Isn't it wild how you end up becoming more scared of a normal scenario, you eventually long for a wave of blood or a creepy wall guy or a door rattling or a vent leaking black liquid, that is what you want to see, it's when you walk through a corridor that is seemingly perfectly normal that your anxiety spikes, because now you can't easily find what's wrong.
If you intend to do similar games in the future, heres a few tips. The first room is always a freebie. This is the game saying this is how everything should be. If you get something wrong, you are often sent back to the freebie room. This often allows you to look at both the normal and previous room to figure out what you missed. Some things will happen over a period of time, such as objects shrinking
Another thing about this particular game is that i believe that you have to end on a room with no anomalies, meaning that you could get back to back anomalies if you're really unlucky
wait till somedev uses this comment as a challenge and makes the first room be anything and actively ensures you cant figure out what exactly is the reason for things happening.

Enthusiasts of the genre would obviously figure things out pretty quickly though, as they've gotten good at memorizing what rooms are like. (I say this as an enthusiast - I am pretty good at spot-the-difference in all forms now that these games have become popular.)
and one huge tip, please take your time and look over everything. cause speed running on your first try is what made you lose a lot of times, and not learning anything
Most useful tip I learned from others, the room number indicates how many anomalies can exist in that round, so if it's hall 6, it has a probability of 0-6 anomalies in it

the way this game functions, for anyone who doesn't know, is: if there IS an anomaly, turn back, and the number in the sign will increase. if there ISN'T an anomaly, continue, and the number in the sign will increase. if you do the opposite, the number will reset back to zero. the anomalies can be extremely obvious, like the door bang, the black goo oozing from the vents, or very minimal, like the yellow line in the floor changing, the man start smiling, etc. Also, the anomalies may be timed (it takes a while until they happen), they might be already be there (like the 2 man standing in the corridor), or they might even be based on how far you walked on the corridor.
also if you go back at all after looking down the hallway without there being an anomaly after the yellow sign with your exit number. 14:58 it doesn't just reset the exit but also your next one to 0.

Really enjoyed this vid! These games can be tedious, but that’s kinda the fun, it forces you to get into the world, so when you notice a small thing out of place you didn’t before, you get a chill as well as a “how many times have I walked right by this thing.” The game actively tries to get in your head. As for the comments here, sure, it’s fun when you know the solution because it can create some incredibly ironic moments, but the fun for me is watching how Smii7y approaches it over time. Remember that you aren’t watching to have the game completed, you are watching to see someone’s experience of trying to figure out the puzzles. the way this game functions, for anyone who doesn't know, is: if there IS an anomaly, turn back, and the number in the sign will increase. if there ISN'T an anomaly, continue, and the number in the sign will increase. if you do the opposite, the number will reset back to zero.
the anomalies can be extremely obvious, like the door bang, the black goo oozing from the vents, or very minimal, like the yellow line in the floor changing, the man start smiling, etc. Also, the anomalies may be timed (it takes a while until they happen), they might be already be there (like the 2 man standing in the corridor), or they might even be based on how far you walked on the corridor.
Him just RUNNING through the levels without actually slowing down long enough to even see IF something was going to happen drove me crazy 🤣
also if you go back at all after looking down the hallway without there being an anomaly after the yellow sign with your exit number.

Really enjoyed this vid! These games can be tedious, but that’s kinda the fun, it forces you to get into the world, so when you notice a small thing out of place you didn’t before, you get a chill as well as a “how many times have I walked right by this thing.” The game actively tries to get in your head. As for the comments here, sure, it’s fun when you know the solution because it can create some incredibly ironic moments, but the fun for me is watching how Smii7y approaches it over time. Remember that you aren’t watching to have the game completed, you are watching to see someone’s experience of trying to figure out the puzzles. If this video were 15 minutes of him happening to catch it almost every time I wouldn’t enjoy it near as much.
