Brilliant isn't it. I can honestly say it scared the living daylights out of me. I thought it was just going to give me information about the artefacts that were around the uniform. Jane 😊
I am with Jane on cupboards. I cannot abide a cupboard that is difficult to use. I simply don’t have the patience for it and feel compelled to sort it out. Meanwhile Carol serenely unpacks a jigsaw of items telling me I just need patience 😁👍. Some great laughs in this one. That museum looked ace 👍
Hi Jane and Stew, sometimes museums with just exhibits can be a bit samey. But the soldiers coming to life was fantastic. Nice to see the thought you have for Stew when you go shopping, the twix and a wee treat. Then when you're slim and lovely and he's chubby and lovely you can go, na na na.🎉🎉🎉. Great banter keep it up.
Yep Jane loves all museums I need an Exec summary museum 😂 but the technology made that element really useful I will let Jane respond to me overdosing on snacks lol 😂 great way to go Thanks for watching
That animated exhibited was pretty impressive. Encouraging to see how easy it is to find great park ups and how accommodating the local authorities and residents are. We really could learn from them but I doubt we will. The park up looked lovely…shame about the rain 😉
Unfortunately I fear you are right as instead of seeing an opportunity to help local businesses the local councils drive us away Yeah the technology was great although the rest of the museum was so so Thanks for watching
That was amazing how they came alive. Brilliant editing & narrative top marks. So looking forward to your adventures to come. Bit off a catch up on your blogs. Thanks for your channel as it’s the only way I will get to see these countries, the interesting places you visit. Cheers Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨👋🏻💜🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it i have to say it was impressive use of technology although I didn’t like most of the museum as I prefer a joined up story Thanks for watching
Wow! Those uniforms coming to life! Can you imagine the councils in the UK encouraging people to overnight!!!!? Leon's always having a senior moment too! ("Did I lock the van?")🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing Ju 😁
I didn’t like the museum apart from that but I can see it making history and museums more interesting Unfortunately I have a senior moment each time I walk away lol
Love the argument about the storage cupboard, happy days 😀. We have the same Outwell Feast pan set, the pans are great, I've put pan protectors between each pan, stops any rattling. The pan set in the bag, sits nicely on top of our large Ridge Monkey, just like yours, in a cupboard with loads of other stuff, all of which is needed, and gets pulled out to access the pans etc 🤣 Love the museum, amazing special effects.😀❤️🚐
Thank you both for the video lovely areas great comments they are setting aside parking for vans in Tenby and other areas of Pembroke as a trial . I hope it works out it will bring in the tourists, although it’s generally packed out in the summer well done good luck 👍👍👍🏴🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦🦢
You are so right Stu, our local councils could learn such alot when it comes to park-ups from the Europeans. But we would certainly need to respect these places. Another very enjoyable Sunday evening watch. Jane, you did make me laugh 😂 Best wishes, Si. 👍 🐸
Thanks for watching and above all commenting - respect is key but I feel it can’t be one or two sites as they get swamped it needs to be more country wide
The technology bringing those dead soldiers to life was amazing, so good to see tech being used in such a positive educational way. Diet starts tomorrow, coincidence that, so does ours😂
Try toasting your old baguettes cut in half longways on the ridgemonkey. I use the bagel setting on my toaster at home (in France) and it works perfectly;
Looking forward to seeing what you thought of saint Valerie Sur Somme next time. We enjoyed it there and found a nice restaurant on the north bank called the Canoterie. Great seafood platter 😀
We have a drawer just like that in Merlin ( or rather Graham says I have a drawer like that!) it’s a nightmare. Clever how they did the uniform effects. Somme area looked lovely. Saved by the rain! Councils do need to do something about parking in the UK. Did Jane eat a Twix?
That was such a lovely park up at the start and so interesting about the men from Blackburn and the different road names in each place. Another nice park up, really lovely. You two do make me laugh lol. Canal paths can go up hill I think otherwise you wouldn't have locks. Or am I wrong, I don't know 😂 That's like the weather in Kiddy today lol. Yep, the UK needs to learn, although the ones like Skipton, Settle and Ingleton are only a fiver, as is Boroughbridge which is great. Hate food shopping, especially having the old coeliac disease. How I wish I could eat a crusty baguette or a twix lol.
Yes sone interesting connections to the UK Jane found Don’t tell Jane about walking uphill at a canal as I won’t live it down 😂 Uk is missing a trip and if all towns had on the edge a car park are with small fee 48 hr max stay etc local businesses would benefit from an income on spend but we are a lost voice I fear
Thanks for watching 😊 we weren't aware of that ! Thank you so much - I'm googling it as I type just about. That would save us many trips back to the van - Jane 😊
@@getawaygeese We were told about it when we first collected Dingus from Autocampers. It's the FordPass Pro app. It also lets you know if the alarm is triggered (happened to me yesterday as I was in the supermarket... I rushed out.....not sure what triggered the alarm though!), where the van is, the fuel and adblue level.
@@getawaygeese There was a lot to take in during the handover! 🙂 The app also acts as a tracker but unfortunately it’s not accepted by insurance companies.
@miettemeg568 just tried this morning on the FordPass app at first I tried FordPass pro but it says I didn’t have a modem - so tried the FordPass app and connects but I can see where it is on a map that is useful but says it can’t connect so can’t get to features like is it locked etc - one for the garage I guess
its very apt that in an area where so many young men died fighting for freedom that the council promote freedom at their park ups more councils need to realise that by encouraging people to visit you promote your town and the local economy benefits ❤
The train zipping thru that plaza is a TER, a regular intercity train, it goes at a maximum cruising speed of 100mph for most. That's half the speed of the French high speed train, the TGV. It would be funny if you see a TGV running at full speed thru a residential area. 🚆
Interesting thanks - there was hardly a delay on the barrier so you definitely don’t want to be risking crossing it That’s a fast service Thanks for watching
WOW, the soldiers that came to "life" .... what a powerful exhibit.
Yes although I didn’t like the museum overall this part was really good and I can see more doing this
Brilliant isn't it. I can honestly say it scared the living daylights out of me. I thought it was just going to give me information about the artefacts that were around the uniform. Jane 😊

I think Carol and I are similar temperaments - thanks for watching guys

Yeah the technology was great although the rest of the museum was so so

We loved the museum in particular the soldiers coming to life, as you can imagine it has been noted for a future trip 😀.
Yep I personally didn’t like the museum apart from that technology that really brought it to life - thanks for watching

The live part of the museum looked awesome. Saved by the rain sounds good to me. Once again a great Vlog. Take care Gill
Yes the technology was great but I didn’t like the museum as to many artefacts and lacked a cohesive story
Thank you as ever for watching
Just loving the playful banter between you two. Think I'd have been scared too Jane when them uniforms came to life!. Enjoying your journey.😊🐕🚙
Thanks for watching
I loved the fact Jane looked to the right as if it was real
Wow! Those uniforms coming to life!

They have been great pans I must say and although a bit battered they have lasted a good 5 years of trips
Thanks for watching
Great video guys.
Loving Harry 😍
Thankyou for watching and taking time to comment

Glad you enjoyed the episode - good on Tenby it just needs every town to do it then less pressure but the UK is a bit backward at coming forward
You are so right Stu, our local councils could learn such alot when it comes to park-ups from the Europeans. But we would certainly need to respect these places.

Goodness! What a brilliant use of AR! A brilliant way to bring a museum to life.
Baguette World sounds great, I'd visit that theme park 😂
Yea I personally struggled with the museum but that element was a great use of technology
Thanks for watching

Diet always starts tomorrow in France 😂 - yep I didn’t like the museum but this ingenious approach made us step up and admire
We've been to Pissy 😂.
Loving the friendly bickering, 😂.
Thanks for watching guys

Oh no you now have lifted the bar to a toasted baguette- can’t wait now to try 😂 great tip thanks
Haha interesting chat about the “snacks” the question is, did Jane keep succumb to a twix? 😊 Great video, Em & G 💜
Thanks for watching and I don’t think she did
Looking forward to seeing what you thought of saint Valerie Sur Somme next time. We enjoyed it there and found a nice restaurant on the north bank called the Canoterie. Great seafood platter 😀
Thanks for watching …. All will be revealed

Thanks for watching ….the museum affect we felt was good and unique ….. I just wish councils would see the advantage

I am certainly enjoying all your adventures, including the scary dead soldiers coming to life....and all the laughs you always share..Lol
Well this post makes me smile as we try to inform and entertain - thank you for watching
Super U is definitely NOT the cheapest place to shop, especially in the country. And 0% on a dairy product means no fat.
Ah thank you which supermarket would you go to as we sort of tried various ones ….. we got there eventually with the milk
Thanks for watching
Great video as always. Are you aware that you can use the Ford app on your phone to check if Harry is locked?
Thanks for watching 😊 we weren't aware of that ! Thank you so much - I'm googling it as I type just about. That would save us many trips back to the van - Jane 😊

I've just downloaded it so we'll check it out tomorrow and report back. I wonder if Steve told us and we'd had information overload and forgotten 🤦♀️
