Two thumbs up from the Hot Racing help desk! I am always looking for good instructional vids for our customers. I just subscribed and I look forward to seeing more from you. I expect that I will be sending viewers your way. Well done.
For my Kraton 4S the differential bearing gear appears to be too long and the motor won't click into place, is this something you also experienced? I had to go back to a stock diff because of this.
Awesome video . One question For a newb like myself. How do we know what viscosity differential fluid to run? I am not familiar with building diffs for different purposes in different vehicles. And I actually couldn't even find a factory recommended viscosity from Arma and the paperwork for my arrma granite 3s BLX I will be using 7000 CST silicone differential fluidas that is what was provided for me from the brick-and-mortar I gathered parts from. Is this appropriate for a rear diff in arrma 3s BLX granite with stock gearing mostly driving on loose terrain ?
Just a question please Does the truck need ATF 11A01 ? If I buy ATF 9337 PArt, or I can place ATF9337 in old diff case, thanks In advance, sorry my english
Well first put the gears in but leave out 1 of those middle gears that yo drive shaft is attached to.. then fill it up A little and rotate the gears then wait like 30min for it to set.. then fill it up about 2mm from being flush with the cup..
Thanks for the video! Have you done the rear diff?? I'm following your instructions but the pinion is too long and the motor/gear system can't go back into the car, almost broke my thumbs.. With the stock one it just fits perfectly. The front one is working great though.
I'm having the exact same problem! I have everything installed correctly, lubed up, but the motor mount just refuses to go any further and is about 2mm away from locking into place. It's almost like the input on the spur gear for the motor is too short, and it's not letting the pinion go all the way into the mount. Have you had any solutions?
@@affroking yep! I had to buy a dremel lol. I bought a dremel and a metal cutting tool, cut off the end MAYBE 1cm. It didn't take much at all, then the motor just popped right in! I've been running it like that for a while with no issues

As in there’s no cross pins as a guide or did I 😢

Dude, nice video but a shame you don't answer any questions asked
U don't need to use the old gasket
Why couldn't ya just carefully chop off the plastic heli gear from plastic housing and bolt on a metal gear?.....save alot of money if possible
