I find it very funny that the "Second Course of the Last Cup in a Row" thing ended up being true... but for Rosalina's Ice World instead. It was right under our noses all along...
You didn't think I'd forget about the winner on the poll, did you? Hope you'll all enjoy the final Booster Course Pass prediction video, that I'll make possibly!
I’d really think Nintendo throws another curveball & doesn’t choose Neither of this 2 GCN tracks,so I think Mushroom Bridge Was Ment for Wave 4 or 5,also Mushroom Bridge have the best potential to get increased difficulty by adding Mushroom & Bob-omb cars & To collaborate with Piranha Plant Cove & Pipeline,Bring Back the green warp pipe shortcut from the original GameCube version, they have done a similar thing within wave 3 by adding Half pipes to trick on for a Speed boost & The Green warp pipe shortcut is more fitting in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe due to the double item box
@@jasperstuart5745 You never read comments do you? The pipe isn't in the tour version so that's off the table. Also we got Moonview Highway already. Also half pipes are only in courses that have them in tour and didn't get thrown into it randomly except 1 time before.
@@jasperstuart5745 Mushroom Bridge was NOT meant for Wave 4 according to the course file names. Daisy Cruiser is Cnsw_46 *(Wave 4’s 6th course).* There’s no way we get Bridge right after Moonview Highway.
@meganmckinstry6546 Advertisements do not mean anything at all. They are direct ports from Mario Kart Tour. Albert literally just explained it in the video if you watched it. Also, if they REALLY mean something, Where is Honey Queen and why are we not getting Vanilla Lake over Bowser’s Castle?
That's what I think, sure Dino Dino Jungle is said to be a Diddy Kong track according to files (I think anyway) but DK Mountain has a way more obvious Donkey Kong theme, from the Barrel Cannon to the Donkey Kong billboard at the start of the course with DK's textfont.
SuperMan Vs Goku who? Nah fam; big monke hill vs big lizard forest 💀 For real tho, I'm hoping for DK Mountain, since it'd go with DK Summit really nicely. (I'm also wishing for Mushroom Bridge, since it's my favorite DD course, but I won't be surprised if it's something else 😔)
When the Booster Course Pass came out, I assumed Dino Dino Jungle would’ve been a safe bet but over time, but I really like that it flipped in DK Mountain’s favor as it’s my favorite track of all time and didn’t think it had a chance originally. Now there’s too much evidence pointing towards DK Mountain that I’d be surprised if it was still Dino Dino Jungle. Also I do think it’s possible Mushroom Bridge was still planned but nearing the end of Tour’s rendering developments, they instead decided on bringing back Moonview Highway as a traffic course replacement and then to not have both of them, also put in Wii Daisy Circuit. Imo I would’ve loved both Moonview Highway and Mushroom Bridge since traffic courses are always fun but it is what it is.
Why they chose to have the moonview highway swap? Two possible reasons can be reserving mushroom bridge for extended waves(7-9) or having one specific course they wanna bring(I doubt this is moonview highway, as it is even more generic than bridge. Maybe Daisy Circuit, but we already have Rome and Madrid which are similar. Then it’s probably a course we never saw before, I would say GBA BC4 is likely that course, as they have to put this in wave 6 as they need more time, maple tree way is moved to wave 3 instead and moonview is a better fit for wave 5 than bridge)
Honesty I’m not counting out Mushroom Bridge. Aside from the fact that Nintendo has already made the bomb car asset used in the track, its more recent inclusion in Tour and Moonview Highway being seemingly moved out of Wave 6 (perhaps to not clash with another car course), I think Nintendo likes to surprise us and do what we’re not expecting. There have been so many out of left field decisions made for the pass which seemingly don’t make sense that the inclusion of Mushroom Bridge over a Jungle course wouldn’t even be a big shock to me. I still think the other GCN courses have just as much chance to get in, but all I’m saying is Mushroom Bridge is still very much on the table Edit: just to clarify this reply isn’t me “coping” because I want Mushroom Bridge, it’s actually the GCN track I want the least and I’d much prefer a Jungle course. I’m just laying all the facts on the table and saying that Mushroom Bridge has just as much chance to get in as the others
Putting my biased for DK Mountain aside, there's just more pointing towards DK Mountain coming over Dino Dino Jungle. The past 2 waves heck the entire BCP has shown how much they love adding Wii nitros and tracks that were retros in Wii, and DK Mountain also got half-pipes which Nintendo has loved adding since wave 3, and DK Mountain also got remade more recently than Dino Dino Jungle and we have seen a very little amount of og Tour retros this year. Not to mention the amount they could sell on nostalgia for DK Mountain. Edit: I also believe Mushroom Bridge was never planned. It would've only made sense for wave 4 and even then, why would they release a track like Waluigi Stadium, then Mushroom Bridge? I believe the original GCN placements were Waluigi Stadium in wave 3, Daisy Cruiser in wave 4, DK Mountain in wave 5, and then Dino Dino Jungle in wave 6, and now Nintendo replaced one of the jungles since they'd now be in the same wave, making them choose between DK Mountain and DDJ.
to add to your edited portion, i believe that they didn’t add mushroom bridge because it is just way too similar to moonview highway. considering nintendo kind of has an addiction for adding wii tracks to the bcp whenever they can, it makes complete sense why mushroom bridge wasn’t considered. i guess nintendo just saw mh as a combination of mushroom bridge AND city, and thus decided that moonview would be the fan favorite
@@redmoonisjustlikethat Plus we got Shroom Ridge in wave 1 which is an upgraded Mushroom Bridge. I'm not the biggest fan of Moonview's remake, but it was a better decision over Mushroom Bridge.
Rewatching this to see how it aged and Dino Dino Jungle being the second track of a cup theory fell apart even more now that DK Mountain rubbed more salt in the wound with it being the second track of the Acorn Cup instead of the 3rd or 4th track now lol Next game it returns, watch it’ll be the first track of the cup.
Another video from Albert Boris. Absolutely kingly!!! As Secretary of DK Mountain I'm obviously biased towards the angry mountain, I love that track, but I wouldn't be mad if we got dinodino.
I already have one for Rome Avanti. It was originally supposed to end the Feather Cup, with its filename being CNSW54. I think they changed it because the music and atmosphere wouldn’t make it climactic as a finale for a cup.
@@callmereiwe got 2 Waluigi and Daisy tracks in the DLC and 3 Wario, Yoshi, and Toad tracks in the whole game now. I’m pretty sure it’ll be ok for DK to get another track in the DLC
If they make a BCP 2, which is very unlikely though, it would be nice to see Dino Dino Jungle in Wave 3 or Wave 5, assuming this hypothetical DLC would have 6 waves too.
13:17 Little did she know, MK8DX’s graphic improvement for this track would be AMAZING!!! Also, Madrid Drive also was a mild fan favorite. It has what some other city courses don’t have, which makes many people dislike them: variety. Nintendo knew what they were doing lmao
this is a literally a 50/50 situation with no in between. It really unfortunate that this wave is easy to predict not only for the people who are following the leaks, but also the casual audience who don’t follow the leaks. you can literally predict over half the tracks without knowing the tracks which is really sad. however daisy AND moonview got in over dry dry ruins which is the only one out of the 3 to have halfpipes.
True, however the reason Dry Dry Ruins didn't get in might only be because throughout almost all of Mario Kart 8/8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Tour, Nintendo has shown a strong dislike for having difficult retro tracks, especially difficult Wii tracks.
I wish Toad's Factory was in Tour, would have gladly taken that over Daisy Circuit. Daisy Circuit's main appeal is just its sunset shoreline setting, that's it, the course layout itself is just another simplistic Circuit track, and I say that when Wii is my favorite Mario Kart game. If Toad's Factory was in Tour and then it got added to BCP instead of Daisy Circuit I would much prefer that.
Great video Albert Boris! Yeah, What’s even more funny is that I’ve been thinking about it too. There’s another reason why DK Mountain is getting over Dino Dino Jungle. The remake of DK Mountain is WAY more recent than Dino Dino Jungle. When looking at the rendered dates, DK Mountain was around late 2022, whereas Dino Dino Jungle was in 2019 around the year Mario Kart Tour came out. Why is this mentioned and somehow important? It is because of the bias towards MKT’s newer retro courses from the Waves 4 and 5. When we look back at Waves 1-3, those courses from long ago were from 2019. Ever since then, the DLC as of now has been HUGELY centered around 2022-2023. Only 2 of the courses from Waves 4, 5 and definitely 6 were released in Tour prior around 2022. Neither of those 2 outliers in a 2019 course. Dino Dino Jungle would be VERY out of place in Wave 6 when almost nearly ALL courses were from 2022-2023. So yeah, with all of that said. Here are my Wave 6 predictions + course file names. *ACORN CUP* Tour Rome Avanti (Cnsw_54) Wii Daisy Circuit (Cnsw_66) GCN DK Mountain (Cnsw_56) Piranha Plant Cove (Cnsw_64) *SPINY CUP* Tour Madrid Drive (Cnsw_51) Piranha Plant Pipeline (Cnsw_67) SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 (Cnsw_57) Wii Rainbow Road (Cnsw_68)
That's true! Personally, I don't think render dates matter too much, unless the render date in particular is abnormally late (such as Rainbow Road, Bowser Castle 3, Daisy Circuit and Moonview Highway), but it's something to consider!
With just 1 wave to go and potentially just the one surprise left, it was an amazing journey to take with this channel, in my opinion the best one to cover the Booster Course Pass Here's hoping that Mario Kart 9 comes sooner than Booster Course Pass 2
Honestly, I‘d go with DK Mountain, in terms of using retros from 2022 onwards, but Dino Dino Jungle wouldn’t be a bad choice either. For the selection, I only chose this order because I wanted to switch it up to make it feel more interesting: For the Acorn Cup: Tour Rome Avanti Wii Daisy Circuit Piranha Plant Cove (Tour) And GCN DK Mountain And for the Spiny Cup: Tour Madrid Drive Piranha Plant Pipeline (Tour) - Like before, if a rename was possible, then Warp Pipe Canyon would definitely work SNES Bowser Castle 3 And Wii Rainbow Road
DK Mountain, and I think it will be the final track in the last cup considering the Kongs were the big piece here. That or it's a new DK themed track altogether
I’m okay with either track but I have one little thing I’d like to mention. A cousin or sequel to DK Mountain, DK SnowBoard Pass or in the US, DK Summit. DK Mountain and Summit look a bit to similar in the way the track plays. Both starting with a little straightaway into turn to hop in a cannon, then going up to the top of an icy mountain or volcano and traveling down said path. Both tracks have really sharp turns after the rugged terrain which then lead to a gap in the road forcing you to go around. But! This is gap can be jumped over with enough speed on DK Mountain in Wii! Almost like the fact you have to line up just good enough for the double cut on DK Summit. Then it leads to a mad dash to the finish line. The only difference at the end is DK Mountain has a bridge with no barriers and DK Summit has halfpipes with one right turn into a straightaway to the finish line. The similarities are there but if DK Mountain makes it, I’m all down for it, more power to the DKM believers and I will be happy to see more GameCube tracks and hear the music from it. Here’s to an amazing Wave 6 and the rivals of karting we make along the way.
Both were already in Wii, where Summit made its debut, and we already have plenty Donut Plains looking tracks, with SNES BC3 coming along with no issues, so as long as they look and play different, which both DK Mountain and Summit do, it's all fine
Now the question is... does Nintendo want to incorporate Noshie (the dinosaur) in MK8D? This would mean making a new asset. If I recall, DK Mountain can use already existing assets like boulders.
@@dustymcwari4468bro that would be awesome!! That would also compliment the Easter egg in double dash where DK Mountain is seen in the distance on DDJ.
I think Bridge could have definitely been planned. The Wave 5 GCN track was the second track of its cup, after all. Not a bad place to put a simpler course. ...though now that I think of it, Boo Lake, Mario Circuit DS, Riverside Park and Sunset Wilds were ALL third tracks in the supposed original plan for the BCP... Actually you may have a point.
i want to point out that every wave except for wave 1 so far has had 2 tracks that were in wii, with daisy cruiser and wii rainbow road taking the main slots it could potentially be dino dino however nintendo is nintendo and like being unpredictable so if daisy cruiser was a bit of a red herring then DK mountain has more of a likelyhood since it would make up for wave 1 only having 1 wii track, also honestly hope that we see bowser castle 4 just because that would basically confirm a second BCP and it got that same treatment that other tracks set for MK8 have been getting with a bit of enviornmental story telling having the bomb exploding and driving in the remains of the track
Along with that, we also have the mystery of which Bowser Castle (SNES 3 or GBA 4) will be in Wave 6, since that slot was pushed back to Wave 6 by Wii Moonview Highway.
Well, every odd track you predicted has made it(Ds Mario circuit, Daisy circuit) has nade it. So i wouldn't be surprised if nintendo pulls an uno reverse card on us.
I still think we're gonna get Dino Dino Jungle as we already have DK Summit which not only has a similar name but a similar layout, a DK barrel canon shooting you up a mountain, a bumpy path back down with plenty of areas to trick and halfpipes, then a pair a U turns with chasms to jump over for a short cut, the only part DK Mountain has that DK Summit doesn't is the bridge at the end
And even then DK Summit replaces it with that whole half-pipe trick area with the snowboarding shy guys, which is much more interesting and fun than the flat empty bridge. In many ways DK Summit is just better DK Mountain, other than maybe the lack of rolling boulders to dodge. A few of Wii's courses were like that actually, basically pseudo-sequels to tracks from Double Dash, except funnily enough it also includes some of said original Double Dash tracks alongside their nitro "sequels."
Dang, was hoping for dino jungle! But since you picked dk mountain and somehow got Mario circuit and daisy circuit right then I guess it's gotta be mountain lol
I think DK Mountain is getting in mainly because it’s the newer track Dino Dino was in tour at launch and it was ripped straight from MK7 DK Mountain is a 2022 track and also is more popular and waves 4-6 have been focusing on mainly 2022-2023(with the exception of DK Summit and Sunset Wilds) Mario Kart Wii was the only game without a circuit track in MK8DX(MK64 has raceways so Royal Raceway counts) and Daisy Circuit was the only one in tour and was one the last tour tracks made which would mean it was likely intended to be added later on, also Wii Bias DK Mountain was in Wii so again WII BIAS!!!!
Great video! Great analysis of everything! I have one argument against Snes Bowser's Castle 3 tho.. You know the pillars at the start of athens? In Tour there are 3 thin pillars in various positions and they made them into two more stable and wide ones. The section in Snes Bowser's Castle 3 with the walls seemed too thin for 8 Deluxe for me personally. I don't really know if it will work on 8DX. Lemme know what you think about that! :) I have heard nobody talk about it so far..
Moonview Highway did not replace a scrapped track. That spot might have just been undecided at the moment. It is already decided the GCN spot though, so there is a crazy chance both tracks make it in but again, extremely low. Sure, you might say it'd be underwhelming if Wii Rainbow Road doesn't make it in, but let's be honest. We already knew it was gonna be underwhelming when 3DS Rainbow Road came before Wave 6. 3DS Rainbow Road was the way to close the pass.
I prefer both Wii DK Summit for having a winter theme and more fun gameplay, DS Airship Fortress for taking place inside the Airship Decks and having more engaging hazards, and Wii Grumble Volcano for taking place inside a volcano than GCN DK Mountain because while it’s great, I wished that the gameplay was more engaging and it also misses an opportunity to take place inside a Giant Volcano which would’ve made it better!
while i do like ddj a little more, i do agree that dkm is more likely. this is mainly for 2 reasons 1- nintendo is going hard on wii fan satisfaction 2- gameplay. generally the tracks with more polygons and elevation in tour are more likely to make it to deluxe, and you can definitely see this with how bad dkm plays in tour (just my opinion lol). ddj is definitely on the simpler side in terms of elevation, was way closer to tours release which has had a lot less bcp representation in later waves (cities and nitros excluded)
@@Marshall.R i’m talking a out extreme verticality. you can feel how clunky the track is the second you get off the cannon. there werent that many tracks left in tour that were very vertical too besides like 3ds bowsers castle and stuff which we werent really gonna ever get
@@average_youtube_commenter And what does that have to do with DK Mountain? It has a lot of elevation because... that's literally the entire point of the track. That says nothing about whether its remake was focused on MK8 or not.
I had mentioned in someone else's video that I had my money on both Tour Nitros not appearing and DK Mountain. Despite not having a secret DS course as I thought, I am pretty happy with my powers of deduction. I mean who listens to posters you see in a 'Mall' anyway?
Personally, I've been a Dino Dino Jungle believer since the beginning. There's just more evidence for DDJ in my opinion. 1. The BCP has shown a clear bias towards courses that were retros in MK7 (Coconut Mall, Waluigi Pinball, Mushroom Gorge, Maple Treeway, Daisy Cruiser, Koopa Cape). Dino Dino Jungle would fit in perfectly. 2. Dino Dino Jungle is a Special Cup course, which regardless of what the original plan was, it would definitely fit better for the final wave of the BCP. 3. I think when it comes to the Peach Gardens pattern, the original plan doesn't matter. What matters is the final outcome, and it still fits when we look at it like that. 4. As shown with DS Mario Circuit back in Wave 4, Nintendo doesn't always choose the fan favorites. 5. DK Mountain may be too similar to DK Summit. Yes they were both in MKWii, but there one was a nitro and one was a retro. I don't think they would both be brought back as retros in the same game, or at the very least not both in the dlc. I'd be happy to see either of them, but I do think Dino Dino is the more likely My final prediction for this wave and the original course codes is *Acorn Cup* Tour Madrid Drive (Cnsw_51) Wii Daisy Circuit (Cnsw_56) SNES Bowser Castle 3 (Cnsw_57) Tour Piranha Plant Cove (Cnsw_64) *Spiny Cup* Tour Rome Avanti (Cnsw_54) GCN Dino Dino Jungle (Cnsw_66) Tour Piranha Plant Pipeline (Cnsw_67) Wii Rainbow Road (Cnsw_68)
One thing in DK Mountain's favor I feel is the fact that it could be easier to implement on account of not having any new or complex gimmicks to program. The cannon and the boulders have been used in a few courses already, so it wouldn't take nearly as much time to add them as opposed to programming the dinosaur, a wholly unique setpiece that needs to move in precise ways for the two routes that snake around it
I think it’ll be DK Mountain. From what it seems, Nintendo wants more DK representation. Which is why Funky and Diddy are coming back. Then adding a course for DK representation would make sense too.
I think the only argument against dk mountain is that it's to similar to dk summit in terms of how the track is structured where both are go into a Canon and make your way down the mountain. I just hope that dk mountain doesn't suck like it does in tour.
@@e.superiorgaming8029 not really the only thing in my opinion. Both tracks involve driving through pipes. Sure aesthetically the track structure and look and feel is different but you can’t deny that.
You may think I would pick DK Mountain, or Mushroom Bridge, or Dino Dino Jungle, but no, I'm going completely random and nothing no one will suspect... DS Airship Fortress
I'm so glad someone else finally had the brains to realise Mushroom Bridge was never planned... I have my own theory on what was actually planned so if anyone wants a read here you go: So we know from the prefix leak a GCN and a nitro were scrapped and replaced with Moonview Highway and Daisy Circuit. To find these 2 tracks we don't have to look very hard, all we have to ask is what was scrapped from MKTour? The answer isn't that simple... we only have file names of these courses, being MOB_MU and MOB_NU, one of these is the scrapped nitro and the other is the scrapped GCN, but what GCN track could it be? If we look at other tracks in MKTour and their file names, Madrid Drive was MOB_MD and Yoshi's Island was MOB_YI, from this we can conclude that most of the time the file names contain the first letter of the first word of a track name, followed by the first letter of the second word of the track name. However, nothing from Double Dash resembles this format, until we look deeper... You see, some tracks have the same names (e.g. Mario Circuit, Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road), so they can't all be labelled the same in the files. Now looking at Mario Circuit we would expect it to be labelled MOB_MC, what else would have the same file names following this principle? GCN Mushroom City. The most logical thing which happened was they obviously couldn't name it MOB_MC, so they just went with the first 2 letters of the track name and named it MOB_MU. This makes a ton of sense with both Moonview Highway and Mushroom City both being night time city tracks. The only thing against it that I can find really is that Moonview didn't fill the slot of Mushroom City from the prefix leak, but in retrospect it wouldn't have been a shock to me if both were scrapped at the same time so they just put them in the other way round for whatever reason. If you disagree with it being Mushroom City, feel free to explain why, but I see no reason why Mushroom City wasn't the original track planned.
Retro courses in Tour doesn't have "MOB" in the name, that's for nitros (city and non-city). Retro courses have normal retro prefixes: for example, Super Mario Kart courses are named "SFC_trackname" in the files (the full name scheme is Classic_GSfc_trackname). These "MOB" tracks you cited would be both Tour nitros if they were released.
I'm starting to think neither of the gcn tracks were chosen and they went with GBA Bowser Castle 4 to end the acorn cup since It's the second only track with a two section lap in Mario kart tour just like Wii Rainbow Road. Also having two Bowser castles (SNES 3 and GBA 4) would be weird but nice.
I prefer DK Mountain than Dino Dino Jungle but we already got DK Summit so I think Dino Dino Jungle is gonna be in Wave 6 but if DK Mountain is in Wave 6 instead of Dino Dino Jungle I’ll be really happy! Also , R.I.P. Mushroom Bridge :( Release date of Wave 6 : 23rd October 2023
DKM is more chance than DDJ in Wave 6 since 1. DKM is difficult than DDJ 2. DDJ was released in the beginning of MKT, while DKM was released in 11/2022. So my prediction of Wave 6 is: Acorn Cup 1. Tour Madrid Drive (Include the food market section, acorn is a food) 2. Wii Daisy Circuit 3. GCN DK Mountain (There may be acorns in the forest area. HAHAHA!!!) 4. Tour Piranha Plant Cove (Multiple route like the cities) Spiny Cup 1. Tour Rome Avanti (Include the colosseum section, spiny items match that theme I think) 2. New Piranha Plant Pipeline 3. SNES Bowser Castle 3 (This track is fitter than DKM as there are spiny balls in the Bowser Castle tracks usually. And why I put here because Bowser Castle track is usually the second last track in most Mario Kart game) 4. Wii Rainbow Road (Mario Kart always end in this way)
I say DK Mountain. Nintendo knows that MKWii is a fan favourite game. So much so they added at least one track in each wave and completing the roster from that game. They also added alot of Retro tracks which were in that game aswell such as Mario circuit 3 Waluigi Stadium and Peach Gardens. DK Mountain was a track in Wii and i believe will be more nostalgic in Nintendos eyes rather than DDJ.
I think we are getting DK Mountain because Dino Dino jungle was in MK7 and DK Mountain hasn't been a thing since Wii (Dont say it was in Tour bc Tour isnt mainline)
Once more, I predict DK Mountain for the sole reason that it would keep the total number of Donkey Kong and Bowser courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in equilibrium.
Honestly, as a massive Mario Kart Wii fan...I'd rather have it be Dino Dino Jungle. If I want to play DK Mountain I can just fire up my Wii and play it there, and with Wii's bike physics too, and I'm very familiar with the course and have played it countless times. Meanwhile I've never played Dino Dino Jungle, or any Double Dash course that wasn't in Wii or 8DX (except GCN Rainbow Road through a Mario Kart Wii custom track mod once) since I've never played Double Dash (only played Super Mario Kart, Wii, and 8DX), and so it would be an entirely new unique course for me that looks so cool. The Double Dash courses I've never gotten to play intrigue me in general because so many of them look sick, I've already played all the GC courses that are in Wii and I can still just go play them in Wii whenever I want, I want new GCN courses I never got to experience. Yeah sure my Wii can play GC games so theoretically I could just get a copy of Double Dash, but that's impossible to find for a reasonable price these days. Not to mention we already got DK Summit which was basically Wii's attempt at a sequel to DK Mountain (and a good one at that), that course is already very similar and even has a similar gap shortcut on the descent, I want something more distinct. But hey, that's just my opinion. I think DK Mountain is way more likely to be the one added though, I just...wish it was Dino Dino Jungle. Not to mention, it has the Dino of course. He's adorable, don't abandon the poor guy like that. :(
What if… hear me out… What if they put the lightning cup of Mario Kart Wii in? They already have Mario Circuit 3, and Peach Gardens. It would be amazing to have 2 complete Wii cups in the Booster Course Pass. They would need DK Mountain and N64 Bowser’s Castle.
I knid of have a theory that nintendo will want the mk9 retro tracks to be tracks that havent been retro tracks before, so dino dino jungle might make it in mk9 along with Warios Collesium since that disapointingly didnt return and is a banger track. My lineup of retro course predictions for mk9 is: gcn dino dino jungle gcn warios collesium wii mario circuit or wii luigi circuit wii toads factory snes vanilla lake gba bowser castle (tour remake) gba rainbow road 2 tour tracks (honestly i have no idea which 2 tracks will be picked, although they might not bring any tour tracks back to add 2 more console retros) mk8 thwomp ruins mk8 electrodrome 3ds wuhu loop 3ds mako wuhu n64 mario raceway ds airship fortress ds delfino square and thats only if nintendo goes with 16 retro courses, hopefully i get atleast 50% of this list right.
You talk about retro tracks that haven’t been retros before… and then in that same breath mention Dino Dino Jungle, Vanilla Lake, Mario Raceway, Airship Fortress and Delfino Square
@@yang6642 Well for dino dino jungle and vanilla lake, they have been ported to a game that isnt a mainline game and tour is shutting down, so i dont think nintendo will keep that rule. DS and 64 have run dry of unused courses, i used mario raceway as one of the generic circuit tracks nintendo always ports, and for airship fortress and delfino square, its been over 10 years since we have had these fan favourite tracks in a mk game, so i dont think they will be choosing figure 8 circuit or ds bowsers castle over these 2 courses. My point about nintendo bringing back unused tracks was more for dino dino being in the next mario kart game instead of the booster pass because then mk9 will have 2 good unused retro courses
@@yang6642 oh was dino dino brought back in mk7, i forgot it was brought back in mk7 i thought it hasnt ever been brought back nevermind about that, then yeah dino and dk mountain are both equally up for w6

The fact that they are adding both Diddy and Funky Kong could be an indicator for DK mountain, in the same way Birdo launched alongside Yoshi’s island
Nah fam; big monke hill vs big lizard forest 💀
For real tho, I'm hoping for DK Mountain, since it'd go with DK Summit really nicely.

@@LeviCPC25 even if it did, it will not make sense for Per Cup, Per Wave because they share the same music
I still think the other GCN courses have just as much chance to get in, but all I’m saying is Mushroom Bridge is still very much on the table
Edit: just to clarify this reply isn’t me “coping” because I want Mushroom Bridge, it’s actually the GCN track I want the least and I’d much prefer a Jungle course.
I mean… they also love adding retros from 7 as well

Imagine Nintendo throws a curveball like
“You wanted either Dino Dino Jungle, or DK Mountain. Too bad, here’s GCN Mario Circuit”.
Rewatching this to see how it aged and Dino Dino Jungle being the second track of a cup theory fell apart even more now that DK Mountain rubbed more salt in the wound with it being the second track of the Acorn Cup instead of the 3rd or 4th track now lol
Next game it returns, watch it’ll be the first track of the cup.
Another video from Albert Boris. Absolutely kingly!!! As Secretary of DK Mountain I'm obviously biased towards the angry mountain, I love that track, but I wouldn't be mad if we got dinodino.
It's gotta be DK Mountain. Please.
Video idea: what was the original plan for the booster course pass?
Using the prefix leak, guess what their plan was and why they changed it.
I already have one for Rome Avanti.
It was originally supposed to end the Feather Cup, with its filename being CNSW54.
I think they changed it because the music and atmosphere wouldn’t make it climactic as a finale for a cup.
Dk! Donkey Kong! Dk! Dk mountain is here!
I really hope Dino Dino jungle gets picked!
Nah
@@murdermonkey_lolSo you would rather want a repetitive choice that is only going to be here for Wii bait?
@@callmereiwdym repetitive, it came back for Wii and tour as Dino Dino did for 3DS and tour(?)
@@daniel_ht Repetitive as in a redundant pick- We have DK Summit already.
Imagine if they trolled us and added Mushroom Bridge to replace Wii Rainbow Road
@@Marshall.R Moonview Highway was a difficult track in Wii, though granted...seems like they nerfed it in that regard here.
@@legoboy7107 That's precisely my point. They entirely nerfed Moonview Highway into the ground and will likely do the same to Rainbow Road.
Dry Dry Ruins needed to come back over Coconut Mall change my mind
*ACORN CUP*
Tour Rome Avanti (Cnsw_54)
Wii Daisy Circuit (Cnsw_66)
GCN DK Mountain (Cnsw_56)
Piranha Plant Cove (Cnsw_64)
*SPINY CUP*
Tour Madrid Drive (Cnsw_51)
Piranha Plant Pipeline (Cnsw_67)
SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 (Cnsw_57)
Wii Rainbow Road (Cnsw_68)
That's true! Personally, I don't think render dates matter too much, unless the render date in particular is abnormally late (such as Rainbow Road, Bowser Castle 3, Daisy Circuit and Moonview Highway), but it's something to consider!
@@AlbertBoris Yeah I know they don’t mean much at all, but it is something to *Wonder* (that was terrible)
With just 1 wave to go and potentially just the one surprise left, it was an amazing journey to take with this channel, in my opinion the best one to cover the Booster Course Pass
Here's hoping that Mario Kart 9 comes sooner than Booster Course Pass 2
Well DK Mountain is coming because I took a closer look at the banner leak and I saw DK Mountain. So DK Mountain is coming. Yay.
Honestly, I‘d go with DK Mountain, in terms of using retros from 2022 onwards, but Dino Dino Jungle wouldn’t be a bad choice either.
For the selection, I only chose this order because I wanted to switch it up to make it feel more interesting:
For the Acorn Cup:
Tour Rome Avanti
Wii Daisy Circuit
Piranha Plant Cove (Tour)
And GCN DK Mountain
And for the Spiny Cup:
Tour Madrid Drive
Piranha Plant Pipeline (Tour) - Like before, if a rename was possible, then Warp Pipe Canyon would definitely work
SNES Bowser Castle 3
And Wii Rainbow Road
with how accurate youve been this is just an official announcment on what track is coming
Honestly, I wouldn't mind. I love the cannon gimmick of DK Mountain, but I also love the track layout of Dino Dino Jungle
Love the content! More people should watch you.
Dang I loved how that other RUclipsr whatever his name was was sort of in this video
I made a bet with my brother that DK Mountain would make the cut over Dino Dino Jungle. So for my sake at least, it better make it in.
How do you feel now?
I don’t think Nossie getting added is a worthy trade off for DK Mountain, the superior track.
@@joshslater2426 what if they end up adding it to the bridge section or something
@@dustymcwari4468bro that would be awesome!! That would also compliment the Easter egg in double dash where DK Mountain is seen in the distance on DDJ.
The man has spoken. It will be DKM.
Two tracks similar culture! I love both DKM on Wii and DDJ on 3ds! Honestly I would pick DKM because you keep going up and down 3 times
Every wave has had a track that was brought to tour before the bcp was announced.
i want to point out that every wave except for wave 1 so far has had 2 tracks that were in wii, with daisy cruiser and wii rainbow road taking the main slots it could potentially be dino dino however nintendo is nintendo and like being unpredictable so if daisy cruiser was a bit of a red herring then DK mountain has more of a likelyhood since it would make up for wave 1 only having 1 wii track, also honestly hope that we see bowser castle 4 just because that would basically confirm a second BCP and it got that same treatment that other tracks set for MK8 have been getting with a bit of enviornmental story telling having the bomb exploding and driving in the remains of the track
god damnit i said daisy cruiser instead of daisy circuit and my comment got hearted so i can't edit it without removing the heart
Gonna be mushroom bridge now just because lol
So we can’t have two DK tracks that are vaguely similar in concept but we can have four Mario Circuits in the game?
That’s pretty backwards logic.
@@joshslater2426 I mean, I don't want 4 Mario Circuit tracks either, DS Mario Circuit should have been Airship Fortress instead for example.
I swear if they blow us away and do Mushroom Bridge I will love the remix but like the GCN Jungle music remix idk how will they top the OG…
DK Mountain is What I want to see
you were wrong about pirahna plant pipeline.
we got rosalinas ice world. and we got dk mountain too.
honestly im kinda hopping we get gba bowser 4 castle instead of snes 3 bowser castle I hope because it got such an awesome glow up
Dang, was hoping for dino jungle!
Are you planning to talk about the theory some are having about SNES BC3 getting replaced by another track?
I still think Piranha Plant Pipeline could be scrapped so that they throw the curveball and include both SNES BC3 and GBA BC4
Mushroom Bridge will come over both the jungle tracks...
But being serious, it's DK Mountain no doubt!
As Tony Stark once said “is it too much to ask for both?”
They could always just rescale the model, which they would probably have to do anyway
We'll just wait and see the release date trailer for wave 6 and see which courses are getting added in the remaining 7 spots.
I prefer both Wii DK Summit for having a winter theme and more fun gameplay, DS Airship Fortress for taking place inside the Airship Decks and having more engaging hazards, and Wii Grumble Volcano for taking place inside a volcano than GCN DK Mountain because while it’s great, I wished that the gameplay was more engaging and it also misses an opportunity to take place inside a Giant Volcano which would’ve made it better!
while i do like ddj a little more, i do agree that dkm is more likely. this is mainly for 2 reasons
1- nintendo is going hard on wii fan satisfaction
2- gameplay. generally the tracks with more polygons and elevation in tour are more likely to make it to deluxe, and you can definitely see this with how bad dkm plays in tour (just my opinion lol). ddj is definitely on the simpler side in terms of elevation, was way closer to tours release which has had a lot less bcp representation in later waves (cities and nitros excluded)
"more polygons and elevation"
My dude we literally got Daisy Circuit over like a dozen other retros that had much more complexity and verticality
@@Marshall.R i’m talking a out extreme verticality. you can feel how clunky the track is the second you get off the cannon. there werent that many tracks left in tour that were very vertical too besides like 3ds bowsers castle and stuff which we werent really gonna ever get
@@average_youtube_commenter And why does that make it more likely?
@@Marshall.R because. it has a lot of elevatiom. when a track like this has a lot of elevation that feels like shit in tour, its designed for deluxe
I'd be happy to see either of them, but I do think Dino Dino is the more likely
My final prediction for this wave and the original course codes is
*Acorn Cup*
Tour Madrid Drive (Cnsw_51)
Wii Daisy Circuit (Cnsw_56)
SNES Bowser Castle 3 (Cnsw_57)
Tour Piranha Plant Cove (Cnsw_64)

GCN Dino Dino Jungle (Cnsw_66)
Tour Piranha Plant Pipeline (Cnsw_67)
Wii Rainbow Road (Cnsw_68)
7:57 Incredibly cursed Swift Cafe lore deep cut
One thing in DK Mountain's favor I feel is the fact that it could be easier to implement on account of not having any new or complex gimmicks to program. The cannon and the boulders have been used in a few courses already, so it wouldn't take nearly as much time to add them as opposed to programming the dinosaur, a wholly unique setpiece that needs to move in precise ways for the two routes that snake around it
If GCN DKM gets in lets pray for the gap jump.
Wii MG and Wii DKS had gap jumps so it can be possible.
DINO DINO JUNGLE SUPREMACY BUT TBH BOTH ARE GREAT
I think it’ll be DK Mountain. From what it seems, Nintendo wants more DK representation. Which is why Funky and Diddy are coming back. Then adding a course for DK representation would make sense too.

I can’t believe that this has the biggest arguments in the entire booster course pass
I have a feeling that vanilla lake will make it in instead of bowser’s castle
I think DK Mountain has more chances to be in Wave 6 because of Half-Pipes from Wii and Tour remakes
Imagine if Nintendo pulls a move similar to the Wave 4 DS Track and gives us GCN Luigi Circuit
I think the only argument against dk mountain is that it's to similar to dk summit in terms of how the track is structured where both are go into a Canon and make your way down the mountain. I just hope that dk mountain doesn't suck like it does in tour.
We got Moonview Highway. Being too similar isn’t an argument at this point

I have my own theory on what was actually planned so if anyone wants a read here you go:
So we know from the prefix leak a GCN and a nitro were scrapped and replaced with Moonview Highway and Daisy Circuit.
Interesting now I want to do more digging to find other scrapped courses.
Part of me wonders if maybe it could be neither of the jungles and instead be a single course that was made exclusive to the BCP.
There are no more tour tracks. There is no bcp exclusive track and there won't be
I'm starting to think neither of the gcn tracks were chosen and they went with GBA Bowser Castle 4 to end the acorn cup since It's the second only track with a two section lap in Mario kart tour just like Wii Rainbow Road.
Mushroom Bridge :(
Release date of Wave 6 : 23rd October 2023
If wave 6 gives me Funky Kong, Wii Rainbow Road AND DK Mountain. Instant favorite wave.
Double dash was did so dirty with the bcp, chould have gotten at least 2 more tracks
DKM is more chance than DDJ in Wave 6 since
1. DKM is difficult than DDJ
2. DDJ was released in the beginning of MKT, while DKM was released in 11/2022.
So my prediction of Wave 6 is:
Acorn Cup
1. Tour Madrid Drive (Include the food market section, acorn is a food)
2. Wii Daisy Circuit
3. GCN DK Mountain (There may be acorns in the forest area. HAHAHA!!!)
4. Tour Piranha Plant Cove (Multiple route like the cities)
Spiny Cup
1. Tour Rome Avanti (Include the colosseum section, spiny items match that theme I think)
2. New Piranha Plant Pipeline
3. SNES Bowser Castle 3 (This track is fitter than DKM as there are spiny balls in the Bowser Castle tracks usually. And why I put here because Bowser Castle track is usually the second last track in most Mario Kart game)
I think the courses will be announced today, just a hunch, but the time on squeaky clean sprint is always 10:10, and I think that might mean something
If only the secret cup theory happens then we could get both
Or just a second booster course pass
You all aren't ready for GBA Bowser castle 4 and SNES Bowser Castle 3 to both end up in the final wave somehow
I’m just gonna say this one time and one time only
I DON’T CARE WHICH ONE IS COMING THEY ARE BOTH W TRACKS THIS DEBATE NEEDS TO FINALLY END
My copium is saying it has double dash dk mountain and double dash rainbow road and that's why they showed us daisy circuit first
What if… hear me out…
What if they put the lightning cup of Mario Kart Wii in? They already have Mario Circuit 3, and Peach Gardens. It would be amazing to have 2 complete Wii cups in the Booster Course Pass. They would need DK Mountain and N64 Bowser’s Castle.
Having playing mk7 for years, I havent experienced DK Mountain so I would much rather have that track over DDJ again
If we dont get another bowsers castle or airship fortress i hope we get rosalinas ice world tbh.
The only thing that can change wave 6 is if GBA Bowser Castle 4 somehow replaces SNES Bowser Castle 3.
I knid of have a theory that nintendo will want the mk9 retro tracks to be tracks that havent been retro tracks before, so dino dino jungle might make it in mk9 along with Warios Collesium since that disapointingly didnt return and is a banger track. My lineup of retro course predictions for mk9 is:
gcn dino dino jungle
gcn warios collesium
wii mario circuit or wii luigi circuit
wii toads factory
snes vanilla lake
gba bowser castle (tour remake)
gba rainbow road
2 tour tracks (honestly i have no idea which 2 tracks will be picked, although they might not bring any tour tracks back to add 2 more console retros)
mk8 thwomp ruins
mk8 electrodrome
3ds wuhu loop
3ds mako wuhu
n64 mario raceway
ds airship fortress
ds delfino square
and thats only if nintendo goes with 16 retro courses, hopefully i get atleast 50% of this list right.
@@Mask60YT DDJ was brought back in MK7, and then Tour. And Nintendo themselves consider the game mainline, also it isn’t shutting down.
@@yang6642 oh was dino dino brought back in mk7, i forgot it was brought back in mk7 i thought it hasnt ever been brought back nevermind about that, then yeah dino and dk mountain are both equally up for w6
I hope the trailer comes out tmrw.
I really want both tracks tbh
I wish we got an N64 track instead of Daisy Circuit. I do like almost all the Wii courses(including Daisy Circuit) but like the N64 had some really, really good course.
If mushroom bridge gets added, I will eat my shorts
hopefully DK mountain
I hope Pajama Sam courses get added!!~
Oh that would be amazing! I remember playing the Pajama Sam games a ton growing up, especially the 2nd game!
There’s no need to hide when it’s dark outside.
