You are hilarious. No muss, no fuss. Sing all you like as long as it makes you happy. Subscribed.
I learned something about corners. If you sew to one stitch before turning, put your needle down, and take one stitch at a 45 degree angle, and then finish turning the corner, you don't have to fuss with all that zigzag. Just be sure to clip off the extra bulk. Is a bit more fussy, but actually takes less time because you don't have to go back and zigzag. However, it's certainly not as strong a corner, so I love the zigzag tip for something that's going to take a lot of wear and tear.

Your video was awesome and your applique and fabric were so colorful. When I was 18 I made my own white linen suit with zippered skirt with pleats to graduate high school in. I made denim jean skirts with zippers and now in my 50s, zippers scare me. I haven't been able to understand any of the reading directions without seeing hands on installation. I picked your video due to the size of your bag and the seafoam green is my favorite color. I am sure your little girl loved it. This weekend I want to try and make one of your pouches. My grandmother owned a fabric store for years and when she passed away my mom and I inherited TONS of fabric with all the sewing notions to go with it. I am getting ready to participate in a craft sale at the end of April and I usually sell my jewelry that I make and have been beading since I was 10 but, I am all beaded out from winter sales. I am itching to get back to sewing. I use to make my own curtains, pillow cases, pillow shams to match my curtains. I even made my own silky slips to wear under my skirts. Thank you for an awesome video. My dad told me once the best tailors in the world are men and that's why he bought all his suits in Korea that were made by men. My dad is very tall and is a retired minister. I am a happy PK. I am very blessed both parents are still alive and well at almost 81 years of age and I am 55. Presently my dad is away in Europe sailing the high seas. He is from England and he and his family came to the USA in 1948 after his home town was bombed by Hitler. My grandmother was a beautiful seamstress and sewed all my dad's clothes as a little boy and even his shirts in high school with chickens on it - apparently that was a cool fad in 1958.
I love your character also Mister Domestic - I bet your the life of the party. Wish you lived near me to help teach me how to sew. Have a great spring and summer. Sincerely, Rebekah in Alexandria, VA

You're probably not checking comments six years later, but I wanted you to know that I made this pouch (the EASIEST pattern on RUclips) but because I wanted one to put in the back of my 3 ring music binder to hold pencils, highlighters and post-it notes, I added grommets to the bottom and it is so, so cute and functional. Now everyone in the choir is asking me to make one for them so ca-ching, ca-ching!!

One more thing: Whoever finds ANY reason to make a negative comment about your tutorials is only showing the world how sad and miserable THEY are with themselves... it only reflects THEM as the type person they are. So, let's all pray for them, and you just keep on keepin' on like you are and the world will surely benefit :)

I love your wonder tape tip. Use your 1/4" presserfoot it makes things so much easier. Also try faux serging that final open seam in the lining bottom. Use a small zigzag slightly off center it will never come undone and looks better than topstitching. I wish someone would come up with a way to improve the zipper ends from curving after turning out without using those silly zipper tab ends. Yours came nice. Love your tutorial. Thanks for teaching!

I am an old soul at sewing, but I have been away for several years. Thanks, love, for showing me how to use zipper tape! I did not know it should be heat set. I have watched 5 of these zipper pouchie tutorials and this was the easiest to follow! I inherited a bunch of crafting stuff including 15 lbs of scrap fabric from a neighbor who passed away (she made dance costumes for a living), so I have at least 100 zippers lying around. I just got a brand new Brother machine for Christmas, so I'm feeling super curious to make some goodies! I don't even need to go fabric shopping. Wow!

Great little bag! I didn't know WonderTape worked better when heat setting it! Love how easy the lining piece and the outside pieces worked. So easy to understand. Thank you.

Your smile, laugh, and charisma are enjoyable, as is the cute project. I was having an extremely trying day, and you certainly cheered me up and moved my focus to something positive. TY! :)

Subscribed just because of your personality!! Plus the tutorial is excellent! I'm old and set in my ways and always bought a zip to fit my needs. Buying a longer zip is just a fantastic idea!! Looking forward to more videos and banter 👍💙👏
