      isn’t it so unbelievably weird how you can spend your whole life wrapped up in this anxiety/depression stuff and then suddenly be on the outside of it. It totally defines your “normal” for so many years. I can’t believe I managed to live that way for so long. It’s bittersweet of course, i think of all the suffering i could’ve evaded had i got the proper help earlier, but at the same time i’m really proud of the strength and tenacity I had to endure that seemingly insurmountable burden✨ Do you think about it like that too? Of course i still have bad days, but what we went through was like the video game of life with the difficulty turned up to 11. 😮‍💨

      @@Atypicalkid88 it’s worked great. Btw I also started Prozac and researched it a lot. It’s the most activating and stimulating ssri, right up there with Wellbutrin. Maybe talk to your doctor about adjusting to a different dose and try to give it time to work. Combing Prozac and Wellbutrin should be good, as both have stimulating effects. At the same time I know everyone’s experience is different. Anyways, Wellbutrin is a God send. I pray it works for you!

    Thanks for doing this video. Have very similar symptoms as you. Nearly identical besides bad anxiety. Only manageable anxiety brought on from warranted situations. I’m on my 3rd day on this medicine and just a few hrs ago I noticed I started feeling that anxiety that makes me shake when I yawn and my body feels like it vibrates on a cellular level with hot blood flowing through it. It’s a 6 out of 10. The good thing is that I know I’m feeling like this because of the medicine and no other real problem I have to tackle. I hope this anxiety goes away though and gets replaced by a more positive happier life outlook. I was in a dark place a month ago, for no specific reason. Hey Robert, I don’t know ya but I’m really glad you’re feeling better, your video was very informative and funny and light but educational and it’s good to know I’m not the only person on earth that feels like it do with no one to turn to. Thank you so much for your comments and feedback!✨ How is your buspar journey going? The buspar combo with wellbutrin has worked well for me. My recommendation (if you decide to go this route) is to introduce the Wellbutrin once you’ve got about a month or more experience with the Buspar. The wellbutrin comes in kinda hot and its nice to have the buspar in your system to smooth out the bumps. Wellbutrin gives you energy but it also makes you a lil anxious. At least it did for me! Sounds like you’re doing a great job hanging in there. I’ll never fully understand why but it seems like 4 weeks is a magic number with this stuff✨I wish you all the best. feel free to ask questions and keep me up to date on your progress!

      @@robertmakesashow7089 thanks for your reply! I’m still doing well with buspar and it’s been a little over 2 weeks and I’ve noticed some improvement so she bumped up my dosage a tad and then we’ll reevaluate in a month to see how I’m doing if I’ll need to add the Wellbutrin! So I will say no complaints at all so far and honestly i don’t seem to have any side effects other than I sleep like a rock which I guess is more positive and not a side effects at all😂

I feel some calming effects and has slowed my pace. but today I felt a bit uncomfortable like how marijuana makes me feel, except with no high. That was no fun. I normally am standing and walking around my house thinking of everything I have to do, while accomplishing nothing. I find myself sitting! Also I keep forgetting what I was doing or about to say. The initial release was not as promising as they hoped, just too potent, people were probably just ripping their clothes off and jumping out of windows. this stuff can be intense. but then they released the extended release and then the drug really hit its stride. it’s one of the highest prescribed drugs, in the top 20 now i believe. In the top 3 antidepressants.

      Hey! i’m glad it’s been a positive experience. i’ll definitely make another buspirone video! I’m still taking just 10mg a day. i thought about upping my dose, but I stayed at 10mg. My psych tries to avoid upping it if she can. i’m not a medical professional so my opinion means absolutely nothinggg, but i noticed at around week 4 the med had it’s best effects, so maybe hang around this dose until then and then maybe you can decide to up the dose. i feel like you can always up the dose but coming back down is slightly more difficult. i wish you all the best!

      It was really hard to say cuz at the time I had really long hair and it did seem like it was thinning out. But honestly, I’m still on it and all the thinning that i believed I was having all seemed to grow back in. My hair feels just about the same as it’s always been and I’ve been on it for years now. Also know this, if you stop the drug, the hair thinning should reverse itself. So you can always change your mind! I’m not a medical expert but that is what I have read! I WOULD say that if you have the free time and no pressing engagements or responsibilities in the next month and a half, you can talk with your psychiatrist and see what they think. Ssris are pretty similar enough so you could first start with adding the buspar and then when that balances add the wellbutrin. IM NO EXPERT but perhaps chat with your people about it. buspar is the most user friendly i think. Good luck and thanks again for your comment✨✨✨

It does make you feel wired for awhile. But it shouldn’t be unbearable, trading in depression for debilitating anxiety is no bueno. Xanax is powerful stuff so i’m sure it will work but be careful with it. I wish you the very best and keep me posted on your progress! How does Wellbutrin feel compared to adderall/stimulants?
    I have ADD and anxiety/depression, and have been on stimulants for a decade.
    Now, the side effects of adderrall-horrible anxiety, overactive CNS, etc- have gotten really bad for me, and I am trying to stop adderall.
    Adderall has become way too intense for me even at a low dose, and is wreaking havoc on my body and causing dealt bad anxiety every day.
    My doc suggested Wellbutrin. I am concerned that it will feel just like adderall, with all the similar side effects I am trying to get away from.
    Can someone advise me on this? Does Wellbutrin feel at all similar to adderall in this regard?
    I don’t want another med that causes increased anxiety.

    • @robertmakesashow7089

      Wellbutrin is a stimulant for sure. It’s even used off label for ADHD! It does aggravate anxiety for sure, I take wellbutrin but if i wasn’t also on Buspar i think it’d be a lot harder for me.
      I took adderall once and thought i was having a heart attack. wellbutrin was gentler for me at least. It doesn’t work great for focus and ADHD in the long term i find, but it is a integral part of my medication routine.

    Hi👋🏽 I have severe, clinical depression. I've been struggling with it for almost 20 years, since I was 14. I've taken almost every SSRI and SNRI anti-depressant and they would work for a very short time. Has Wellbutrin helped your depression and restored your willpower? I have no will and energy for anything. I am currently taking Paxil 30mg for five days. After how long did you notice the first positive changes? Did you take 150 or 300mg? Thank you

    • @robertmakesashow7089

      👋 Hi! Still on 150mg XL. With Wellbutrin I felt positive effects dang near immediately as per my experience in the video, but It does really mess with your sleep and kinda messes with your anxiety as well in the beginning. Didn’t really level out until the 3rd month. starting a new SSRI so it’s going to be very hard to tell how the wellbutrin is doing cuz that Paxil is going to mess you up for at least 3 months! After that it’ll likely be totally worth it though. I’m curious what you mean by SSRI working for a “very short time” In my experience The SSRI doesn’t even really start doing its job properly until about 3 months of consistent use without dose changes, that’s when it starts to work then slowly gets better and more stable by month 5 you’re now in the flow. Again, not a health professional but that was my experience. in that 5 month period there are times where it works well and times when it doesn’t seem to be doing anything, and times when you feel like it’s working against you, but I didn’t really know how it would consistently impact my life until month 5. My SSRI Zoloft was probably one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done. I’m currently into my 3rd year on it at the minimal dose and I can’t remember the last time i had a side effect, I think at this point it’s actually very subtle but I dig it😌 I’m on a mix of meds so it’s hard to say what is doing what but my will power got stronger with just lots of time of working on myself. thanks for your comment!!!

I've recently been off of it now for 8 months and am considering going back on due to the lack of focus, energy, sadness and weight gain. But long term the issues I had were an increase in my anxiety and irritability (however I think my job was the biggest culprit of this and not necessarily the medicine).

      At first it sorta lowered my libido, I was also felt so incredibly tired so that played a part. But the libido returned after a few months if not less. I’m only on a very minimum dose and I like to keep it that way. Orgasms took a bit longer but not a terrible thing. Libido is completely back. I also lift weights 2-3 times a week and eat incredibly clean and I think that has a lot to do with it as well. On top of that taking a small dose really limits the extent of the side effects.

    • @robertmakesashow7089
      @robertmakesashow7089  Год назад

      It’s definitely difficult to say, i definitely spend very little time socializing but am personally starting to realize that this is my personality. I basically want to be by myself and read 99% of the time. I have had a kind of avoidant personality disorder but i think my antianxiety and antidepressants did more for that than my bupropion but it is again hard to say. I’m definitely a more self confident in my abilities around people (still struggle with other insecurities) which is basically the crux of avpd. My buspar and zoloft to a lesser degree was helpful. I take very very low doses of these, started with the buspar and after half a year moved into zoloft. Zoloft was a tough adjustment but interestingly i’m not really afraid of people so much but I still do very little socially 😅 I think if there is stuff that you still enjoy, even if that means video games or watching shows or searching interesting stuff on reddit you just might be more introverted and less struggling with anhedonia. With that being said, i’m still very fortunate for my meds, workout routine and diet.

    • @robertmakesashow7089
      @robertmakesashow7089  8 месяцев назад +3

      Very very good and important question. The answer is DEPENDS! Technically no. Wellbutrin especially in high levels can raise your seizure threshold which is awful. Now that is what you’re supposed to do and what me and everyone will advise you to do. for me personally speaking as a non-professional medical person, not drinking on this drug isn’t exactly realistic. for me in the beginning probably for 3 to 4 months I didn’t want to risk it. In fact, there are family members in my family who have epilepsy, and I wasn’t exactly really interested with dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight. however around the five month mark I didn’t have any more side effects and I felt like my body had adjusted to the medication. I decided to have one to two drinks and anecdotally. Everything was fine. again, that’s my nonprofessional opinion to this day. I’m not really a big drinker. I usually have that two drinks max and have had no negative experiences. With that being said talk with your doctor. 😌✨✨✨ thanks for the comment and the excellent question!

      @@jabrokneetoeknee6448 not sure. We broke up after she quit the drug cold turkey, started hallucinating and her whole personality became cold and cut off. She blamed me for all her issues and became more reckless and untrustworthy. Terrible having someone you loved change in an instant into something unrecognizable. She had many exes before me. Two kids from two different men. I was her longest relationship just over 1 years, I can see why now. Her mom is bipolar and I really think she is too.

      @@robertmakesashow7089 thank you. It’s been a tough few months after our break up. Right after my grandfather died she blamed me for all her issues. Hurtful thing to hear and hold on to. I’ve also been dealing with Lyme disease, just diagnosed, and the stress of all this has worn me down. Starting to feel better with treatment. I really think she is bipolar. I don’t know how else to explain her behavior. I miss her two boys very much and hope she eventually finds real help.

      My experience is that I get intoxicated with much less alcohol. I am 62 and been drinking my whole adult life, I am no lightweight. If you are going to drink I recommend trying it at home before going to a bar or restaurant. For me drinking is not as fun as it used to be, so I drink much less so I guess it’s a good thing. Hope this helps, good luck be careful.

      I was not severely nauseous on wellbutrin, i’m not sure if it’s a common effect but all oral medication run the risk of GI effects including nausea. Try taking it with food and consistently. Make sure you’re not having any allergic reactions like itchyness, rash, any inflammation. Consult your doc, cuz i’m just some dude on the internet :)

      I’m still on it! Same dose 150 xl . It’s working for me! My sleep issues are loooong gone thankfully but I’m also currently taking just a lil melatonin before bed 2mg 30 mins before bed. I’m pretty sensitive to meds I guess but I don’t really believe in upping the dose, It’s a crutch but not a wheelchair I just want to use it as support. This is of course my personal opinion which few people share. I also exercise, sleep as best I can, and eating super clean (gluten free and dairy free which few people can do but honestly it’s my secret weapon) The sleep issue was really annoying at first but it really does go away and doesn’t affect my sleep at all. Sorry for this super long rant, thank you so much for your comment!! It really made my day! I hope you’re doing well, lemme know if you’re on the wellbutrin and if it’s working for you!✨✨✨ thanks again🙏

    Can wellbutrin for anhedonia?

    • @robertmakesashow7089
      @robertmakesashow7089  Год назад

      I think Wellbutrin is probably the best suited for anhedonia in my very non clinical opinion. If you have really bad sucidality or mania/hypo mania I’d definitely be careful and consult your doctor. I think anhedonia can sometimes be an effect of the underlying anxiety or depression. Getting my anxiety down certainly helped by anhedonia. Though I am coming to terms with my desire to do very little as my personality and not so much my depression or anhedonia.

      @@robertmakesashow7089 Are you still taking bupropion? Unfortunately it seems that in Indonesia it is rarely used, because it is not popular. In addition, it may not be borne by the state. I thought anhedonia, difficulty speaking, slow speech like confused people hindered me, I thought was it due to a lack of dopamine?
