@@fun364 because one has something to do with basketball, and one does not.
If you do enough research on your sports heroes, you will often find they are disappointing people, often when relating to sex or family. You can bash Larry Bird for abandoning his daughter. You can criticize Julius Erving to allow his sons to wind up alcoholics and drug addicts. You can spend all day putting people in the dirt for their mistakes. But then you wouldn't have much of a Hall of Fame. If you want to evaporate Malone's basketball stats, then you might as well wipe out Stocktons since they were all associated with Karl. And I guess you take away two of Jordan's titles, because they happened against Karl....

Webber was probably the only 6’10 power forward that had finesse. He was a silky smooth player that made it look easy. I don’t think the scandal of his youth is the only reason he’s not in the HOF. He had good seasons in the NBA but nothing that really stood out like the winning the scoring title, MVP, leading the league in FG % or leading his team to a championship. Just being an all star isn’t good enough to get into the HOF. Damn I miss the NBA from the 90’s.

I believe that his college situation alone is the reason why he is not in the Hall of Fame; he got enough information on his NBA resume to be eligible. Can you do a story on Duke's great and 76'ers GM Elton Brand, Auburn's Human Highlight Film Chris Porter, and Jarrett Jack?

    Great video.
The college players are offered a 4 year full ride. People always either ignore that or minimize it.
If a player with a full ride blows out his knee on the first play in freshman year and career is over- they still get the full scholarship.

The fact this man is still punished for taking money as a 19 year old kid is pure and utter insanity.
NCAA players are legit treated as slaves, people are making billions off their talents but if they take 200 dollars from someone all of a sudden they're terrible human beings.

It's the basketball HOF. It's crazy that he isn't in it..Webber was ahead of the game..his ability at the 4, man, outside of injuries is up there with the elite..His commentary is trash though.. even without college his HS accomplishments, NBA accomplishments are enough.. the Timeout was crazy, but he traveled 1st. Always wondered how him and shaq would've worked together, their skill sets matched..

Props to him finally getting in. But Stunt #4 why it took so long: 2002 "Sacramento Queens." The way that squad choked. Just remember, STERN and DONOGHY were not on the back of Peja Stojakovic's jersey, when he shot that airball, in the closing seconds of game 7. Killed that whole team legacy.
