    In 5 or 10 years we know phone cam will be even better so better results with motioncam, the quality will keep getting better with the app since cams in phone will keep upgrading
    you already know motioncam results will keep getting better since phone cams will keep upgrading.
    Since motion has been out, newer phones have come out that show a difference from an earlier series model. S25 is coming that will be sharper and clearer than S24,S24 is sharper and clearer than S22 and S20,The model I have s20fe is less sharper and less clear than S22-24. Just imagine how much more detail the S40-50 will have using a monster program like Motioncam. I'm glad to witness history.
    To me motion when compared to stock or any other phone cam app looks like dslr quality compared to a phone cam

    I have note 10 lite and it's the best device I got rn to shoot videos, the footage is a bit laggy too sometimes
    also after shooting two videos, I can convert them to dng no problem, but the videos I shot afterwards which were sometimes of 5 seconds or 12 or 10 they only had 3 frames in total with the entire video, like if I playbacked the video it would skip to it's last frame and show 15 seconds of the original video but the video won't play and after exporting to dng it would only show those 3 frames only in the entire folder

      Hi Anthony. Did you import the actual folder with DNGs (both the folder itself and the DNGs inside the folder)? That's how it worked for me in Davinci. I would just drag the folder into my project bin and Davinci would translate the whole folder of DNGs as one video (named after the folder).

    I did more tests this morning compared to 400mb to 1200 mb, and the difference is very small; a person needs to zoom in and nitpick to see the difference, so I would say 400 mb is the max at which it shows a good jump from 230 mb, so I suggest a person stick to 400mb. directlog

    • @RJBaculo
      @RJBaculo  Год назад

      Dropped frames are like skipped frames and are caused usually because your phone cpu/ram can't handle it. And your framerate seems to be limited because it is an older device (or isnt a well supported chipset) and that is the most it can do with raw (I have the same problem with my Samsung S10)

      @@RichbergEntas an lgv30 user myself, i have a few things to say regarding lg cinelog. firstly, although it has been advertised as 10bit log footage, it is infact 8 bit, 422 i believe. better thsn the 420 on most phones but the 422 coded does not support 10bit so their marketing was a lie. besides that, the footage, while you can get some stuff and push colors better than just regular phone footage, it is a farcry from raw footage(i shoot in 14 bit raw on other cameras). really, the best thing about cinelog is the slight increase in dynamic range and the fact that lg doesnt sharpen the cinelog footage which is great.
