- Turkish bread Bazlama is easy to make flatbread baked in a pan. Similar to pita bread but it is a yeast dough with milk and softer. Goes well with Turkish breakfast or with any meal as bread or perfect for making sandwiches as well. I have good tips for you to make it perfect. Make sure you watch the whole video and work with every step :)
Ingredients For Bazlama (Turkish Flat Bread)
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tbsp dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup lukewarm milk
about 3+1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
semolina or coarse cornmeal to sprinkle (optional)
Non-stick or cast-iron pan to cook

I love Turkish recipes 💖💗
The secret to get air inside while cooking is not to oil the pan. You only have to put the dough on dry preheated pan.
Thanks for the tip
Thank you
I made the bread using another recipe which used oil to knead the dough. Missed the 2nd rising part so no air pockets but the bread was soft and yummy! Everyone in the family LOVED it! It lasted us for 3 days (refrigerated) and was still soft on Day 3 :) Now I've been asked to make another batch :) Will use your recipe & tips this time.

Attempt 1. Used a different recipe with the same method but instructions were not as clear(no voice-over). Ended up with pretty hard bread :(
Looking forward to attempt 2 tomorrow. Your instructions on thickness and flipping, make this so much clearer.

It's seems very delicious, Our country in India, we called it "Roti" ,but we don't use yeast, & the thickness of the Roti is less then yours, and it's so simple for us to making all the roties too much fluppy with pockets ❤🙏
