Try saying that when you quit trucking and now it’s hard to pay for food and housing and provide for your family. You will think twice before quitting trucking

@Patrickstarrrrr69 welding and electrician = need about 6 months of collage just to even have a chance of making good money. Excavations= hard job to get into , most guys don’t quit because it’s a job by seniority . Very hard to get a job like that, and ones that pays as much as trucking. Plumbing is one exception if your willing to get dirty if your not a new house plumber . And plumbing don’t always pay good. Trucking is one career where you can get your license and get good pay for the most part , even as company driver.
@Patrickstarrrrr69 also to add it will be had to get any good paying job when you quit trucking . Most likely you would be stuck at $15 an hour which in these days that’s like getting paid $7.25 an hour

Europe trucks have this system/design for almost 10 years now. USA is sto behind on bringing those tech and design. These are not buttons. These are actual break knobs but different designs.

You knew they were talking about Jake brakes. You can avoid using Jake brakes for residential areas. That sign was not on a long steep grade. You are rude.
You are rude, I have been in situations when I had to use my Jake break in a quiet zone. Just because that sign is in a flat area doesn’t mean there is a huge hill a few block after the sign

After a little bit of research the headlights are from the 2007-2008 Kia Sorento so I think that was the original model but now it’s one of a kind 😊

I live next to a creamery that also processe grain we get semis at wvery hour and alot of them use the jakebrake and its never bothered me and i live on the main road they take to come into the creamery AND i live next to a fairly large highway so we get semis on there all the time and you always hear the jakebrake but like dude said id rather be annoyed at the jakebrake for 10 seconds than have to patch a god damn semi sized hole in my house if they arnt able to stop in time

It doesn’t close the air intake valve, it affects the exhaust valve timing. If you are going fast enough that you have to use a Jake brake in a residential area to avoid crashing, you need you CDL revoked.

Most places a trucker does not nees to use the jake brake. It is only really needed on a decent downhill grade. Most trucker use them because they are in too much of a hurry.

Tell that to RUclips for my choice. Because if I choose a different background music my video will be demonetized because RUclips will flag it for music. And I currently can’t afford a program that will give me copyright free music or somehow make music copyright free.

Driver always a driver. I've been driving my 2016 for almost 2 years. Yes, I removed a lot of stupid stuff. I cut off the lane camera. Disconnect that stupid wire that will ding ding when the door is open when park break is released. Removed the passenger cabinet. Dumped the passenger seat. Threw away the old pair headlight and replaced it with the best led HL. Insulated the entire Cab. Intalled solar panel. Swaped out the junk lead acid batteries with AGM31. Have a honda EU3000is inside a box behind the Cab. Installed a fantastic fan. and much more.. The truck runs great. No oil leak. No missing oil. You're having problems with the truck is because it has not been taken care of propertly. It's not your truck so don't complain.
It’s the worst riding truck ever!!! Take a seat in a 99 Freightliner Classic XL and it’s a day and night difference in the bumps. The new trucks are trash on ride, feels like turbulence for 11 hours of your drive
