved the dyno sheet in this video because the 4.6 community doesnt have a whole lot of actual before and after references for the npi intake vs the pi intake. cams, pi intake, injectors, and bigger maf will net you even more. About 250/260 crank hp

Mann that mustang keeps looking better and better in every video 👏🏼👍🏼 but that fire that came out during the test 😍
Thanks Alexander!
hey? CHRISFIX am small mechanic who just finished doing MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANICS and believe you me , you have help me alot THANKS to you bro
You should do a video on installing a turbo
Anthony Figueroa haggard garage has plenty of those
yes
It’s a Mustang you don’t turbo those you supercharge em
@@joedirt6212 You can also turbo em.
It would be better to put a supercharger in it because there is a bigger chance the turbo will cause backfire
The editing was on fire in this video. Keep it up
Thanks!
No problem. Been following you since the ranger-forums days. You teach me so much
I don't own a car and I don't think I will own one anytime soon, But I come every night and binge watch most of your videos over and over again and its just seems so peaceful. I have watched all your videos multiple times now but I keep coming for more. Keep up the good work.
Mechanic: sorry it is really hard to replace
Chrisfix: hold my thread locker
lmao true
Soapy Wooder*
That’s a lazy mechanic right there and probably not a the sharpest marker in the crayon box on to work smarter not harder
Probably the best and complete mechanic in the world! 😂😁
Dont even have a mustang but i still love to watch your diys, very detailed as always
Thanks! I still try to include some cool tips and tricks in the video for all cars!
This guy can literally build anything on a budget and make it run forever. Unfortunately due to certain laws in Serbia and because rarely anybody cares about Muscle Cars (including my dad) I can't go buy a SN95 Mustang and build it with my dad. I wish that my grandpa was alive because he, my dad and I would definitely buy one and build it as a family. Keep on the legendary work.
Watching things like this just fascinates me on how cars work. I can't wait to get a vehicle of my own just so I can work on it and learn more about this stuff!
It’s pretty cool right?!
ChrisFix Yeah no kidding. I learned a lot from your channel. Keep it up man
Be careful though bud, I was eager too, but know your threshold. I totaled my first car pretty much because I cracked the head on my engine working on it. Make sure you follow torque specs and be careful with older cars! Good luck bud
Excel Garage thanks man!
Intake manifold leaking like crazy
Chris: takes car to Dyno and floors it
Lmao
If ChrisFix worked for nasa: “this is gonna be super easy to do, we’re gonna replace this rocket booster using all common hand tools so you can do this at home”
I replaced my 03 crown vic pi Iintake Manifold using this video. I love your stuff @ChrisFix ! You are the G.O.A.T.! I do parts retail and my side hustle is detailing and some mcgyver upgrades and your stuff makes learning so easy!
I'm an automotive painter man, and cleared headlights have never failed me. Remember guys 70% prep and cleaning, 10% spraying and 20% polishing! Waxing over clear is also a great way to make sure they holdup good! Keep kickin ass Chris.
Thanks a lot man!
Omg I love the video especially when you went to dyno for the 2nd time as the exhaust back fired, I love it
jose sanchez ***SPOILERS****
Bruce Wilson sorry lol
jose sanchez yet to 6 to up 666y
Actually the only channel I want to be notified for! when a video come up
Thanks Brent!
Thanks!
Sorry, Chris, but Cooper stole the show!
Haha
Whats the cooper?
French Canadian Bastard His dog
Cooper is cute. You should let him be your assistant mechanic.
I showed my uncle this and he said it helped him so much and he said to tell you thank you
*Dog drinks coolant
Next video: “How to revive your pet with common tools at home”
You forgot the “soapy wooder”
And your medium strength threadlocker
But there will be some special tools that you can get at your local parts store
"How to flush out the fuel intake on your dog"
How to drain your dogs coolant using only a screwdriver
I still can’t tell you how happy I am you made this tutorial. Went this route with the pi intake swap, used the rtv where you said, torqued it to spec. And it’s been a year and Iv had 0 leaks and issues with it! We appreciate you so much chris
My favourite channel
Thanks Jonathan!

ChrisFix your welcome bro, like your job very much
Don't understand squat about cars but I still like watching this stuff lol
Hopefully you are learning more about cars as you watch!
I love the quality and effort and passion you put into these videos. High five from Hungary.
Thanks!
This is one of the best repair videos I have ever seen. You detailed every important step. The wheel dyno was a bonus. Now I want one.
You are best youtuber of this category !
Thanks!
3.4 million subs don't lie.......... .Chrisfix is a natural... and not a single hot pepper eaten
He's beating mighty car mods ass... wow
i wanna see Chrisfix and mighty car mods do a video together 👌
I wanna see chrisfix and Edd China do a video together.
Very nice bro..its a worth waiting video
I really liked that flame on the dyno
Have a 97 T bird and I put a PI intake off a 2010 crown Vic on it and it definitely wakes up at redline. It made a huge difference for mid and high range power.
This mustang needs more power, nice work😉
Mahmoud Dh i think he is gonna throw a supercharger in it
moamel B yehh of course
Turbo!
A coyote is needed, amazing how much better they are than the Triton v8.
everss02 The triton v8 was only in the trucks via the 4.6 or 5.4 the mustangs all 96-04 2vs were either Windsor or Romeo blocks the difference is the tritons compression chamber were at a 75 degree angle for torque and the Romeo windsors were 90 for more power and when I say angle I mean the v in the center of the motor tritons are closer while mustang motors are further
I seriously don’t even work on my own car anymore since I bought a new one but I watch these videos because you do such a good job at showing detail.
Thanks a lot!!!
ChrisFix I use to reference your videos when I use to work on my old explorer though! Now I just watch for fun!
this guy is my teacher because i wanna be a car mechanic when i grow up.
wow that's a big difference on the higher rpms, I definitely didn't expect that much.
This is one of the most high quality RUclips creator channels I've ever seen. Not even a car person but subscribed.
SPITED FLAMES PEW PEW!
*YeboiShnoram* when?
@@Cugy_2345 20:27
I wondered if anyone else cauht that. Was it because of the new manifold or putting some real gas in it?

❤FINALLY A NEW VIDEO!!
Yessssss
Your editing is so good! The overlay with the gasket was genius. Didnt even need to do that but it helped show how off the gasket was. So informative
It's always exciting to see a new ChrisFix video. This is really awesome, I'm learning a lot even though i don't have my car yet.
Awesome Mark! That’s the goal!
Mark Zaikov It's the same thing for me
Mark Zaikov same
Chris: "Yeah! its really so easy and its no brainer to do"
Me: I guess I need to pick up a new brain in the store
Next: how to install a brand new brain with common hand tools!
its a no brainer! Next: How to reduce weight by removing thick skulls with common hand tools!
Imma replace my brain with new carbon fiber ones HAHAHAH
anybody else seen the flames out f the exhaust at the end or was it just me
Rodrigo Herrera nah bro I saw it too😱
I actually blinked😍
@chrisfix what caused that?
Maybe it was running a bit rich and put some fuel in the exhaust. Not sure correct me if i am wrong
Actually burn my eyes
This man has the gift of teaching!!!
Amazing! This guy is a great teacher and has great editing skills. All the best! From Bahrain
Thanks a lot!
I really liked the over lapping shots.
Having a Crown Vic with the same 4.6L V8 makes these videos all the easier to follow. Appreciate your work.

Thats how i did mine and it lined up with the coolant ports/ bolt holes almost perfectly
Edit: would mention to sit something on gaskets while rtv sets before torquing down intake (pevents air leaks where gasket doesnt want to flatten out) I loved the dyno sheet in this video because the 4.6 community doesnt have a whole lot of actual before and after references for the npi intake vs the pi intake. cams, pi intake, injectors, and bigger maf will net you even more. About 250/260 crank hp
