Always respected Rods game!
The modern mold of what PGs should be really screws guys that did their job, in the era that they played, out of recognition and HoF consideration. The dude is top 10 in assists in an era where PGs were judged based on assists and steals and you never hear anyone talk about him.
Rod Strickland was tough for sure.Him and Andre Miller are both underrated.
And Jason Williams too fo show
No. He was flashy, but not much more. Didn't play good situational basketball, was careless, although deserved to make the All-NBA Entertainment Team.
Him and Chris Jackson. Chris was putting in work in the "Big 3" this pass summer.
I really enjoyed this. Thanks for posting!
Here from Tracy’s comments lol
One of my favorite players to watch, elite handle
Kyrie studied his godfather
People think that, and he probably did to some extent...but Kyrie said he got it really from his dad.
Kyrie is more of a scoring PG like ISAIAH, Tiny Archibald but passes more than HARDEN or IVERSON...Rod like Mark Jackson, Rondo, J.Kidd, Stockton,Jason White chocolate WILLIAMS passed more...if he had a shot Like DAMIAN LILLARD,CP3, STEPH he would of definitely already be a HOF.
Should have made the ally star team at least twice. 95 when they put Dan Majerle in over him, and 98 when Penny made it without playing a game all year!
Thunder Dan was good, and I thought Avery Johnson was snubbed more than Rod Strickland in 95'.
Face PC Gaming, ill video. Great doc on this never selected for all-star player. He had the skills!
Miss watching RS11/1
Thank you.
Truly one of the best.

Thanks a lot my dude I truly appreciate that...Rod was that dude
Great job. Love how you have mixed the interviews with the footage. Very original style, very engaging.
One my my idols
He was an all-star to me,hands down,I don't care that he never got voted in. All of his peers knew how good he was, coaches too.
Saw him when he was a pro playing in the Bronx. He would come back and play in tournaments
Rod came up in the NYC point guard great era. 80$ NYC hs point guards. Pearl. Kenny Smith Ed Davender. Boo Harvey. Mark Jackson and Hot Rod at Truman H.S. Rod Strickland stayed the truth! Bad Rap followed him but he just put up numbers everywhere he went!!
Do a video on the late great Dwayne "Pearl" Washington from Syracuse!!! He didn't last long in the NBA, but he was another great NYC point guard who everyone use to talk about.
1 of the G.O.A.T. to never make an allstar team. Go figure!
kenny is killin me wit the hi-top
One of my favorite players.......Made some amazing shots while driving to the hole. Didn't have the best jump shot but was a very high IQ player.
Mo Cheeks Zeke and Rod Strickland my guys
mookeychase0907 mine too. I like rod Strickland, mo cheeks, skip to my lou, Jamaal tinsley, Isiah (zeke) Thomas from the pistons, and Jason Williams. Those are my favorite point guards. Real floor generals
gary payton all day.
Hard to guard Rod. All the nice niggaz knew he was nice. He went to CIS 229 in the Bronx. Kyrie Pops coached AAU in the bx every summer. The hood know whut time it is.
Ferraud Francis His brother Byron was nice too…
I watched him play in Mitchell's gym back in the day
Ferraud Francis - absolutely...game recognize game, true.
Ferraud Francis you sound like a fkn degenerate
& Still got his ass Robbed in SA broke his hand in the process
I use to see him at the night club very quiet guy!
I don’t know who this guy is but, he’ll probably be a star in today’s era of basketball
BX Stand up, Rod Strickland very underrated and alot of point guards new they had along night playing Stick.. Layup game was a 💯
