I do believe that Toad’s Factory should be in the next Mario Kart game. That being said I feel like it was a bit of a let down for Nintendo to not make the Wii Sports Resort courses in MK8’s Booster Course Pack especially when they already remade Wuhu Loop (or whatever the battle course’s name is) with the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe…speaking of which I’m still disappointed that Nintendo didn’t make a special wave 7 just for battle courses. BEAUTIFUL content. As someone who is fresh to the channel and never played Mario kart tour, I sure hope you make a part two ranking courses only remade in tour as in my brain it's equivalent to arcade and such
I think that N64 Wario Stadium could work as a sectional track, akin to N64 Rainbow Road. It would let you play through the entire track while also not forcing you to spend five minutes racing there
Hot take: vanilla lake 2 is one of the best snes tracks, it started out kinda bad but as time goes on it’s getting better, when they remake it officially in tour.
I would absolutely love to see Mushroom City and Toad's Factory return, those tracks are amazing and absolutely deserve to be remade ASAP Side note, there is actually 1 notable thing about Figure 8 Circuit! If you pay close attention to the textures and background elements, the track is vaguely themed around Mario Bros 3! (The side of the bridge and the background). Not to the same extent as Desert Hills, but y'know, for figure 8 circuit it is at least something lmao
I love the background of broken pier (every super circuit background is heat tbh) and it’s just such a weird level with the rickety bridge shortcuts that I’m marginally charmed by it
Toads factory not being remade in 7 made sense, there were so many good tracks to pick. It not being picked in 8 made less sense but there were still other tracks. Then the booster course pass just brought back all the 7 retros
i was DEVASTATED that wuhu loop and maka wuhu didn’t make it into the mk8 booster course pass 😭 genuinely my fav tracks from mk7 and some of my fav tracks from the series. if nintendo doesn’t remake these courses mr miyamoto is getting a direct collect call from me 😤
As a Broken Pier fan, the rant against it made me laugh. It's understandable how one can forget it as the name itself is rather basic for a track. As for the Boos, the ones at Broken Pier didn't use candles because they actually tried to steal your coins if you drove under them, while the ones at Boo Lake simply sought to light the way.
I think it really just depends on how well Nintendo can actually remake these maps. We've seen the disappointment that is MK8 Shroom Ridge and Coconut Mall. Then on the other hand we've seen MK8 Bowser's Castle 3 which has probably my favorite remixed song and also being one of the coolest map remakes of them all
2:15 gonna be honest they all look the same. Yo there was this toads factory mod that had more routes like an inside the factory route like deep inside which was nice. Also wait no gpdx tracks?… if we get some of them in the next game then we’re definitely getting pac man back as a racer. What I’m most afraid of is… people using time trials and making the courses less fun with a certain set path.
It irks me that despite Tour having literally tour themed around Miis they didn't bring these two 3DS tracks back. Also weird that Tour didn't have (as per "tradition") GBA Rainbow Road, but I guess they made a curveball and jumped straight to Wii and 3DS (oh and remix courses too).
I want MK9 to go SSBU and bring back all the characters and tracks from previous games. they've shown they can sell these games for two full generations, so just go wild with it. EVERYONE IS HERE.
I like this ranking! And while I personally will always root for Double Dash's rainbow road to make a comeback (especially if newer mario karts keep the 200cc mode), I absolutely think DS is the most likely next candidate, it clearly deserves it haha

Or maybe this current tour just reminded me how good lakeside park is and how its a shame riverside park gets the spotlight over it a lot.
It would let you play through the entire track while also not forcing you to spend five minutes racing there
I forget that Mario Circuit Wii was only remade in the Olympics spinoffs, because I count it as remade.
I love the square segments in SNES Bowser Castle 2, I always have.
Hot take: vanilla lake 2 is one of the best snes tracks, it started out kinda bad but as time goes on it’s getting better, when they remake it officially in tour.
I would absolutely love to see Mushroom City and Toad's Factory return, those tracks are amazing and absolutely deserve to be remade ASAP
Side note, there is actually 1 notable thing about Figure 8 Circuit!
If you pay close attention to the textures and background elements, the track is vaguely themed around Mario Bros 3! (The side of the bridge and the background). Not to the same extent as Desert Hills, but y'know, for figure 8 circuit it is at least something lmao
Oh shit actual detailled names for the tiers instead of meaningless letters!! Love it when people do that yaaaay!
Also I love warto coliseum!!
Considering that we will likely get DLC for the next Mario Kart game that comes out, I think we can expect a lot of these tracks will be remade
I'm glad someone finally mentioned Figureightio, one of my favorite obscure Mario characters.
I love the background of broken pier (every super circuit background is heat tbh) and it’s just such a weird level with the rickety bridge shortcuts that I’m marginally charmed by it
Why wasn’t figure 8 the Mario Kart 8 starter track it just makes so much sense
Toads factory not being remade in 7 made sense, there were so many good tracks to pick. It not being picked in 8 made less sense but there were still other tracks. Then the booster course pass just brought back all the 7 retros
There’s also Piranha Plant Pipeline as the only Tour Original Track that didn’t make it to the Booster Course Pass.
1:26 I've been looking for this video forever, can you point me in the direction of the guy saying 21?
i just looked up “thank got it don’t got red 21” on yt
i was DEVASTATED that wuhu loop and maka wuhu didn’t make it into the mk8 booster course pass 😭 genuinely my fav tracks from mk7 and some of my fav tracks from the series. if nintendo doesn’t remake these courses mr miyamoto is getting a direct collect call from me 😤
I didn’t know that SNES Ghost Valley 3 even existed until this video
As a Broken Pier fan, the rant against it made me laugh. It's understandable how one can forget it as the name itself is rather basic for a track. As for the Boos, the ones at Broken Pier didn't use candles because they actually tried to steal your coins if you drove under them, while the ones at Boo Lake simply sought to light the way.
I think DS Rainbow Road would’ve been perfect for Mario Kart 8 because it had the antigravity feature that 8’s gimmick is almost solely based off of.
Hot take: to remake Luigi Circuit with different period arrangements of Monza (which is its real life reference) will be interesting
To make figure 8 better, have the cross section be on the same level so players and items have to cross eachother going full speed
And while I personally will always root for Double Dash's rainbow road to make a comeback (especially if newer mario karts keep the 200cc mode), I absolutely think DS is the most likely next candidate, it clearly deserves it haha
all the wuhu tracks give me such a boost of serotonin you have no idea
Was gonna give this a like but i noticed you never covered the MK8 version of the Super Circuit remake of the beloved Arcade GP track Gwimbly Falls and yet you accuse US of overthinking? i have never been more disappointed in my life
good video
DAMMIT I FORGOT GWIMBLY FALLS
I am actually so incredibly happy we didn't see woohoo island butured with the new dlc pack...
I could see those dead ends in bowser castle 1 and 2 being used to place double itemboxes. Sacrefise a bit of speed to get a double item if you are all the way in the back
i want Gamecube wario colosseum to be remade, it would be so good with anti gravity and they can go way more crazy with the track now
The end of Maka Wuhu ran so the end of Mount Wario coming down that slope could walk
Toad's Factory man, that's the good stuff
I would love to see some Mario Kart Arcade tracks get remastered in the next game.
I'm manifesting both wuhu island tracks AND a third, brand new night version on the second island from Wii sports resort for Mario kart X
Bro's editing is insane??? Instant sub from me king keep it up ❤
They really did sunset wilds dirty in mk8dx
