      @B Smoove you must not know basketball. Webber won 3 straight high-school state championships while being the best player every year. He won Mr Basketball in the state of Michigan in 90-91 and MVP of the McDonald's all American game. He was the best player on a team that started 5 freshman and played for back to back national titles while at same time merging hiphop and basketball on a televised level and became cultural icons in college.He was the #1 overall draft pick and rookie of the year. 5 time all star and had a 10 year run he was top 20 in points and top 10 in rebounds every year. Several deep runs in the playoffs with Sac while going head to head with other all time greats and playing showtime style ball that nobody had seen since Magic and the Lakers up to that point. You either too young to had witnessed Webber or just don't know basketball.

    His cultural impact with the Fab Five made a huge difference in allowing five freshman players to start in Division I college basketball. Sacramento was a franchise that was complete joke, until Webber came in and provided the foundation that made the Kings into title contenders.

    SO happy to see Chris Webber get into the Hall of Fame! They can't take this away! Just love how Chris speaks...like a poet/historian. CWebb definitely deserved this. He did right, and always stayed true to his convictions and morals. Thank you CWebb for always being a role model to many, and for always persevering. Life after Basketball has been good to you! Bless!

    of All Time. Finally C-Webb is in
    the HOF

    • @troytroy-rq7fd

      @Jumpball PH Name one outstanding accomplishment Webb did on the Court? I know what Pierce did for Boston, i know what Bosh did for Toronto & Miami. Webb is a great man off the court

    • @troytroy-rq7fd
      @troytroy-rq7fd 3 года назад

      @Chandra Gupta Bosh made Toronto relevant, he put up huge numbers for a mediocre team. No good players wanted to play for a Canadian team back then. When Bosh was on the Miami he was a very good 3rd choice player. Without him, the Heat might have won just 1 championship instead of 2.

    • @troytroy-rq7fd
      @troytroy-rq7fd 3 года назад

      @Chandra Gupta Bosh is a better version of AD. Bosh had less downtime than AD, he could spread the floor something that LBJ & Wade needed. Man you need to watch some videos of how that team played. Do I need to remind you of how him & Ray Allan saved the Heat from losing a championship game to the Spurs?

    • @troytroy-rq7fd
      @troytroy-rq7fd 3 года назад

      @Chandra Gupta Bosh is Toronto's all time leading rebounder and 3rd all time leading scorer

    • @troytroy-rq7fd
      @troytroy-rq7fd 3 года назад

      @Chandra Gupta Bro i can tell you have just started following basketball. Bosh played exactly like AD, check the highlights. AD hasnt proved or reached his full potential because of injuries. Availability trumps talent. AD COULD be great if he manages to overcome his injuries because he is talented. Why do you think LBJ decided to have Love in Cleveland? Because he thought Love was going to play just like Bosh. Bosh was so humble that he agreed to take the back seat & let LBJ lead. Why do u think LBJ & Wade like him so much?

      He did not, He got an offer under the table. A poor kid in a struggling home would not take that offer? They barely get by with scraps. But you would not understand that because you are probably privilege. "Offer" and "Take" are two different things.

    It was an honor to see how you played the game of basketball. You structured your life with very hard and demanding work in the craft of basketball. But whats most impressive is how your handling your life right now. With all your tools and knowledge of basketball and all the basketball players you have interviewed it is surreal in who easy it is for you to bring the best out of the person you interview. One Great example is your awesome interview with the Big O. You were so refined and on top of your game in that fabulous interview. Oscar is such a wonderful human being but you allowed him to be himself and that is one of the best interviews I have ever seen. You could see in Oscar's face how he loved being with you and talking about a favorite game to you and him. Congratulations in coming to the HOF! 🏀

    Congrats to Chris! More than deserved. Also, endless props to Isiah Thomas and every other player who offers themselves to later generations. Most players come into the league as kids. Big ass kids, but still kids. Mistakes are going to be made, and some otherwise gifted players never learn to deal with failure on that stage level. The OGs willing to be guides are invaluable.

    As a Detroiter and former high school basketball player who is the same age as C-Webb and who' saw him on the local news as a 7 the grade phenom this is a proud moment for our city. Chris Webber means everything to Detroit Basketball and contrary to the narrative that so many haters try to paint Webber is a true Detroiter, and the fact that he he won every basketball battle against all the hood cats in Detroit is the reason why he is truly a good king in Detroit but most importantly his wonderful parents did an incredible job of instilling class and humility in this brother. Congratulations C-Webb.
