For my situation, my company address is in Mississippi but I’m be booking loads at Memphis or Birmingham (MS to Bham is 1 hour 45 min) . Let just say I have a load coming out of Birmingham to Atl (drive approximately 2 hours 30 minutes). Can I use paper driver log to keep track of my load time for free or I have to buy an eld system even though I’m doing short haul? Amazon Relay!
If your local and doing only 150 air miles away from yard in any given direction you don’t need any logs at all

No sir I’m an Owner Operator but my truck was down for like 7 months so I had to be a company driver for a while to keep the income going
