- Many times I'm out working in the woods solo, but today Ben and I headed out into the woods to take care of some leaning trees. After that, we made a couple fires (the wood stove and a fireplace) and enjoyed a relaxing and cozy moment at home. He watched some golf and I did a little decorating.

Hi Linda, Fun watching Willow run in the woods while Ben took down some trees. Your tree is lovely with the old bottles and the new sea glass color ornaments. Beautiful wintry day in your gorgeous surroundings. The change of plans, e.g. electrician, writing cards, often happens to all of us even the most organized like you! Drinking coffee in a brightly room is such a comforting small joy!

Our son owns 40 acres of land in the Southern tier. He also has a cabin and a rig similar to yours. Every Autumn our family does a “Fall Fest”weekend….. and every year he takes me for a ride to see the property. It’s a very favorite time.

The woods are so peaceful, looking in between all the trees. Loved the snow falling it's so peaceful and quiet when it falls. The Christmas tree is lovely with the ice blue balls and tincile. Good job.
I decorated ours in ice blue, navy, and gold balls this year. Usually red and gold, or all gold and silver with rose gold, but I needed a change.

I miss seeing the snow since we moved from Pennsylvania to Arizona, but my husband says he definitely doesn’t miss shoveling and snow blowing. In fact, he left our big snowblower with the house when we moved. I hope the new homeowners appreciated that gift! lol it’s so wonderful to see Willow bounding through the woods with her toy. Willow is very good,my 2 dogs constantly bark if anyone is here, on Thursday we have a company coming as we have rising damp in my back hallway. My dogs will bark all the time no matter what I do or say. Your home is beautiful xx
