The 5 sec rule sounds stupid at first but quite logical. Looks like our minds are designed to protect us from doing uncomfortable and difficult things. Everyone knows what we need to do but it's always hard get yourself doing it. But as Mel says, Life comes down to your decisions and when you change your decisions you can literally change EVERYTHING.

Ultimately, it’s not about whether a tip is silly or not. It’s whether it works. And this works. It really is all about that habit loop.

This was a very good book. And, this is a very good video. Like any other habit, this will not work the first time you try it so most people will just stop. In the book, Robbins says you may have to attempt to implement this habit numerous times before it kicks in.

5.4.3.2.1 gets you to the goal line..
' Lift off'. ..Or 'launch' ...Or 'go' gets you moving over the goal line..
5..4 is mental prep...Go is the action step....

I believe we overthink, we overcomplicate things, sometimes we feel are life is so out of sorts that there needs to be something extraordinary we need to find or do in order to change it and it's true it requires a great level of discipline, determination to make your ambitions come true but the first step always will be to TAKE ACTION, you have to sit and do the work and that's where the shit begans but no matter how simple it may sound, it's always boils down to just doing it in the first place, we end up overthinking in taking the first step where we just don't need to and end up procrastinating, just do it

    COUNT UP rather than down??? (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...OK 6, 7, 8, 9. 10 GO!)
Counting down may be forcing things. Counting up, we may add to the count, more times?
