About Lemon Rice Recipe: A squeeze of lime makes everything better. A quick and easy rice preparation enhanced with distinct flavours of lemon juice, curry leaves, turmeric, whole chillies and mustard seeds.
Cooked rice tossed with a tangy lemon and spice tempering. lemon rice is one of the most commonly made south Indian rice dish. It is usually eaten alone or with pickle, yogurt, raita, pachadi / chutney or kosambari. Some even like to enjoy with masala vada, papad or pakora. The lemon rice preparation is very similar to that of Chinese fried rice except that spices used in this recipe are different and its lemony yellow color will make your taste buds tingle.

All very well prepared. Good presentation. Recipe is all perfectly balanced.
A humble request, even if someone aged has told you the method.... .never ever directly heat lemon juice, it is Harmful to health. Please refer to any health expert to verify.
The citic acid when heated directly, gives adverse effects.
So, once all spluttering is done in oil with mustard, ginger, green chilly, peanuts, chanadal, urdhdal, take it iff the stove, allow the heat to normal heat, then add lime juice, then it will be safe.
I am sharing this knowledge after 50 years of seeing, knowing, learning traditional recipes. This comes under 1 title called Kalandha Saadham. It it, you have Puliyodharai, Lemon Sadham, Ellu Sadham, Thayir Sadham. Puliyodharai & Thayir Sadham is Neiveidhyam for Perumal & Thayir Sadham & Uzhunu Vada for Siva Jwala Kala Bairavar of Kasi.
In all these after a very simple health issue concern which even some people even in temple may not know, SHREE's presentation & recipe of Lemon rice or Sadham is very good 👍👍👍
