If you can discipline yourself to do core training before your surgery and if necessary, weight loss helps healing as well. I haven’t had any surgery but my sister did and she did everything. Her doctor told her to do and that was one of the things that he highly recommended core strengthening, and to lose weight before her procedure, and it really helps the healing process
Doc you are simply AMAAAAAZING with the detailed information. That was extremely insightful and helpful! Blessings 🙏. Thank you very kindly for your time in these matters ❤
I just had extended tummy tuck 49ers ago and now I have bumps forming along the incision with these white plastic little things trying to come out this same thing v happened to me when I had breast reduction
Thank for this! I am 13 months post extended TT with muscle repair. My upper abdomen feels like one big rubberband. The only time it feels normal is when I wake up or if it is compressed. I bet I need to lose some weight but the hardness and tightness (rubberband feeling) seems like a separate issue. What could I try?
Hi Dr. Nwubah, I had a tummy tuck 1/8/24 my results are amazing except for lumps on the right side of my incision. I'm using silicon gel I will be purchasing the patches soon. Could you do a video on what could or should be done after 6mo or 1yr if no change? Thank you in advance
Thanks for sharing. I'm 10 months post op and I'm experiencing upper and lower (underneath my incision) swelling and tightness. I'm going to start working out to strengthen my core to see if this helps.
I had a domino plasty done on the 11th of this year and I am 3 1/2 weeks out from surgery. I still have a purge in it. Part of my stomach. I’m still sore and I’m healing up really good. I feel real good. I’m still sore. Still hurts. I had hip and hip And down mellow my stomach and he tightened the lower muscles and I was wondering why do I still have this podge? Was it worth getting it done and swollen? I’m just kind of confused and I don’t wanna be bother. It’s like you said incisions not perfect, but I’m just, wondering will this pudginess go down? I’m using my compressions.

Where is this Dr located?
And that’s what I’m doing now. Trying to lose the weight!

I would just contact your surgeon about this and be seen in person.

I would definitely check in with your surgeon about this and also just for reassurance
