Hey, at least you had things of value to sell while you had a hard time. I'm sorry you had to do that, if the bullrun cycles continue what cost you money in gear now will cost even more not to be running, but I encourage you that we all go through tough times, and I hope you get to a season where accumulating hardware is good for you again. Everyone goes through periods where they have to rebuild. 2023 was very hard on me in regards to making enough to get by, but towards the end of the year I managed to level up on my job and feel a turning point in my life. I hope you can have your turning point too. We can't always control when these things will happen, but we can help ourselves be open to the opportunities, you know?
2023 was tough, especially for AMD GPUs, but I was mining the whole year with RTX 4090 and 4070 Ti. Two months ago I also started mining with the RX 5700 XT rigs, I hope RX 570 will also be on profit in 2024. Greetings from EU. 😊
In 2023 I mostly upgraded my power and ventilation setup and buying cheap mining supplies but in the last few months I have started turning rigs back on. I can't wait to see what 2024 brings us. I am sticking with 30 series, 5k and 6k series gpus. I am waiting to see if my box of 570s that have paid for themselves over and over again will give a little more. lol
You know, I kept talking 40 series, but never pulled the trigger, you and Panda are right. I keep seeing better opportunities for cheaper hashrate. I may have been skipping 40 series without even realizing it, if that makes sense.

I have changed my strategy a lot in 2023. I sold the 10 x 3070TI cards and started SIA mining with asic machines instead. In addition to sia, I also mine BTC with an s17+. I plan to buy an s21 before the price goes up. EU miner here, Happy New Year Panda!
