- If all 50 US states were to have one Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track in them, here's what it would be.
Let me know what Mario Kart track best suits where you're from!

Missed oppurtunity to have Waluigi Pinball for Nevada
I thought about it, but I liked electrodrome for it a hair more
@@jeremymklinger,do you agree that GBA Sunset Wilds just like DS Waluigi Pinball STILL aren’t improved by including the Visual Sunset skybox Gimmick & the Missing Sound effect you normally would hear when drive between/beyond the Flippers?
Also missed opportunity for Riverside Park for Louisiana
Yeeha
I still think it fits. Electrodome very much gives Las Vegas sphere vibes. (I'm a Las Vegas local so I drive near it often :>)
As a Rhode Islander I was so scared that we would be given baby park because we're the smallest state. Thank goodness there's Yoshi Island
Rhode Island is a pretty dope state ngl
First time ive heard someone say they're from Rhode Island. Then I realize more people live there than my state 😔 (South Dakota on top fr)
i'm from ri too and i actually think ds cheep cheep beach would have been better...we are the ocean state!
lol I was too
@That_Couch_Potato Rhode Island wasn’t baby park because of Yoshi’s island, it was because Utah was the youngest state.
New York definitely should’ve been Moonview Highway and Texas should’ve been Toad’s Turnpike…
Now York Minute: *exists*
@@twhylerm0:05
@@Zoigunoh i didn’t watch it with audio i didn’t notice that
yea i live in pa and i was expecting something abt bridges instead
@@twhylermWhy wouldnt you watch the vid with audio? Lmao
Sweet Sweet Canyon does fit Michigan, because it has Mackinac Island, home to the best fudge in the nation.
Fr, I went there once and I was basically eating fudge the whole time
yessir
Mackinac Island Fudge plus Flint Water. It is literally the perfect course!
I can confirm that Shy Guys live in the trees in Idaho
I live in idaho
What part of Idaho do you live in dude??
The part where Shy Guys live in trees obviously@@SlushieSakura
I think Neo Bowser City would be a better fit for Washington. Seattle gets ALOT of rain and the Cyberpunk theme kinda goes well with Seattle having tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon
That’s 💯
That would be a great choice as a Washingtonian myself
I’m from Washington and I will confirm it rains a lot
Yeah, i was gonna say that too lmao, i can confirm this, ive been stuck in my house cuz of the rain for 950 days
I'd love this for countries
edit: as a guy from the island of Ireland, Moo Moo Meadows represents us perfectly
Ice Ice Outpost for Antarctica
The funny part is the staff ghost for Moo Moo Meadows is from the UK
Problem: there's 199 countries and only 96 tracks in the game.
@@EireProductionsThat's still enough for a version with all departments in Metropolitan France.
Maple Treeway = Canada!
As a Montanan, I can confirm that we race by hang gliders through the Rocky Mountains to a rock-and-roll tune whilst nearly getting crushed by boulders and narrowly avoiding pine trees.
Although, to be fair, Wario's Gold Mine would've been a *MUCH* better choice. We're called the Treasure State for a reason. Everyone moved to Montana during the gold rush to strike it rich. One of our biggest things is "last chance," because it was everyone's last chance to strike it rich, and they did.
I didn’t know that was one of the nicknames for Montana, thanks for sharing!
As a Missourian, Riverside Park was a perfect fit due to both of the big rivers being in our state and also because of the amazing scenery in Southern Missouri. Choco Mountain being West Virginia was also perfect because of its mountainous Appalachian appearance and because the music sounds like it’s being played by West Virginian hillbillies
Glad a local to Missouri agrees with me on the choice! I thought I’d get some flack for West Virginia, every picture I used made those mountains look so luscious and full of natural beauty, and then choco mountain is desolate af lol, but I just meant bc they were more round and weathered down
This randomly popped up in my recommended and this is such a fun concept that was fun to watch! You've earned a new subscriber! As someone who lives in New Jersey, to get some explanation as to why it's referred to as "The Garden State" - There's still a lot of controversy whether or not that's what it should be called but the reason it is is because farming was (not sure if it still is) one of the top three most profitable forms of income here, absolutely massive amounts of land are actually dedicated to farming in spite of all of the cities as well, and we apparently have one of the largest varieties of crops in the entire country.
I’m really glad you enjoyed! And thanks for the explanation on New Jersey, I’ve only ever seen the portion by NYC, but I guess there’s a lot more to the state than Jersey City lol
@@jeremymklinger In the area I live in in particular there's actually a lot of huge farms nearby me. The cities are extremely populated but then the suburban areas there's a lot of huge pieces of land that are dedicated to farms and plants.
There’s literally a haunted manmade lake 30 miles from the largest aquarium in the U.S. 💀
Down in Georgia? What’s it called?
@@jeremymklinger Lake Lanier which was made to power and give fresh water to Atlanta and other surrounding cities, was also built over a few drowned towns including one with a cemetery that they never moved before flooding it. The lake also has a history of drownings which is why I kinda figured Boo Lake would’ve been a really good track for Georgia.
@@rebirthphoenix5646 Oh crap, if I had known about that I would’ve gone with boo lake for sure, I appreciate the info!
@@rebirthphoenix5646 sounds like a real life Lake Laogei
I was full on ready for you to say toad harbor because of the city for New York.
As someone from Upstate, you got the animal crossing map straight on man!
I’m an upstate New Yorker too, figured animal crossing better represents the state as a whole 👍
Was personally expecting either Moonview Highway or Toad's Turnpike, or maybe Electrodome (it's the city that never sleeps). But I like how the video displays New York as a whole, not just its big city.
@@jeremymklingerI live upstate too. I'm southeast of Poughkeepsie
@NumberOneRated1997City Tracks don’t count
As someone who lives in Washington, I can confirm there are giant beanstalks and giant airships with giant evil turtle faces on them.
Unfortunately as a Massachusetts man myself, daisy cruiser isn’t the best pick, any traffic course works because no one in this state can drive properly
Best drivers in the country. I've lived in a few states.
4:33 I cheered when MN got the best track in the game.
The best track in WII. Not this game.
@@Caidoz99 Debatable
I think this will start a trend on RUclips.
I hope so!🤞
As a Vermonter I was disappointed when you assigned Mount Wario to Colorado because Vermont has ski resorts, but you redeemed yourself when you instead assigned us Maple Treeways. One of my favorite recreational tracks from Mario Kart Wii.
Maple tree way is one of my favorite tracks! Also, is Vermonter the official way to refer to a person from Vermont? Asking for a friend lol
@@jeremymklinger Lol. Yeah we're referred to as Vermonters. The nature is nice and like you may know we produce more maple syrup than any other state. If we see any pretend maple syrup brands, we make sure every Vermonter on social media knows so we can avoid it. Haha.
6:02 My home :). Also yes the seasons are great here.
I'm from Wisconsin, and I hard disagree with cheese land. Ice Ice outpost is EXACTLY how it feels to drive in Green Bay or Milwaukee during the winter months
The course for Washington "Cloudtop Cruise" is absolutely perfect considering all the RAIN Washington gets.
4:15 but what if daisy cruiser was actually in lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, which is in massachusetts and is the longest name of a lake in the world?
I'm not saying that.
As a person from The DFW metroplex in Texas, I can confirm that traffic is bad in Texas 😂
Tell me about it, people can't drive for crap down here
It's the reason I'll never move out to Dallas for Funimation. The traffic is that bad.
As someone who's traveled through all big Urban cities (I live near SA), I still think Austin is the worst compared to Houston or DFW lol.
I would say Waluigi Pinball makes sense for Nevada as pinball is a game in Vegas. You also said mariokart so I thought Louisiana could be Luigi's Mansion because it kinda looks like a swamp, but it's not in mariokart 8.
100% agree for Louisiana, wish I could’ve used Luigi’s mansion that’s a great pick. Waluigi pinball was the first one that came to mind for Nevada, but I liked the night rave looking track a bit better
As a Massachusetts native, I can confirm that Daisy Cruiser also represents the famous duck boats in the Charles River, as well as the USS Constitution.
The Indiana track is perfect. It's not a difficult track and there aren't any crazy obstacles. A standard race track that often gets forgotten. That's Indiana.
As a North Carolinian, I’ve been to the Biltmore House lots of times and I can 100% confirm your statement!
2:39 Not only that, but Chicago is known to be the rail capital of the US, if you're going From the east Coast to the west coast by train, you're going through Chicago. Chicago is also home to Metra which has 9 lines(technically 13 if you count branch lines)and is the 4th busiest commuter rail system in the us. Chicago also has the underground pedway tunnels and Up until the 1950s , Chicago also had an underground freight subway system
I'm so lucky that Squeaky Clean Sprint is one of my favorite tracks. XD
Squeaky Clean Sprint is in fact S tier
He insulted me with sweet sweet canyon
I got love for Michigan, I took the low hanging fruit though lol
SAME HE SHOULD'VE DONE BOO LAKE
Yeah bro we gotta some of the the most beautiful waters just ignore Erie
Same even tho as a Michigander I know we're known for fishing 😭
@@DuckyBoi27agreed 👻
It is called "The Garden State" because it used to have a LOT of farm land with feilds for miles! But know it is just a bunch of suburban towns...
7:00 hey, i know papaandbean (the player in this clip) he's one of my favorite twitch streamers
If there's a beehive race course next game, beside MK7's Honey Bee Hive, then there's another track for Utah.
Why’s that? Also, there’s an amazing beehive track in the CTGP mod for Mario kart Wii, I forget the name but it’s awesome
@@jeremymklinger I seen it. 😁
@@jeremymklinger Utah is nicknamed the beehive state.
Love how the video starts with the best track ever 😄 0:01
Lies, best track is 3DS rainbow road
My mind cannot be changed
@@thechargedfoxie456yt2 Well you can’t change my mind, that’s for sure
@@windykingdom6153 Mario kart 7 just had a lot of banger tracks ngl
Like the wuhu tracks and DK jungle
@@thechargedfoxie456yt2 I’ll agree on that, Nintendo missed a good chance to put the Wuhu Island race tracks on MK8, unless they’ll put them on Mario Kart 9, if that game will ever happen
MUSIC PARK FANS LET’S GO
As a Georgian, I'm surprised the aquarium racetrack is similar to the Georgia Aquarium a bit.
Could have had a more water themed track for Michigan to represent how Michigan owns all the graet lakes.
As an Arkansasan I had no clue we had Waterfalls here. We are famous for our Hot Springs so famous in fact they named a City Hot Springs. I will give you Diamonds our flag is literally in the shape of one.
thats where Im from
Has a person living in Wisconsin, i can confirm chesse land can fit here since its named americas dairy land
I’m an Oregonian and I am so happy that I got Wii Mushroom Gorge, since it’s one of my favorite courses in the series.
As someone from Kansas I’m so glad that we got the best track in the history of Mario kart as the track! I didn’t even think of the state motto but that’s awesome lol
As someone from countryside in Germany, I choose Moo Moo Meadows
As a Floridian, I can agree that no one comes here to see the swamp (except for Disney World), it's our beaches!
It's also interesting that you choose Cheep Cheep Beach, as it reminds me of Daytona Beach, which NASCAR raced on the actual beach for a time.
I thought that South Carolina would’ve been Mario’s plantation
Little surprised you gave Michigan Sweet Sweet Canyon and sweet right to the water there, smh. I would’ve given Michigan Water Park as there are a few water parks in Michigan where I live
Amazing video! I’ve been to San Francisco a lot of times and it is very similar to Toad Harbor, but Wario’s Goldmine makes a lot of historic sense
Glad you enjoyed the vid!
I live in Mississippi and it's ironic how you made my fav course Mississippi's official state lol. And as a Mississippian, yeah, I agree that it rains a lot down here.
You should do another comparison list but with Canadian Provinces and territories, or maybe countries. Especially the ones in Europe.
"I wouldve gone toad harbor but theres a statue of liberty. "
"New york gets animal crossing"
As an Iowan myself, I can safely say Moo Moo Meadows represents it's farm spirit perfectly well.
I’m glad you agree!
I learned a lot of new facts about many states from this video!
I learned a ton from making it too, glad to spread the knowledge!
4:16 As a Daisy fan from Massachusetts, I'm perfectly happy with this
I'm from Illinois, convinced SBS takes place with the different colored lines for the trains Ex. Red Line
came here for an entertaining time, left with 50 mini history lessons
Was it entertaining?
@@jeremymklinger hell yeah it was!!
Sky garden makes sense for Nj because the first asparagus flight was from Mullica hill, nj
As a Georgian, I approve your choice! We also have a beautiful place in North Georgia called Tallulah Falls that give off major Koopa Cave vibes
As a Pennsylvanian, I am proud of our turnpikes.
Proud of the most expensive road, by far, in the entire world? Costs on average $113 to cross from Ohio - NJ for non-discount passengers cars. Thats absolutely insanity and greed. As a Pennsylvanian it disgusts me
New Jersey is called the garden state because New Jersey has one of the best crop production in America.
I live in MA, and I'm in a pretty damn natural area, but I'd say that either GBA Mario Circuit or maybe 3DS Wuhu Town for a battle course. Possibly Toad Harbor or, hell, New York Minute.
Something about hearing Delaware then Donut Plains 3 was really funny to me
I think Moonview Highway would work better with Michigan because Detroit is the motor city, and Moonview highway has a lot of cars and is a city.
As a Washingtonian, Cloudtop Cruise is spot on. Also, neat little fact, on my profile of MK8DX, I had Cloudtop Criuse as my most played track for a long while. Mainly because i had a difficult time getting the 3 star ranking on the faster modes (150cc, Mirror and 200cc).
The thumbnail making Ohio "Poop Land" is fowl 💀💀💀
foul*
People are crazy for the fact that Ohio is wild 💀
The aquarium one for Georgia was very accurate 👍, neat video btw keep it up!!!
why do all the states i live in and visit have huge aquariums, there's the boston aquarium, the georgian one, um - yeah
@@elviraisganaitis9028 idk.... maybe the saving the turtle's ..... get it from the vsco girl
You should do Mario style emblems for each States
if he doesn't have to do that much explaining why the track is fitting, your state is officially cool
Facts 💯
I'm from Texas, and on my way home from school at night I often listen to Moonview Highway music. Cool to see it as the Texas track
Twisted Mansion for PA. The state is haunted as all fuck between Gettysburg and Eastern State Penitentiary
As a north carolinian, i can confirm that we do indeed live in giant fire castles surrounded by lava and volcanoes
My birthplace (NC) being my favorite course made me so happy and my favorite state (WY) being my favorite underrated course made me even happier.
3:53 YESS I LOVE THIS TRACK TYSM!!!
Piranha Plant Cove is PHENOMENAL
@@jeremymklinger one of the only good tour tracks imo
I can confirm the katy/houston freeway is just freaking huge. just drove through it yesterday
For Massachusetts Moonview highway always works as the traffic SUCKS
I can confirm this, I went to Boston for PAX last year and it was ROUGH
That was a direct jab to Michigan 😂
😆 Baby Park is also fitting when you consider that Utah is also home to its only true amusement park, Lagoon.
Oh come on Michigans lakes aren't that polluted! They are still blue at least...
(Detroit river has free cars!)
im laughing so hard that you used a Christmas track for louisiana, which barely has snow and there are swamps and hot weather
I live in Vermont and I was predicting that Vermont was going to be Maple Treeway and I’d have been so disappointed if it wasn’t, Maple Treeway is basically Vermont in Mario Kart!
Maple Treeway is one of my favorite tracks since it reminds me of great childhood memories of leaf piles and trying out different maple syrups at open houses during maple syrup season. Vermont is such a beautiful state!
Personally, I would've chosen Toad's Turnpike or Moonview Highway for Michigan, for it is essentially the automobile capital of the world, especially in Detroit.
That’s valid, they call it Motown after all
As a Texan, I can comeform that when I go to Houston in person, I get moonveiw highway vibes
Vermont also matches with Maple Treeway's French name, Bois Vermeil (Ruddy Woods)
I know you said you wanted an incest track but im glad someone actually noticed alabamas developments in space exploration.
My state (Indiana) getting one of the most basic tracks is actually funny to me ngl
I would love to do two Mario Kart tracks per state! It doesn’t imply this video is bad, I just want to double how much I love Mario Kart with real driving in USA!
I'm from Michigan and I don't understand the track choice for us at all? Is it soley based on the Flint water crisis that happened years ago? That's really the best you can do? That's somehow worse than all the Detroit sterotypes, holy shit. I didn't know a lack of effort and understanding like this could be achieved
As an Indiana man, I can confirm that Mario Kart does race at Indy and in fact Mario has also won the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400 the latter of which he outran Joey Logano to take the 400 win
As a Texan who lives in that area, I suggest the Wii Moonview Highway may be a good choice due to the many highways that have a lot of cars and traffic.
Glad you agree!
As a Kentuckian, I wasn't expecting the Vault to be brought up as a main state landmark, though I'm biased, given the fact that I live literally less than 15 minutes away from it.
Montana having a track from Mario kart 7 makes me happy.
Missed opportunity to make Pennsylvania Choco Mountain because pa has Hershey chocolate and is in Appalachia.
And the pocono mountains damn you right I kinda like that one better
@@jeremymklinger part 2?
As a west virginian i do think choco mountain fits but if it was in mario kart 8 i wouldve chosen 3DS maka wuhu
Plus maka wuhi and wuhu loop are 2 of my favorite tracks aside from 3DS rainbow road
as someone who lives in new hampshire, you should have done Boo Lake because of our incredibly unpopulated towns
Missourian here, and let me just say that Riverside Park is an absolutely perfect choice for us. :-D
As a New Yorker and New Jerseyan, I mostly agree with GBA Sky Garden being the choice for New Jersey, as the state has some of the most picturesque vegetation around as long as you’re not traveling on the NJ Turnpike or driving through Newark, Elizabeth or Atlantic City, but I feel like you could swap the track choices with North Dakota and not much would change. I was a little surprised with the choice for Animal Crossing for New York, but then I remember how much many places in Upstate and Long Island have very similar scenery to Animal Crossing, it’s not just all New York City after all!
I’m glad ya agree on New Jersey, I’ve only ever seen the industrial part, but I guess it got the nickname for some reason! And as an upstate New Yorker myself, I wanted a track that better represents my part of the state, not just the best looking city in the game. NYC is elite tho
I'd switch Neo Bowser City to New York, Toad Harbor to Rhide Island, and Luigi's Mansion to Massachusetts
im live in iowa so i just knew before you started the video you would choose moo moo meadows
As a Minnesotan my first thought for my state was Maple Tree Way (we have some beautiful fall colors on our trees), but hey, getting Coconut Mall is a pretty high compliment! Also that reasoning for Michigan...💀
If you drive out of any town in Iowa, it will just be miles and miles of fields
"Michigan's not known for desserts, but all the water in this track is discolored and probably really bad for you." 🤣
As an Idahoan I can confirm that we do have shy guys living in our trees.
As a Delaware resident, I approve of your choice & logic 👍👍
Toad Harbor represents New York City Harbor because you got the city side and then you got the harbor with the boats and the Peach Statue representing the Statue of Liberty.
