The only thing I can surmise regarding why someone wouldn't want to go through the lengthy process of a plastic surgery residency vs a short certification is greed 🤷🏾‍♀️ They want to make a quick buck and would rather not spend the time, nor the money on a residency program. That in and of itself is scary, and I wouldn't want someone with that mindset touching me with a ten foot pole.

This can be life changing. How many women have to work around these insecurities? We should all enjoy the time god has given to us and enjoy our bodies. Some may think its skin deep, but when it affects your quality of life, this is legitimate healing. And for those who disagree, i hope we can all agree that this is a legitimate artform intertwined with science and psychology. I know these women felt so excited to wear the things she didnt feel okay wearing before. The confidence in yourself could be a catalyst for healing. My personal favorite part is that you listen to your patients and tailor the treatment to their needs. Not every doctor listens. Its SO important to feel heard. Thank you for sharing your work! Youre an artist...your work is incredible. And the long lasting mental efffects of feeling comfortable in your own skin is a testiment to the care you provide. A lot of people look down on plastic surgery. Ive never been in a position to pursue cosmetic surgeries, and thats okay, too! Of course, the care given to this lovely woman after her battle with illness is absolutely wonderful. My heart is so happy for her. Plastic surgery can be valid in so many cases, even in spite of others believing its not valid. even men and women who are battling internal struggle with correcting things unrelated to extreme weight loss, injury, or illness is just as valid. Without the mind, who are we? How you feel mentally has A LOT of weight. Some say mental pain can be more painful than physical pain sometimes. Treatment is valid. Feeling comfortable in your own skin is very important. No one should suffer just because some people look down on cosmetic surgery. Especially if they dont HAVE to suffer. there is no need for unneeded human suffering. Of course, moderation and doing what is healthy for both mind and body is SO important, when it comes to elective surgeries. But as a woman, to look in the mirror (or avoid the mirror) because what you see is painful to you, is a valid reason to seek help. If i could, i would go back to the body (or close to it) i had before something bad happened to me and i kept my baby. I look in the mirror and see something i cant recognize. I would try to do something about my surgery scars from illness. And i am so happy for men and women who can heal through the journey of ending a chapter of pain, and being able to continue on in a happy way. This is not just "cosmetic". Sometimes, its a means of reclaiming who you are. Ending a painful chapter of your life. Starting a new chapter where you feel comfortable and confident. Even if you just want to look better, its still justified. As long as this is a mental and physically healthy decision for the individual, i support it. Youre so kind, your personality is 🔥. Youre intelligent. You carry yourself with class. Youre a role model. You show you can pursue dreams while still being a mother and wife...you never let anything stop you.
