The free version of motioncam has been taken down and replaced with a demo of the pro version, which has been raised to an extortionate $36. I would recommend trying to find an older version of motioncam free, or not using it at all. I have made a new video about a different app and here it is: ruclips.net/video/hcf-TNfiKZw/видео.html
TIPS AND CORRECTIONS Decent performance is only guaranteed if your phone is newer and has a snapdragon chipset. You can fix some issues by turning power saver mode off and turning enhanced processing on. You can fix some further issues by restarting the phone and closing background apps. ALSO: I showed the cover of a uv filter but the filter was actually a “circular polarizer” ALSO: I thought that most cameras had a dynamic range of about 12 to 14, but in reality they only mostly have 7 to 10 stops and phones usually have 4 to 6 according to photonstophotos.net
guys he is actually telling the truth I have an s22 ultra and my raw video actually went head to head with iPhone 15 pro max's prores. the only real advantage IPhone has is the 60fps prores but at 30fps, mine did manage to pull more detail and less noise, even tho I had to use almost twice as much iso (yea that's how large the iphone's sensor is compared to the s22u's)
I bought several Pixel phones cause everyone was raving about the camera...if you like post processing to be done automatically, maybe they are ok...i wouldnt know...i hated the camera on all my Pixel phones...got a free S20 FE 5G from my phone company couple year back and I am definitrly never going back to Pixel phones. Camera is miles better, Dex, etc. Pixels sucked but I didnt realize til I stopped using them.
Dont get your hopes up with the DOF adapter... I used one with motioncam and the results are terrible lol I wish the xiaomi 12 concept was a product that people could actually buy for this reason
using a nd filter is only good to avoid clipping, you should not use it to get the exposure right in raw otherwise it will only increase noise, the reason raw is so bright and always looks overexposed is because they expose to the right (ETTR), so you cannot avoid to do the painful process of post processsing raw just to fix the exposure
The best way is to just film with a lower iso, but the way I denoise is just to use the "remove noise" node in resolve fusion which also works in the free version.
Check if you have an exynos cpu in your phone using cpu z because raw video works better on snapdragon smartphones (and also the app is still in very early beta)

No, iphone's sensor is just a bit larger
s24u got 4k 60fps option
@@nikhilt3755 same as the s21 fe
Both have nearly 1/1.3 inch sensor.

For what it's worth the pro app has several workflow improvements. And it's always good to support the devs 😊
i swear this guy has such high quality videos how is he not more relevant
You deserve encouragement, Good continuity 👏👏👏
Good stuff! you got it :D

well that sucks
And yes the concept phone is a good idea, not too sure what everyone would think about the lens part though lol
Raw recording on my regular s23 is very stable

Xiaomi has the native log and raw option in their 13t series up
your older phone doesnt drop frames when recording raw? my pixel 6 does
It does at higher resolutions
Can u switch between all 4 lenses DURING recording with this app?
no
Question, what's the best way to denoise the video

Use temporal denoise in Davinci. It denoise footage without removing details.
the app sucks big time!! I try'd the free version every time i tild y phone for the wide angle its shuts off my S22 Ultra instanly
It is in beta so it still has bugs. The same thing happens on my s10+ when I try and go to the ultrawide it restarts my phone
