- I'm getting my house ready for spring and each day I am working on new projects to make our home Spring ready. This video is about how to make a carrot out of tulips, how to make quick DIY cloches with items you might have at home, and an enclose porch makeover update.

I just got around to watching your ghost video. I have so many of the same experiences in our old house. People who knew this house from years ago won't even come in. I used to be afraid to walk around at night, but now just accept they are here.

I always get inspired by your decoration ideas. Looking at your table I remembered I have a white ceramic rabbit that I got a couple years ago and forgot about it. I found it and put it on a white plate to sort of resemble yours. Thanks so much for the inspiration and for both videos.

I think 🤔 it would look beautiful and would give you more cabinet and counter space by where you have Willows dog dishes 🦮 If you would put the glass cabinets and counter with cabinets there to 😊
We actually removed a floor to ceiling cabinet from that wall due to it visually blocking and somewhat physically blocking the new walkway path. a small table might go there in the future or the green hutch we have.

I love the little vignette you created on your kitchen counter with the egg topiary. The cloche idea is amazing, I only own one cloche but have some glass hurricanes etc I can use. Thank you for all the ideas🌷🌷🌷

Love the tulip swag. And the sunroom is so cute and cozy! I could see two peg racks on either side of the hutch, with a hanging garden apron, gloves, a straw hat maybe a wall basket with some twigs or dried flowers a few old vintage hand tools. My mind goes crazy woth ideas when I see a space. You must be having a ball.

We’ll just call it a heritage carrot 🥕 they come in all different colors. It turned out super cute! You can cut the bottoms off of milk cartons and juice bottles to use a cheap ugly cloches. The porch room is going to be an enjoyable place to hang out. You’ve lived at Sugarwood for about 18 months now? You’ve made a lot of progress in a short time, it looks fantastic!

I have always enjoyed watching you craft. I still love the idea of the leaf garland you made at your last house. Great idea. I tried my hand at a tulip wreath. But just couldn't get the shape right.

Your 🥕 is so cute on the door! I wouldn’t even mind that it wasn’t orange. I have several cloches, but I can’t ever think of something to put under them. I have a huge one made to put over an outside plant.

Very cute and there are yellow carrots so keeping it yellow would be great. It would be cute to make a real carrot bunch and hang them from your trees for the deer…Just a though

Hi Joyce, I went with the faux soap stone due to the fact there is an old soap stone quarry several miles away from our home. Just paying homage to it and what used to be used a long time ago.

GREAT video as usual Linda.....LOVE the location of your Wire Urn Stands on the Back Porch @ the Door Entrance - just the PERFECT spot - WOW! Have you thought about PAINTING your Hutch so it pops abit more from the new White Wall ??? All of a sudden I saw Mossy Green or BLACK (they say every room should have a touch of BLACK to rest the eye. I believe I heard that on Decor show on HGTV in the late 1990's).....or even your Colonial Blue Gray color that you painted the Family Room Bookcases??! Just a thought! P.S. Enjoyed your notes from your Ghost Journal....definitely something going on at the prior home and outside at Sugar Maple....

Love the carrot! Does your lavender winter over well? I live in western PA and my lavender never survives! I buy new lavender every spring!
It did very very well in my last home, I will be seeing how it does for the first time this year! I was surprised there was no lavender planted so I added some.
