@skeletorex you are not alone! I absolutely loved Chris Webber as a player, I looked up to him big time growing up! I wore his jersey to school once a week. His Sacramento jersey! I can still name the starting five to this day. I think the NBA kind of fell apart after about 04 maybe 06. After that I lost interest.

The most underrated player in nba history. People don't realize that we hardly ever got to see the real Chris Webber in the NBA due to injuries. He completely changed his game to more of a finesse player but before then he was like baby Shaq. Just dominant in the paint

You’re correct in that he changed his game to more of a finesse player. Which is puzzling because he was the quickest jumper as far as reaching peak height in his jump at his weight that I’ve ever seen. He should have stayed down low under the basket on offense scoring points there. When he started trying to play like a guard I thought it was the dumbest thing I’ve seen an nba player do. Amare Stoudemere style of play should have been his approach.

Webber will always be one of the best
power forwards around the NBA. The passes he made were nice to see, dunks he threw down were also incredible and overall he was just a true team player. Anytime an athlete with that big of a smile and positive attitude performs on the court you know why it's important to buy tickets to those games. I have always respected the personality
he brings on and off the court. His days with the Bullets were so good he had the greatest of all time Michael Jordan of the Bulls watching how he was about to finish off a play the same time MJ was on the same court competing against C Webb. Webber as a Wolverine in college; and King in the pros were two of his brightest moments. Even when he played in Golden State, Webber was dunking on every tall center including Dikembe Mutombo and power forwards like Charles Barkley.
On the Washington Bullets, Chris Webber
had plenty of remarkable highlights too. One reason why his story is so great is because every city he played in, franchises were built around him as the primary star. Plus it was my Mom's favorite player. Only places that didn't happen were with the Sixers and Detroit Pistons. And even then Webber
had the opportunity to play for two cities he loved.

@@Wyndamn Knee injury to Webber in playoffs vs the Mavs. Webber was never the same and neither were the The Kings. Opportunities can't be taken for granted

The Kings with Webber were special years. One night back then I was at a strip club but watching the Kings game on the big screen.

Not one video showed him his post up cross over hook shot. It was his grosses shot and if you play basketball it works almost everytime. Even on people that are way taller.

C Webb deserves to be in Hof. He was the best of in the league for a few years. It took Kobe and Shaq Lakers plus refs to beat the Kings. C dibs did everything that series. blade fouled out and he had to guard shaq
