    I have the full Pintop system from Carli with their radius arms and upper steering stabilizer and the difference is incredibly noticeable. It also allows one to run 37s with any issue at all. Very expensive but well worth the investment if you plan on keeping the truck for a very long time.

    Very good video. I agree, with the progressive front coils and the Deaver progressive rear leafs, Carli is the best. Wish you guys were closer to me. Not aware of a shop in Atlanta who understands and installs the kit.

    There’s a full progressive leaf spring option for the Commuter package for the Ford 05-07

    • @thoroffroadtx
      @thoroffroadtx  3 года назад

      Not sure if this is a question, but if it is, the answer is no there is not. Not technically offered till you get to the Pintop selection. Now saying that you can install a rear leaf pack on that truck, just know the reason it isn't offered. The rear springs activate a lot more than factory and will over work the shock so it is not recommended. Hope that helps! Jamey

    On a '23 F250, can i run a 35" tire with the backcountry system? Id like to go to a +12 offset wheel.

    • @thoroffroadtx
      @thoroffroadtx  10 месяцев назад

      On a 23 F250 you don't even need to lift the truck to run a 35" tire. but to anser the question, Yes yyou can. Just know 35" is only 1" bigger than the factory tire. So it is not a lot of change. We typically run 37" tires on leveled trucks. Unless you are towing a lot or have a clearance issue in your garage, we would recomend 37. But yes you can do it and happy to help with any parts or installation you need Jamey

    I have a 2020 F250 with Carli Commuter. The truck is my daily driver and I occasionally pull a travel trailer - but do some light off roading now and then. Would the add a pack make a noticeable difference in the overall ride - in my daily driving and on bumpy dirt roads? I’m debating the add a pack versus upgrading the shocks and going full leaf.

    • @thoroffroadtx
      @thoroffroadtx  2 года назад +2

      Yes it will make a substantial difference on your daily commute. Not as much off road if the rear springs are being activated a lot. So once the rear end is moved past the spring cycle of the add a pack it will act as stock springs would. But you will notice a much better ride on daily driving and small bumps.

    Would it be safe to say carli is for minimal heavy hauling and looks. But kelderman is for constant heavy hauling and looks?

    • @thoroffroadtx
      @thoroffroadtx  2 года назад +2

      I would probably word it as. Carli is for someone wanting the best ride quality and wheel travel, not intended for heavy towing. If it is heavy towing you do on a regular basis there are many options out there for that and Kelderman does an amazing job of exactly that , and the ride height adjustability for those who want to ride high!! So yes I agree with what you asked except add the Ride Quality change to Carli attributes, its what truly sets them apart!! Thanks for the question brother!!

    How does the Carli stuff do in corrosive environments? I live in MA and our roads are nasty.

    • @thoroffroadtx
      @thoroffroadtx  3 года назад

      I would probably not be the best to ask that as in Texas we do not have to deal with much your winter conditions, roads etc. But the powdercoat on the Carli parts are great and well done. Shocks will always be the weak link in corrosion. Something I've done in the past is ppf the shock bodies and try and protect them best as we can. Hard to beat the elements up there. Not sure I helped much, just don't have to deal with those conditions. Maybe Zack at Top Tier could answer that one. Thanks for reaching out! Jamey

      I'm not sure about the leafs and stuff, but the shocks are either aluminum or stainless steel, so those won't rust

      I too live in the Northeast (L.I.) and I also wondered what the Deaver spring packs and other Carli components would look like after a couple of our winters… and that’s when I googled “rusty Deaver spring packs” 🤦‍♂️

    Does this suspension increase payload n towing capacity?

    • @GR1MKA1
      @GR1MKA1 3 года назад +1

      No suspension will increase your payload or towing capacity, in fact lifting a truck will decrease these capacities. It isn't just suspension that is taken into account for those numbers

    • @34josias
      @34josias 3 года назад +1

      No, it actually decreases but I know for the Ram 3500 they have long travel airbags that increase back up. Not sure about Fords though, they have all the information on their website.

    • @freedomrider266
      @freedomrider266 3 года назад +1

      Unlike many other countries (Australia, South Africa, etc.), you cannot increase towing or payload on ANY vehicle in the US beyond it's manufactured numbers (whatever numbers it came from the factory with)...

    • @sergeantwolf8018
      @sergeantwolf8018 3 года назад +1

      You lose about 15% of your load and towing if you go for a full progressive leaf pack

    They need to make a rear coil conversion for the superduties. The leafs are old tech that needs to die.

    • @freedomrider266
      @freedomrider266 3 года назад

      Coils cannot tow as much, which is why Ford's 250s have better payload and towing than RAM 2500...

      @@freedomrider266 exactly and also perfect if you go for jumps. Coil just cant handle extreme abuse leaf springs can.
