Blame the current staff of Playground Games. It's 100% clear that the original team that made FH1 is long gone and replaced by business bro's and trend chasers, not trend setters.
Nolan's lap time is genuinely impressive, pro driver only going 1 second faster. Never knew he was so fast, respect. Edit: must work on consistency though haha

What’s up DM😎 my son and I have watched all of your videos from the beginning to current day and have laughed and learned a lot. We have an NB2 Miata that we bought the Maxrods for and they need to be refilled with the hydraulic fluid. The issue we are having and would love the help on is, we can’t find the correct fluid and specs to rebuild them. We even called the company and visited their site but there were no clear instructions on the subject. Thank you in advance and keep making some of our favorite videos 🤩
Love watching you guys build because you actually educate and make it super fun so you don't have to be a car expert to understand the video. Can't wait to see how these cars turn out.

Production value and flow is insane, you guys are killing it. Only gripe ... would have loved to see a rally hi low since we have already had a track one (they are WRXs after all!)
My 98 civic has max speeding rods I had them for 3 years and they still work brand new, I had bc coils before and they leaked twice, Im always buying max speeding rods they are also comfortable for daily driving
Not since they turned to wish centric videos and dropping all their legacy shows like d-List, wheelhouse, up to speed etc. Doesn't feel like donut anymore
@@babagandu first off do some research there's usually an option that isn't expensive that won't turn the car overly stiff. Then you should just be able to google the name of the coil over and "buy"

This updated format version of high low seems soooooo good! The educational information inbetween the known format is short but insanely interesting. Hope you keep this up in future videos !
This will be worth revisiting after a few thousand miles to see how they've held up. Also, worth mentioning that TEIN has a rebuild and technical support service, and Maxpeepee does not. Also, TEIN's dampers have EDFC compatibility.
I really like how you spent the extra time and effort to go into detail about assembly quality, settings, types, and other details of the new components.
I would HIGHLY recommend doing an oil pan upgrade. Wrx pans are known for starving in long corners, you can get an sti pan or a baffle kit, but that's probably what toasted the old motor. Do not get sticky tires before upgrading oiling
I feel like the series came back with a fresh new coat of paint! I'm excited to see what my favourite brand can show in quality at different price points!
Definitely check out cylinder 4 cooling mods unless you want another cylinder to leave during mid chat and possible blast plates for those five speed cases lol. Glad to see another season of hi/low

I'm really confused, did I miss a video introducing the cars and this season of hi-low? For the first bit of this video I wasn't sure if this was actually hi-low or not. With that said, great to have it back for another season! Can't wait!
I agree. We need that animated intro. I guess they are still working on it. Since the motor blew up, maybe they are second guessing using old unreliable wrxs
Or maybe with the production/editing changes on this video an intro just straight up got missed/left out? Again, regardless, really excited for this season especially as the budget seems to be growing. Keep up the great work guys 🤘🏻
the problem with things like ebaymotors/rock auto is that YOU have to know what you need. ALWAYS TYPE IN YOUR VIN!!!! This is why part houses are still functional. We can get you what you need. we aint mechanics but we're here to help.

Did you guys get a new editor or did he just have more fun this time?
New editor
Only place where i don't actually skip the ads.
You dudes are UBER entertainment
Production levels and overall quality of the videos just keeps getting better and better, you guys are killing it
I’m glad someone else noticed it too, it’s great seeing donut improve even more so much over the years
I cannot wait for the engine mod phase to hear these beasts sing. Equally I will watch every episode between now and then. Plus the production on this is pretty sweet
sing more like blow up trash ass engines 4
@@Moe_z I’m terribly sorry my enthusiasm and support for the content has offended you
@@1991julez it did not ur cool I just think these cars have the worst engines and sound like fart cans
Lol go watch the latest video I called it
I love that Nolan had the fastest lap times, so proud of him
I hope Nolan can get a chance to be the high car during a later season.
I am so immeasurably happy that im getting the OG hi lo vibe from this and it is getting me really hyped to mod my car more, it is also inspiring me and making me happy to be in the car scene. Thank you donut media love you forever and always!!!
Likewise, I started thinking about all the other mods I could do to my car after watching this.
Slick editing! That bit where Zack is explaining how coil-over replacement works was really excellent.
This season with these cars is feeling great! Super entertaining. Would be fun to see the donut team tackling some real team racing maybe time attack or something.
The wrx is one of my all time favorites! So glad you are doing the new series with these!
I love how this is explaining everything, and how it matters. This High Low season is gonna be AMAZING
Jesus, yall got something great here. I've been watching car shows for literally over 30 years and this show even after only 5 minutes I connected to like that once in a lifetime feeling ya know! This show, the guys the excitement of it WOW!
Finally some older style donut content. Ive missed this so much.
This format is great! Diving into identical ish parts and running scientific tests on them! The disection was definitely a huge bonus! Good stuff guys!
Just gotta say it breaks my heart that the production quality of the Forza Donut Media content was 1/100th the quality you guys deliver on a regular basis here...
Yeah so far it wasn't that great. Basically a half hour tutorial.
Blame the current staff of Playground Games. It's 100% clear that the original team that made FH1 is long gone and replaced by business bro's and trend chasers, not trend setters.
Supposedly there's supposed to be a part 2 to the update soon
@@dmitri546 if you suppose
@@dmitri546is that true?
2:05 I love what y'all did there! He got knocked out by the coilover D;
Nolan's lap time is genuinely impressive, pro driver only going 1 second faster. Never knew he was so fast, respect.
Edit: must work on consistency though haha
In low car, yes, but Nolan bested the pro driver by .5 sec in high car.
Are we not gonna talk about the editing at 1:44?!?!? Donut editing team, youve outdone yourselves again!
I love that they tease Nolan so much all the time yet he is always at the top end of every driving challenge. :D
He's at the top because of all the milk he drinks.
Love Hi Lo series n couldnt be more happier they are doing wrx's! I just dropped 9k into my 05 FXTs engine bay, from an iag closed deck shorty to grimmspeed lightweight crank pulley theres soo much you guys can do here, can't wait for next episode.
One thing I've noticed about this car channel is it appeals to alot of women and people who are just car fanatics.. cool to see for sure
So glad HiLow is back but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss Aaron on these
What happened to him?
@@rajivbeachoo3785 no idea tbh
They didn’t brought him back for this season. It wasn’t Aaron’s call…
@@punisherpr I recently came across his IG post on Reddit where he kinda explains his absence. Horrible decision by the bosses to part ways with him. Sucks :/
@@ivansanchez6070 Im pretty sure it’s the same post I read… it does suck bad…
The production and entertainment value has massively evolved from season to season. Love to see the progression!
I daily a 06 STI with tein Flex z coilovers. They are around 800 for the set and a great midrange option. Same adjustability as the expensive ones. Ride real nice too. Excited to see what all you guys do to these bad boys. Keep up the good work.
I daily the same ones on a 350z and they ride great as well!
The editing on this one won’t go unnoticed. Awesome work!
The quality of this video is immense, you guys must have put so much work into it. The visuals showing what you’re talking about especially is just really well done. Can’t wait to see more!
This show gets even better every season
To the editor who did that sick split shot of Job stumping and taking the old coilover out at the same time so he could then catch it from the stump: I SEE YOU!
Production value and flow is insane, you guys are killing it. Only gripe ... would have loved to see a rally hi low since we have already had a track one (they are WRXs after all!)
I love this new approach in this series, theyre more into details and explaining things! Cant wait for the next episode!
My 98 civic has max speeding rods I had them for 3 years and they still work brand new, I had bc coils before and they leaked twice, Im always buying max speeding rods they are also comfortable for daily driving
You guys really stepped up the presentation and production value. Great job
Yes sir it’s a good day when donut media posts a video
Not since they turned to wish centric videos and dropping all their legacy shows like d-List, wheelhouse, up to speed etc. Doesn't feel like donut anymore
As an owner of cheap coilovers that made my car feel like I bolted the wheels right to the body... yes, more is better in this case 😄
How can I get coilovers for my car ? I can't find
@@babagandu literally amazon
Or eBay
For my drift forester I got racelands and they were a big improvement over stock
@@babagandu first off do some research there's usually an option that isn't expensive that won't turn the car overly stiff. Then you should just be able to google the name of the coil over and "buy"
Just binge watched the Nissan Hi-Lo and I’m so ready to get into this one too !! THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH AWESOME SHOWS and for free to view ! ❤ legends
Mad props on the epic animations. Has anyone noticed how great the editing is in the videos? Superb content...
Okay we get it you suck high cars dick 😂👋🏽
who tf calls technical support
@@chasemoneyy well if your damper is leaking oil, you could ask them if its alright to just seal it with tape or silicone sealing
Bro….hi-car is already broken 😂😂😂
I really like how you spent the extra time and effort to go into detail about assembly quality, settings, types, and other details of the new components.
I would HIGHLY recommend doing an oil pan upgrade. Wrx pans are known for starving in long corners, you can get an sti pan or a baffle kit, but that's probably what toasted the old motor. Do not get sticky tires before upgrading oiling
Im happy you guys brought this series back! Especially with some Subies ✌
I gotta give it to the editors and donut crew for making these videos so well made. Honestly great to watch
You boys deserve your own TV show honestly the best series I've seen in a long time
RUclips is a tv show my dude lol. They make way more money this way
corporate networks ruin everything. This show would suck balls if it were on TV because the network would dictate what they do.
They do, they have a whole channel
This is better than TV, they’re able to make more money and dictate what they do without anyone else telling them how to do what.
This sort of stuff is what's gonna make the Subarus so fun to watch them work on. Super weird and specific details. It's like Subarus were built in bizaro land
@@IRMacGuyver well that’s because they are haha. Just a minor insurance part to make sure cylinder four won’t get cooked again
So happy to have this series back again! Always been a favorite, and it feels like the production quality has stepped up even higher. Looking forward to the next one :)
Oh my dear sweet Jesus… I’m only 5ish minutes in and I’m in love. This… THIS…. Is the Donut Media I fell in love with all those years ago. Can’t even begin to describe how happy this makes me
Each iteration just keeps getting better! Idk how you managed to fit so much track time and educational information in that time frame, but well done!
SO stoked about a new Hi-Lo season, i love the chosen cars and can't wait to see more :D
Yo Nolan’s progression makes me feel like I can get past my own plateaus!
Good job boys! Makes me feel a lot better about getting a set of MaxSpeedingRods for my '05 tC lol
Donut never fails to deliver. Man this is good. Thank you for posting such high quality content.
bro it was posted 6min ago the vid is 20min
I’d argue that their content took a dip in quality, recently hoping Hi-lo coming back would give us a boost
