Vivaro project pt.10. Adjusting those rattling back doors.

- So after sound deadening the van we noticed the the back doors were rattling.
This is what I did to sort it out.

My Peugeot boxer back doors rattle tons more than yours did and theres lots more movement at the top and bottom catches. Its driving me mad 😢 I'm going to attempt this at the weekend 😨 wish me luck 🤞😂

Breakers yard for new catches? will the top one fit the bottom to enable you to buy a used top one to fit the bottom? The aperture rubber looks a bit iffy maybe change that as well. Vauxhall prices are strange. Things you expect to be expensive.....aren't and vice-versa! Great video keep them coming.
Thanks 👍. The trouble with second hand is knowing if it's any better than what you already have? I don't know if the top and bottom are interchangeable. I agree about the Vauxhall prices, I just bought some brake parts and they were cheaper then eBay! Thanks for the comment 😃.

Hi, I have just purchased a 2007 Renault Trafic lovely condition, but there is quite a large gap in the middle the two rear doors, they seems to open and close fine, but the gap is clearly larger than it should be and more so at the bottom than the top. Any chance you could do a video on best how to rectify this? Is it just a case of loosening the bolts on each door and moving them across? Someone I know even suggested they could be bent into position....not sure I like the sound of that!
I would imagine that there is a way of adjusting them? This is my hobby and I only have time to fix the problems I actually have. Good luck sorting it out 🤞.

Have you had to get to the wiper motor yet at all, not sure if it’s a if of a job as mine keeps blowing the fuse so think the motors dead, had a quick look and it doesn’t look like fun!

My 2006 Vivaro was doing the same thing. Turned out it was the wiper stalk was faulty.
i had to replace bottom one, cost me £45...
That's a pain.
