This music SLAPS, and the way you timed the specific segments of music to change at certain parts of tracks, like when they're underwater, underground or on the last lap, is so authentic i love it! This video ligitimately made me so hyped for the next mk game, if we could make our own tracks that would be so insane

One thing you should add is some system to set checkpoints at certain points on the track and some way to determine when a player has fallen off the track and respawn them at the most recent checkpoint they passed.
Yeah, that was definitely missing.
And if that's "too much work", there could be a reset button that teleports a player to within the bounds of the track.

This is like a childhood dream come true. When I was playing Minecraft on an Ipod Touch, I made my own Mario Kart courses, and to see this be made makes me happy. I hope more gets added (such as Lakitu), but as is, I love it!

Nintendo considers Mario kart tour to be Mario Kart 9. They consider it mainline. They added most of the tour tracks in the booster course pass.

This is the first of your videos I've seen. Amazing job on adding the items and the video itself

Just some feedback to improve this even further
1: Add Red & Blue Shells.
2: Add Fake Item Boxes. You get them from a real item box but are deceptive and spin you out.
3: Maybe add a system to put you back on the track if you go in water where you aren't supposed to be?
4: Restrict items depending on what place you're in. 1st place doesn't need Lightning.
5: Makes shells destroy bananas when they collide.
6: Minimap of the track on the UI?
7: Consider grouping the tracks as a cup.
If you started a server for these Mario Kart races, i would play it.
Almost forgot
8: Battle Mode.

You didn't even need the launch gel for the places where you used the Create Fans. Supply them with rotational power (like, say, from a creative motor) and they blow air out of them!
Also, I think an advisable change would be to make the items and objects more blocky and cuboid in shape. You know, to make it more in line with Minecraft's artstyle.
I'm not sure if the air from the create fans would affect the karts.

its strange I got this mod a little while ago but most of the features like using the launch slime and drifting doesn't work for me at all and I've also seen others having the same exact problem too, still love this video seeing the mechanics actually working
- Needs laki
- Needs track fixes
- Needs some bug fixes here and there
- Needs an item system based on position and distance, primarily position but that could be too stong to just sack in close 4th to make an easy win so no one would want to be first until the end, and no one would drive or play the game
- Could use more items, if you have laki in you'll need predetermined return points on the track so you could have the bill then follow those points to function
- Could use some more "dlc" tracks of course, the more tracks the better
- Carts could use some fixes if the mods allow
- There are some slight changes I'd make given I know more about the Create mod as I've used it, however that can be said about others who know even more than a casual user does, or you could even just learn more about it yourself because it's extremely fun to play around with and I can NOT recommend the Create mod more, example, fans can be turned to provide lift which means you might not need bounce gel (although it works well as is) but they also make their own particles so you don't need a ton of campfires going, which can be laggy on lower end computers, although they can always disable particles anyway
- Track tweaks, I know I said track fixes but some need rebalanced or changed up so that they work better with the carts and don't look as buggy, that mostly applies to tracks you didn't make yourself because those look pretty good as is except for ramps being buggy looking which is a mod thing
All in all this looks extremely fun to play and a great mod, it needs a good bit more polish, a bit more content because there's untapped opportunities here, and above all else it needs mandatory gameplay features like laki
Just uhhh, don't let daddy Nintendo find out since they're so protective of their IPs 👀

The fact you switched the music when they went inside during the desert course is a nice attention to detail I really appreciate, subscribed! also great video too!
Btw if you ever make a follow up to this video, I have a few ideas of things you should add:
1. Lakitu: they’d help so much for when people fall of the course or if they get stuck, you could have it be automatic, or have it be a system where you have to press a button to call him to help
2. Rainbow Road (idk I just really love Rainbow Road)
3. Red shells: they’d be really cool to see, and you’d only have to code them since you already have a shell model.
4. Blue shells: the most infamous Mario Kart item of all time, it’d make it really funny
5. Item balancing: in Mario Kart you can only get certain items in certain placements, or when you’re a certain distance away from 1st place, it’d be cool to see that added
6. The Star: adds for some more fun chaos, it’d be really funny to see everyone try to avoid people with the star power out of fear
7. Triple items: stuff like the triple banana and triple shell would be cool, especially since it’d also tie into my next idea:
8. Holding items for defense: in Mario Kart, you can hold certain items behind you to act as defense against incoming items, and this would add some new strategy to the game!
Those are all the ideas I could come up with right now, although I’m sure there’s a bunch more you could do in addition to those!

When the video title looks click-baity, but it actually isn't. Amazing stuff. Super cool to see how much you hand-crafted, while also getting the most out of community content - great balance.
I love your videos but I really hope you realise that you’re the annoying one when you DM random people begging for help, not the people who refuse to help you because of it. Like, code tutoring is something people pay hundreds for, and you’re complaining that someone would rather play Rocket League than help you for free. One of the DMs mentioned the Fabric Discord, which suggests you joined that server, which has help channels, and instead of using the dedicated help channels, went out of your way to just DM random people for help. Not only that, but you DMd them across multiple days, refusing the get the hint that maybe they don’t wanna help and are in no way obligated to. Not only that, but you then mocked them in this video, which is undoubtably gonna result in all these people getting harassed by viewers... to be clear, I am not one of the people in this video, but I am a developer who has recieved plenty of spam DMs from people like you and I just want to make it clear how annoying it is
Edit: I DM'd the developers included in the video to let them know. One of them mentioned that they referred Biggy to the help channels before the screenshots included in the video. Another mentioned that they actually did help Biggy, for free, for an hour, but they ended up doing all the work for Biggy so they refused to provide any further help...
Edit 2: He’s removed that part of the video now. He has also apologized to at least one of the developers I contacted, so it seems to be settled now. Please don't harass Biggy about this- as long as he realises his mistake now.
