@@asderocheruhh.. chill? He's critical of the shifts.... That's it.
Honestly this is my new favorite series! I also drive a EG Hatch and It’s slow but so fun to drive! This series is not only inspiring me but I also find this series and a lot of the other donut videos to be very informative yet entertaining and the same time. I LOVE YALL! ❤️
So glad you are having fun with this. Neat to see all the people coming together to help out.
I was came to Miami in 92 from Colombia and the civic hatchback was my Favorite car. So cool to see the Potential, Amazing Job!!
Love to see Vtec academy giving sublime wisdom. You picked the right person for this job.
Loving the series as a Honda guy, great build, funny to see some minor differences the old K series engine had compared to later models (oil filter location) this is the content I enjoy the most from you guys! Love builds
that location pisses me off😂
Man, i fucking love this car
@@gammauno I am so glad that on my 12 Civic Si the filter was positioned vertically instead of horizontal, my old D17 had it that way and it was an absolute mess when doing oil changes, also what a screamer that thing is at 8600 RPM!
@@flymachine014 More reliable than toyota?
It’s impressive how you guys produce great video after great video . Also what you guys are doing with real mechanic stuff is huge !!
Zach is my favorite Donut host. Such a chill guy
The way she just purred to life with no hassle or fuss is just incredible. K-series to the rescue!
I would be interested in seeing a parts cost breakdown and an estimate of how many hours this took. Very fun to watch!
I've been a subscriber since it all started with up to speed with James, this channel has grown so much and I love everything you guys put out. Every video is so interesting as a car guy. I just wanna say I'm a huge fan and hope you the best with this civic build and more to come ❤
11:11 SUPRA KIDS GONNA BE CRAZY 😂
You guys have gotten so much better over all your builds. Starts on the first try and straight to the track 🤙 fun to watch!
Straight to the tuner* then to the track
🤓👆
The production quality of Donut Media is absolutely FUCKING INSANE!!! To think all this started with James doing Up To Speed
Does that even come on anymore since donut was bought out?
Shout out to Brian. Thanks a ton for everything you do for the community.
My civic with b20 vtec has 205hp and it does 5seconds 0-100 as well but the sound is not even close as good as yours guys haha
Those EG's are a blast. Almost no weight to them at all so once they get any amount of power, they fly. Well done Donut Crew!
Yeah that 0-60 time was nuts for 200hp
@@Grimesitty agreed! With more grip it probably could be under 5 seconds as well
It’s good to see an OG Help out with this build. Imagine putting together the perfect kit. Good on him and good on Donut.
you know its a good day when donut uploads
Throw some itbs on it ! Some cool weight reduction and add a throwback Jackson racing supercharger. If you can make it work
11:34 every Civic owner at 3am
lol this Civic went to being somewhat of a joke upgrade car, to being one of their most badass builds
I'm not a fan of Hondas but at least they're giving it proper performance stuff instead of turning it into another ricer that's all show and no go. It still sounds ricer though.
I love to see people truly enjoying life like these guys
I love when they fire up the engine for the first time, the OG honda mechanic isn't even paying attention. He knew that thing was gonna fire right up.
Curious to see if upgrades to the harness and interior have a measurable impact on track times. Also, 0-60 ftw! Huge difference. Fun to watch. Thanks!
i think it would absolutely make a difference, just don’t know how much of a difference
The thing I love about this episode is that they actually explain everything thats going on. Sometimes in a video they'll gloss over all of the changes, this was great to watch.
Got back into Forza Horizon 5 recently and gotta say, you guys are fucking awesome in the Donut Media story segments. Couldn't believe it when I saw you guys pop up in the game.
I loved it too, but still sad the Alfa Giulia isn't available. 😢
@@aFlxibleLife Next update
@@aFlxibleLifedon’t worry man, august 17, 2023, it will be back.
What?? Ok guess I'm redownloading Forza 5
Now we just need this Civic in Forza
Im falling in love with this civic. They got super popular after the first Fast and Furious. It's great how you are using parts you had from previous episodes
No they didn’t they been popular ina street racing drag racing world ! Now they are last few years but real racers n mechanics been swapping out integras n civics for years
I'm not actually a car guy really, but you all seem to have so much fun together and your videos are always really entertaining
😀
So (out of curiosity) what brought you here, if you aren't a car guy?
@@BradViciouswe are all car guys at heart
@@peytonlindsey3483 "we all", being, who? Everyone? Lol
This is amazing - please keep doing these! I love little civic builds like this
You calling this "LITTLE" build? xD, what's a BIG build than? :D:
@@crnigruja2220 I have a decked out Honda. I would consider it a little build - Hondas are easy little toys. Try doing this on a BMW man - That's a money pit
Have to say, the quality has really improved recently. The last few videos especially have been interesting and fun to watch
Shame donut didn't have the management talent to keep you guys, look forward to following your new channel ❤
Love how Nolan had to choke back his laughs when Zach said "let's see if it'll be able to compete with a new type-R"
Awesome to see Brian helping you guys out. The man is a wizard with Hondas
I was Soooooooooo excited to see Brian on your channel!!!!!!!! I’ve also been waiting a LONG time for you to install that motor in this car. Best episode ever.
I have a Peugeot 206 with 105 hp. You have no ideahow much i love this antique car. I just wish i could give it to you guys so that you could do your magic on its engine like you did to this civic. Driving it with twice the power would be absolutely legendary.
Never really watched donut because it seemed a little too “new to being acar guy” for me but this build series has changed my mind.very fun watching this build come together!
Man, this video is so fun! It’s like what I dreamed I would’ve been able to do when I was 19 years old. Love this series. Thanks for the great content BOOOIIIIZZZ
Have been waiting for this one! Can't wait for the turbo to be installed
I can't wait to see this car completed! Might be my favorite project you all have worked on!
Also, I would love to see a high/low civic build in an older civic like this
They're just building the high
Definitely an interior makeover, but with a type R twist. Make it as light as possible & as safe.....😁👍
I have missed this type of content so much. I love everything else but Money Pit type content has always been my favorite. Sick, boys. Now let's get some seats, bar and harness in there.
You guys need to do more builds like this, take the old money pit rides and turn them into trackday/weekend warriors!
i see Zach, i click. he does actual car stuff
Editing and flow is top notch, good job boys
This really is the A team for the Civic! Love the build so far!
I'm a diesel owner who drives a Mazda and man you gotta love being able to stab a transmission by just picking it up and popping in in. Love the videos and keep up the great work!!!
Honestly doing a supercharger setup would be pretty awesome.
