- I've got another homeschooling day in the life for you today! We are unschoolers but both of my kids set some goals for the year so they each have a few things they want to get accomplished each day, thus we are currently unschoolers with a checklist. I hope you enjoy this unschooling ditl!

I’m so interested in unschooling right now, I’ve been devouring anything I can about it and decided to start watching day in the lives and yours was the first that popped up. I just ran across your channel and thoroughly enjoyed this video. I homeschool one grandson and help with some of the other grandchildren. We are at a different stage, as my grandson is in highschool, but I am always interested in seeing how other people do things and can usually find something that inspires me. Thanks so much for sharing.

That's a great idea! A person could also do stickers, there are so many potential variations of the game!

I've been filming little clips of the strewing for the last while, I plan on compiling it all into one video in the next few weeks!
That dot memory game is excellent! I think I'll create that for the next time my grandkids visit. =) What great a great headset! I want a pair. My youngest son loved Fantastic Mr. Fox when he was younger. He would aso talk in an English accent. Then when we moved back to Cali he spoke with a slight KY accent. Now he can imitate all types of accents. LOL

Ha, you did pretty good with the translations!
I love that about the accents! My son is good with accents too and picks up on other languages pretty quickly, I accredit that to the fact that he heard a different language for the first 18 months of his life and then learned English when we adopted him.

We foster so we're not allowed to show the faces or share the names online of our foster kids. 😊

How do you legally unschool them? I feel like this is something we do naturally but I'm forced to give an umbrella school curriculum.
I think its about finding the subject in what thier doing 🤔 im from Ct and about to try unschooling my 9 year old daughter
@@faithrose4440 I ask because this year I got a call from the umbrella school saying we did not have a certain subject written down... Like a book dedicated to math... Even though we did have a basic curriculum book with it in it. It was for my kinder! They wanted a heavy math book.
@@kiannbrowning4038 I will pray for you ! I feel blessed because here in Ct there are certain subjects that are needed but no regulation of anything .Your in a tricky situation. I swear it feels like America is turning into communist Russia. GOD BLESS YOU and your family
