You can actually respawn on dragon palace by getting stuck on one of the railing on the upper level. Me and a friend did it before it was pretty surprising haha

I think the way the shock glitch works if you hit the wall fast enough is a known glitch in doom (1993). Basically, the game checks if your position next frame intersects anything and if it does, you don’t move. When you’re smaller and going fast enough, there is a gap between your current position and your next one. If the wall falls in this gap, you end up on the other side. Check out decino for a better explanation if you care
Correction. Mario Kart 64 doesn't just black out without an animation. It always shows Lakitu actually picking you up. IIRC, even when you fall off Rainbow Road.
I’m don’t know Mario kart as well as most in the community but would getting a perfectly timed shock cancel the boost after the feather? If so then the drift wouldn’t be necessary meaning it’s more repeatable. Idk just thought I’d throw it out there
Rather than trying to aim the right direction while landing inside the donut, could the boost have been canceled by being hit by lightning or a blue shell before landing?
I know this comment has nothing to do with the context of this video, but I have a challenge/question. Could you try wall crossing on a city track and hopefully go through the arrow fields?

When you have any type of boost in races or battles and get shocked when you have the shock you lose the rest of the boost.
I hope there isn't anything proving that someone else did it before you, 'cause you deserve it!
