I love all the tutorials but this is my favourite tutorial because it's the one that gave me the courage to try quilting for the first time. Thank you Jenny Doan!
I've learned so much from Jenny's videos. I've never have had official quilting class but feel like I have just by watching these videos! After watching Jenny's videos I always feel like what she has shown how to do, I can make it too! I love making preemie quilts for our local hospitals and making this quilts give me an perfect opportunity to try a new block without having any orphan blocks.
Jenny, I love this quilt. I learned so much from you. Thank you! I am looking forward to the next tutorial. I also want to add that your staff at the shop is the most helpful staff. I love you all.
I really can't get enough of Jenny and her demos, please keep up the excellent work.
Jenny, thanks for taking time to help us with our quilt making. You go girl!
Jenny, I'm a new quilter and want to tell you how much I appreciate your tutorials.
I'm ready to make your bordered squares quilt and am so thankful for your tips and tricks
on how to make quilting easier!
Jenny, I love all the tutorials you do. You always make what seems to be a complicated process into a project even beginners like me can understand and
accomplish. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I like to apply my sashing to the left and bottom of each square and then assemble, rather than trying to line up each square on a long piece of sashing. I don't recall which wonderful tutorial taught me the technique, and it was recommended for small blocks, but I use this method for large blocks too. Jenny you are the best!
thanx for the tip!!!!
I have now made two quilts using this method of applying the sashing! Thank you for sharing this very helpful tip. It made the job go smoothly without a lot of stress! Quilting should not be stressful ever!! Blessings to you.
Cat Di OK I just wrote the same thing and then checked if the idea was not mentioned in the comments before. It is the better way... you dont end up all wavy :)
I haven't heard of this before but think Ill give it a try next time - thanks for the tip
I do mine that way too, except I sew a strip to the top and right; then I add a strip to the left on the first block of each row. On the last row, I sew a bottom strip on the last block of each row. I then sew all together horizontally, and they go together beautifully.
A belated thank you for sharing this one Jenny! I have made use of this technique quite a few times now. The sashing sets off those pretty fabrics so nicely :D
I just love your easy, common sense tutorials.
I really love how clearly you explain techniques and how easy you make it all look. I love this quilt and will be making it soon. Thanks for sharing.
Just love to watch you at work, you are amazing when it comes to making quilts. Thanks for all your ideas. Thanks to you I have been able to do more from watching you in videos. Thanks for all the help.
Wondering why you say cut and flip after the first stage, instead of flipping, attaching the other side of the honeybun and then cut all in one?
I love all of Jenny's tutorials. They are all my favorites
jenny i just love you. watch your tutorials all day long. right now making 3 quilts from them. also made my own small ironing board

How is it that I missed this tutorial down the line?!?!? You gotta love the precuts and there's no better teacher out there than Jenny.!
Great
tutorial as usual! I just finished my 2 practice blocks and am chomping at the bit to do the entire quilt! This is perfect to make my quilt by doing the quilt as you go method!
I wish I could give this video triple thumbs up! One of the favorite methods I've seen so far. "I'd much rather pin than rip".. That's my new motto!
Jenny you are awesome!!! I learn so much watching your tutorials. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Just love your tutorials, you explain it so well that all levels of quilters can follow your instructions. I always admire your quilting on each quilt that is displayed, Everything you do is fantastic.
Thank you! I bought two charm packs and a matching jelly roll years ago. Nice to see an easy and pretty quilt using both types of precuts.
Thanks, Jenny, for reminding us to always sew with the sashing/binding on TOP! This will be a good quilt for my "kid's" quilts for Chrildren's Hosp. here in Knoxville! Thanks again for making it look so EASY!!!! You are the best!
Wow love this quilt, definitely going to make this one, Thank you Jenny :)
Such a fun and bright quilt! I love it!
Have you ever met a line of fabric that you did not think was "gorgeous"? ;-) I do love your tutorials. . . they give me a lot of inspiration.

Thank you for your generosity sharing your tips and tricks! I also do the same with rolling the fabric back to line up the sashing lines.
I love the way you give us tricks to make things come out right.
Thank you, Jenny, for making these beautiful quilts look so easy. Your tutorials are, by far, the best quilt tutorials on the web. I watch many but most are sadly lacking in details.
thanks Jenny for all the great tips you have really helped me with my quilting I learn something new at every tutorial!
I wish there was a way to give this video 5 thumbs up. I am an moderately experienced sewer but a beginner to quilting. This looks like one of the simplest to make quilts that I have seen. Great!

You make it look so easy!! You're a great instructor.
I would say this is my favorite quilt tutorial because it is a beautiful quilt and I will be making one of my own soon.
Jenny I always learn something new from your tutorials! RK honey buns?! Genius. I also never knew the sashing or border strips should be sewn on top. No wonder I have had problems with wavy borders!
Jenny, I suggest, don't cut apart until a strip is sewn to both sides. Less time messing with individual pieces. Speeds things up and there is less chance of dropping blocks in progress.
Love your tutorials!
Thanks for the great tutorials. I have a couple of friends who have just started quilting and these videos are great!
Thanks so much Jenny. Will use this technique when assembling angel blocks. Just more concise. Look forward to your tutorials and fabric selection
Thank you from the bottom of my pea picking heart for teaching us that little trick, how you line up the seams. Serious problem with me, so now I can go back and finish my quilt I had to stop making because of the non matching seams. Great tutorial miss Jeni!
I always learn so much when I watch your videos. Just love them. Cant wait to see you in Georgia at the Quilt show.
Such great advice on lining up the sashing. Thank you for another great tutorial!
Great tutorial! I do my sashing the same way. I do the whole row which is time consuming but so much better than ripping it out. Thanks again!
Sou sua fã! Lindo trabalho.
I had some beautiful Kaffe fabric I fell in love with... now I know what to do with it!

lo dicho eres toda una gran artista te felicito gracias por compartir tus videos
This is super cute. I framed novelty prints like this. Instead of going around the central square twice, but I sewed the two strips together (so in your pattern the jelly roll strip and the white narrow strip) and then sewed that around the center square.
Hey Jenny, I love this quilt so much I am making one too!!! Thank you for all of your tutorials!!! I will post a picture of my version on your FACEBOOK page. Have a great week!!!

I am almost done with mine. have to put the borders on, then it will be finished... Love doing this one
I know this is an old response but can you tell me how much yardage you used for each of the borders? She didn't tell us that.
Excelente, me encantan tus tutoriales y la verdad es que a pesar del idioma, entiendo muy bien, gracias
Jenny--the way I match up the sashings: Mark the edges of the bottom sashing, then match the top one to the marks! Just like when you match the sashing to corner posts, comes out every time. Love your videos, thanks. Carol
