With a little bit of practice, u can get it done in 30 mins. Just make sure you don’t tighten the drain plug and the oil filter too tight after draining it. It’ll give u an unnecessary headache the next time u go to do ur oil.

Put some fresh oil on the filter gasket and give it a quick spin on the threads until it seats the gasket to the engine. Then put a mark on the filter body facing straight down towards the floor. Now when you start to hand tighten the filter, about 3/4 turn, you can see where your mark comes around the the 3/4 position.

This was a really detailed and impressive breakdown of an engine and its various systems, while keeping it simple enough that almost anyone would be able to understand.
I’m no professional mechanic but I’ve done all my own work on my car for several years now through trial and error along with plenty of helpful RUclips videos. So it’s pretty safe to say that I know a lot more than the average person knows about cars, suspensions, various systems like cooling and power steering, and even a little bit about engines, though I’ve yet to do any serious work on an engine. But I definitely learned a few things from this quick and easy to follow video.
This is a great video for an overall view of everything that makes an engine work. Good job guys. I appreciate the effort y’all put into this.

for someone like me who’s just getting into cars/bikes and engines so that i can better take care of my motorcycle, and car for that matter, this type of video is so helpful because even if im not doing work on my own vehicles, it’s nice, especially as a woman, to at least have a little bit of knowledge about how things work so that i can confidently accept or decline anything a mechanic says i might need. for the most part i’ve never run into any issues, but i know there are shady mechanics who will take advantage of those of us who don’t know everything about cars, and donut has definitely helped me understand what mechanics are talking about and also how to do some things on my own that i couldn’t before. this style of video is so helpful for me so that even though i still won’t be working on my own car/bike, i at least know what a lot of the important things are and what they do so i can take better care of my stuff and not feel helpless when i go to a shop.
