We have recently started collecting the handbook of nature in colour. They have reprinted it in colour and separated it into 8 different books so that it is more easily transportable into nature.
We also got the picture book biography on Anna Comstock - I think it's called out of school and into Nature.

I had no idea they republished this in color. Now I must buy all the books. 🤪

Bird Whisperer, we just went through a bird book Prometheus saved from his childhood and we searched it for a book we hadn't noticed before. It was the white breasted nuthatch. It was so pretty! The Lego Gadget book looks great. Your son and mine have the engineering minds in common. =) He wants to find an old microwave to take apart. And my daughter told me my grandson wants Legos for his bday. I'll have to search for the Gadget book. And The Way Things Work also sounds perfect. LOL Fun video Chantelle (sp?)

Oh cool! It was actually a black capped chickadee on my hand but they look very similar to the nuthatch!
A microwave would be very cool to take apart! Ephraim will have to work his way up to that level.

@@IntentionalHomeschooling I'm sorry for the confusion. I meant that my son and I recently saw a white breasted nuthatch in our backyard and we had to look it up. We have Chickadees too, but it definitely wasn't that. It was our first time seeing a nuthatch in our neck of the woods. I'm looking forward to Ephraim's engineering growth. 👍

Ah, I see! I have no idea if we have nuthatches here. I'm going to have to look that up!
