It's rather unfortunate that we can't transfer parts from one ship to another or even a chance to collect parts from destroyed ships. Great video! You did a fantastic job of explaining the pros and cons of each ship part vendor and dealer. I’m looking forward to building my own ship with your guidance.
Hello. ✌🏻🇨🇵 So... If I understand correctly : I don't need to travel all around the universe to unlock all the part. I just need to build a big landing in an outpost ?
So. Since you can exit the shipbuilder with an incomplete ship. And the order in which you place the parts matters for portal and ladder placement how do you resolve this problem?
I'm pretty sure while in the shipbuilder, you can pull it apart and while putting it back together - change the order of connection (that I think the game uses to formulate the paths in the ship). Unless you mean _"How do you tell what the path is while building"_ - in which case, you currently can not. You'll have to build (make sure all parts are attached somehow, and there is a path from cockpit to landing bay / docker etc - then go check, if its no good, reload and retry (a fat slice of trial and error, unfortunately).
Some parts are only available at the home office or home shipyard of that particular company and parts are also lvl gated so at character lvl 30 you wont see parts that require you to be lvl 60, some also require skills in piloting or ship design.
Thanks for mentioning that ship components are level locked, that we won't even see them till we've reached whatever level that specific piece unlocks. I was utterly clueless about this until I spent hours yesterday hacking the game with console commands to learn what was going on.
@@Riggswolfe My piloting and engineering are maxed, because originally I thought that might be the case. It is not the case. It is level dependant, not skill.
Kinda sad design choice that you cant buy these parts anywhere except those exact shipyards. At least if you could buy them and then have them send to your outpost shipyard, so you could build entire ship at one place.

i don't see any way to tell what is unique to the vendor or not. This is incredibly vague
Great video! You did a fantastic job of explaining the pros and cons of each ship part vendor and dealer. I’m looking forward to building my own ship with your guidance.
You need to upload the files that show off the showrooms while you speak. You kept only one.
Hello. ✌🏻🇨🇵
So... If I understand correctly :
I don't need to travel all around the universe to unlock all the part. I just need to build a big landing in an outpost ?
No. LP unlocks 90% of all parts. Some are unique to specific locations.
Tiered. Pronounced like tear. As in what you shed when crying.
I didn’t find staryard, is there something too do first, and then they are at the location?
Thought you were actually going to show some of the unique parts.
Do you only have to inspect the different vendors, to get the ship parts?
I
He's buying parts for the ship he is modifying...
If Walter is a party member can he get the player discounts?
I would love a tour of different cockpits/bridges
I *hate* that hope tech is the only group with walkways that go forward.
It's turn to your other right guys when in Neon. meaning turn left..
Why can’t I buy parts on console? What am I missing?
So what I go visit all these vendors and then I can use the parts whenever?
Someone please tell this man how to correctly pronounce Deimos ☠️
Starfield - GoldStar (ship) . I made it and its free for all players. Have fun
I cannot find a certain dog star reactor or balistic solutions weapon. Both the highest they can be. So them company’s have certain locations?
Some parts are only available at the home office or home shipyard of that particular company and parts are also lvl gated so at character lvl 30 you wont see parts that require you to be lvl 60, some also require skills in piloting or ship design.
How do I get all these do I just have to go to each one or buy everything
I don't understand how to buy ship parts from these dealers
I still think the ship building or buying of ship parts is stupid
I was really expecting more options in cockpit design
I really don’t understand the ship part buying.
Where do you get the non turtle leg looking landing thrusters??
Having to hop to other ports just to finish a ship is so damn annoying
Thanks for mentioning that ship components are level locked, that we won't even see them till we've reached whatever level that specific piece unlocks. I was utterly clueless about this until I spent hours yesterday hacking the game with console commands to learn what was going on.
"hacking the console" = just putting in 2 commands to change your level and money 😂 wow, 1337
I'm not sure they're level locked so much as skill locked. Specifically the starship engineering skill and piloting skill.
@@Riggswolfe My piloting and engineering are maxed, because originally I thought that might be the case. It is not the case. It is level dependant, not skill.
@@panpiper Apparently it is both level and skills.
Nova Galactic has that sterile but sleek look to it
Y know you can make a landing zone with a builder and get all the prices right?
not all the parts. More of them, sure, but not all.
Some are location specific.
Nova has the best landing gear just fyi
How do i get 40 power reactor i need it for my ship
Dantis has the best presentation imo.
Kinda sad design choice that you cant buy these parts anywhere except those exact shipyards. At least if you could buy them and then have them send to your outpost shipyard, so you could build entire ship at one place.
