Nintendo considers Mario kart tour to be Mario Kart 9. They consider it mainline. They added most of the tour tracks in the booster course pass.

if you just give everyone a lakitu item that teleports to the spot they were ~10 seconds ago i think it would work great

This is like a childhood dream come true. When I was playing Minecraft on an Ipod Touch, I made my own Mario Kart courses, and to see this be made makes me happy. I hope more gets added (such as Lakitu), but as is, I love it!

One thing you should add is some system to set checkpoints at certain points on the track and some way to determine when a player has fallen off the track and respawn them at the most recent checkpoint they passed.
Yeah, that was definitely missing.
And if that's "too much work", there could be a reset button that teleports a player to within the bounds of the track.

@@alan-tairov He can still change the apparence of the items. I personally don't mind having a Mushroom that doesn't look like a Mario Mushroom as long as the way it works is identical.
You put a lot of item boxes after or before the dash panels so that you can get both but I think that in mario cart they are next to eachother so you have to choose one or another.

This music SLAPS, and the way you timed the specific segments of music to change at certain parts of tracks, like when they're underwater, underground or on the last lap, is so authentic i love it! This video ligitimately made me so hyped for the next mk game, if we could make our own tracks that would be so insane
You didn't even need the launch gel for the places where you used the Create Fans. Supply them with rotational power (like, say, from a creative motor) and they blow air out of them!
Also, I think an advisable change would be to make the items and objects more blocky and cuboid in shape. You know, to make it more in line with Minecraft's artstyle.
I'm not sure if the air from the create fans would affect the karts.

you need the star power-up that maintains boost for 8 seconds and negates damage to you and if you touch a player it does knockback spinning out the player

should've filled inventory with an invisible item (say gray glass pane) and made the items only stack to 1 (other than bananas and shells) so you could only hold 2 types of items at once like in the real game

I honestly think since you added Mushrooms anyway that you should've made the shortcut at 19:47 a Shroom-only one. As a reward for keeping your Mushroom in your inventory the whole time without using/losing it, rather than using the boost panels there.

I love your videos but I really hope you realise that you’re the annoying one when you DM random people begging for help, not the people who refuse to help you because of it. Like, code tutoring is something people pay hundreds for, and you’re complaining that someone would rather play Rocket League than help you for free. One of the DMs mentioned the Fabric Discord, which suggests you joined that server, which has help channels, and instead of using the dedicated help channels, went out of your way to just DM random people for help. Not only that, but you DMd them across multiple days, refusing the get the hint that maybe they don’t wanna help and are in no way obligated to. Not only that, but you then mocked them in this video, which is undoubtably gonna result in all these people getting harassed by viewers... to be clear, I am not one of the people in this video, but I am a developer who has recieved plenty of spam DMs from people like you and I just want to make it clear how annoying it is
Edit: I DM'd the developers included in the video to let them know. One of them mentioned that they referred Biggy to the help channels before the screenshots included in the video. Another mentioned that they actually did help Biggy, for free, for an hour, but they ended up doing all the work for Biggy so they refused to provide any further help...
Edit 2: He’s removed that part of the video now. He has also apologized to at least one of the developers I contacted, so it seems to be settled now. Please don't harass Biggy about this- as long as he realises his mistake now.

If you ever continue to remake Mario Kart into Minecraft, make sure to make a system to put racers back in the track if they fall off, like what happened with Chuck several times he fell off them. It's for the sake of their sanity, so it should be priority as part of the list of other things from Mario Kart to add into Minecraft.

With "Create" you can use the fans with a "Creative motor" underneath spinning at 250 RPM, and it will push anything up, down, left, right.
I love this video! A really cool mod, and you did it so well! I think you should do a part 2 and you can add some more items, vehicles, characters(?) and tracks (and Lakitu for Chuck's sake)

I have seen many recreations of Mario cart in Minecraft.But probably this is the best one i've seen
I love the fact that froggy is always winning and then slips up and biggy wins
So a fun fact about the mod you used for cars the premade cars have different engines that go up in tiers (iron, gold, diamond), and the higher the tier the faster the car... so some people had an actual advantage
Fun fact, in the Mario mash up pack on switch and WiiU, the end crystals are item boxes from Mario kart
You could use Pehkui mod for the lightning shrinking in the future, would make it super easy to implement
I'm a bit disappointed the Mario Kart mod itself wasn't released, or the two dope ass maps that you made
