      Jay Sagét to me I think they were better with Williams. Bibby just came after the team jelled together for 2 years. When Bibby got hot he got hot. When Will aim got hot the whole team got hot and the Arena went beserk!!!! That team identity came from Williams. Adelamen shackled Williams. Bibby was very good though. Williams was just better at making his teammates better.

    Barkley said it best on Open Court.
    He said that Webb went to Golden state who never won, and they won, went to Washington who never won and they began winning, went to Sac and really won. He’s an absolute game-changer on the floor. His passing is so underrated when compared to the other PF’s and C’s in his era. Especially compared to the guards as well. His offensive game wasn’t the flashiest, but he knew how to move the ball and create for others, and definitely knew when to take control and get his team the win.
    He needs to be in the HOF.

    • @kenjordan9479
      @kenjordan9479 Год назад

      He is in the HOF, too pretty to play close to the basket as he should have. Always crying about Karl Malone and other “4”s being too tough for him. Only played for the Warriors one year with Mullin and Sprewell and then sank the franchise. Killed coaches from then on except for Adelman. Would have preferred the WNBA.

    • @BWalker9313
      @BWalker9313 Год назад

      @@kenjordan9479 did you not notice I posted this comment 2 years ago? He wasn’t in the HOF 2 years ago.
      You’re saying he should’ve been in the WNBA but yet he’s a HOF’er in the NBA. You know damn well if they didn’t get screwed in 02’ that Kings team would’ve beaten LA and would’ve beaten the Nets. So keep hating I guess

    C-Webb.... 100% deserves and needs to be in the hall of fame... consistency getting 20 pts and 10 reb not to mention 4 or 5 ast. Those numbers are good enough for hall of fame. Plus he helped change the way big men play. Chris didn’t just post up he could shoot, pass and dribble. Definitely hall of fame worthy.

    • @well.thy.one.
      @well.thy.one. 5 лет назад

      Brandon A quite a bit of steals and blocks too...if he was 80%+ from the line he woulda been a little more dangerous and effective tho.
      Free throws might even be a fairly underrated stat in that they can instill or remove a little bit of confidence in shooting touch or even other game elements if a guy is making or missing them.

    Good shit bro. I was just having this conversation last week. Webber is severely underrated. T-Mac was talented, but he didn't have a 1st ballot HOF career. Webber did. He also should've been named to at least 3 to 4 more all star teams. From his rookie season, every single team that he played for was enhanced by his contributions.

  • @STONESGAM
    @STONESGAM 4 года назад +1

    Agreed. Webber is underrated because people remember him for calling that "timeout" in the NCAA tourney and being involved in taking money in College.
    The bottom line is he was a standout on a team of standouts in college and was great in the NBA too. He played in a small market in the NBA on a team that shared the ball and played great team ball. If the refs hadn't given that Western Conf finals to the Lakers with the shady officiating he'd be an NBA champ and already in the HOF.

    Ask any Sacramento kings fan of the early 2000's who their star player was....
    Then ask if they thought that star player would be in the Hall of Fame...
    If Karl Malone and the Jazz were on the verge of beating the Chicago bulls, (in a potential game 7)
    then think how close Chris Webber got by almost beating the Lakers (in game 6/7)
    I always thought Chris was the successor to Malone, eventhough their style is quite different.

    Lol same reason Giannis gets no love. Same reason Boogie had to average about 30 ppg and 11 rebounds to be considered the best big in the game and nobody gave a shit when he had BACK TO BACK 20+/20+/10+ triple doubles.
    He didn't play in LA, NY, GS, Miami, Houston, etc.

    • @nikosfotidas5125
      @nikosfotidas5125 7 лет назад +2

      Giannis will get the love he deserves... just because in the future his numbers will be so ridiculous that the NBA won't be able to ignore him... What he did this year is LEGENDARY... top 20 in all statistical categories at the age of 22!!! While no one has ever done it in the history of the NBA at ANY AGE...
      But don't worry... our kid won't stay there... he's gonna work his ass off even more and get even better numbers... he's gonna be no.1 in the world...

    • @Shakshuka69
      @Shakshuka69 7 лет назад

      Nikos Fotidas haha I'm a Kings fan myself (even post-Boogie trade) and I started loving Giannis a couple years ago when he tackled bitch ass Mike Dunleavey (fuck that guy). But he's really amazing. Kawhi gets a lot of credit for being the best 2-way player in the game, but there aren't many guys that can lock down all 5 positions on defense and Giannis is definitely one of them. As soon as he gets his jumper a little more solid and becomes a vet as far as ball IQ, (he still makes rookie mistakes some times) he will become so dominant that nobody will be able to ignore him.

    C. Webb had to match up with TRUE centers back in the days that Dirk, KG, & Tim didn't. & even with his injuries, all of his career stats are higher than all 3 of the above, & he should have at least 1 ring. He deserves to be in the HOF as much as they do. Glad to see Sir Charles called out the HOF on C. Webb not being inducted yet, & despite their beef, so has Jalen Rose. Hopefully next season he'll get his long over due respect.

    7- Kevin Garnett
    6- Karl Malone
    5- C-Webb
    4- Barkely
    3- Bob Petit
    2- Dirk
    1- Tim Duncan
    Amin said something on the Jump that was so real, C-Webb went to places and they got better or worse based on where he left or went. Like he left GS and they got worse, he leaves washington for Mitch Richmond and washington gets worse and the Kings get better and when he got too old and injured the kings drop him and they still havented recovered. The thing that sticks out is the Rock mitch richmond is in the HOF but C-webb isnt.

    Do you think you could release your TOP50 or even TOP100 ever?
    Like in sections you know. 10 spots for each video.
    i think we should start mentioning some other players besides the well known top10
    C- Webb is a great example

    Yo, is your first name Dijon? What type of mustard do you prefer? Anyway, I believe that sooner or later Chris will be in the HOF. It could be next year, the year after that, or two years from now. We got to believe that everyone will recognize what he did on the court or it will be a shame that a talent like his will not be remembered in the future.
