Bonjour 🤔 Don't worry Jane, at least your trying. What a lovely park up, you both looked well relaxed in Harry there, and plenty of wild life, and COWS 🐄🐄🐄 🤣🤣 Great 👍 🐸
Yea you have to watch cattle as can be dangerous - I had the vision of me scaring it and his horn giving Harry a live rap Thanks for watching and commenting
Plant identification apps are brilliant. I use Candide. What fabulous bird life. I always think herons are a sign that the waterway is healthy. Cows are brilliant! Poor things to be so bothered by the hornets 😞🐝
Jane uses hers all the time - slows down the walk massively 😂 It was a great place I must say and the wildlife was right in your doorstep well van step Thanks for watching
Really loving your filming and the story-telling.. Some stunning shots. You also had us laughing out loud at the cows! Well done to you both. And thank you. Such an enjoyment to watch.
Thank you - we are pleased you are enjoying them. I have to say Ive just watched it back and the cow bit still has me laughing. Not sure what was going through Stews head 😂😂 jane
Bonjour😆 Nice views with the drone and a very nice place to relax. I'd have been hiding in the van too as anything over 22 degrees and I'm dying lol. Bet you woke with a jump again with the cows outside 😂 Poor cows getting stung by the hornets. Had a hornet in my campervan at Severn Valley Country Park last year. Scared the 💩 out of me!!
Hi Jane and Stew. I'd like to agree with @julierogers, you are a good narrator, Jane. Oh, btw, Bonjour as you know simply means 'hello', but bonne journée (which I think you mentioned) means 'have a good day'. Hope this helps.
Thank you for commenting 😊 I do feel I'm getting better at it but still cringe abit so it's nice when I read comments like yours and @julierogers. I think you are right and think that's what I must of been hearing "bon journée". I'd like to say I got better as the trip went on but I got worse as you'll see in a future episode. Next time we head back i will be better prepared 👍 jane
Beauuuuuuuutiful park up. Doing nothing in a lovely place is literally our favorite thing lol. Some fab wildlife too. Not massive fans of cows ourselves to be honest. They can be a bit intimidating. Take care x
@@getawaygeese the hornets were very impressive. I’m no expert but from what I’ve read the invasive Asian hornets are black with an orange bum. Yours looked like European hornets thankfully. But as I say I’m no expert x
Stew, that made me laugh out loud! Cattle wrangling obviously not on your extensive résumé 😂. Interesting to see how you got on in the heat, top tips with the shade and fan. Does Harry have air conditioning? Guessing it would only work while the engine is running. Is there an optimum time you could realistically spend on the road in very hot weather?
Thanks - cow talk was not on my college course 😂. Yep air con only when the engine is running and impractical to install as would use so much battery power Re travelling - I don’t know to be honest I am guessing in the 30’s driving is hot but with air con doable but then parking up you need doors open and a breeze ideally so I could see day after day it would be uncomfortable. Fridge would I am sure struggle
Hi Guys, Random question alert! We’re new to your channel so apologise if you’ve already answered this in an earlier vid. We too have an auto camper MRV called Vic 😊 (less than a year in for us). In this video I noticed a collection of hooks hung above the side passenger door - super useful; are they magnetic? There seems to be loads on Amazon but I’d be really interested in your recommendation if you have a link? Also, while I’m being inspired by your experience….. what is that cooking thingy that the chicken was cooked in? Looked like some sort of folding trivet?? Love your videos, I’m the Camper van keener in our house and your tips are helping me to convince the other half to be more daring 😂
Ok so magnets with the hooks are quite strong so we have loads - I can’t put the link here as YT deletes the comment so I’m Amazon search the following Ant Mag Magnetic Hooks Heavy Duty 6 Pack for Hanging 36KG (80LBS) Neodymium Magnet Hooks Used for Home Kitchen Office Workplace The pan is really useful I find as also a bit of a semi oven and retains all the fat from cooking splashing It’s called a ridge monkey they do them now in various sizes
@@getawaygeese thank you, thats really useful info, shame we can’t earn you a bit of commission on these, but we are about to buy cab curtains via your link. 😊
Wow you both look hot, oi I didn't mean like that 😊 What a lovely park up. Regional accents lol how do. You could have helped yourself to fresh milk. Scouting out your French holiday home there then.
What fun... Stew doing king fu in Harry. Gave us a right chuckle! 😂🐕🚙
I’ll have you know as a certified cowboy that hat was my best ‘move on’ sound 😂
Thanks for watching

Jane, YOU are such a GOOD NARRATOR! Always enjoy your clear voice.
Oh thank you 😊 hopefully Im getting better as i go along. Jane 😊
I agree way better than a Dudley accent lol - Stew
@@getawaygeese Haha.
Beautiful flowers everywhere!!!! as well as the night visitors, Stew was very amusing at trying to get the cows moving.....😂😂
Thanks for watching and above all taking time to comment - one of those perfect stops and what we needed
Stu’s verbal assaults on the cows had me laughing out loud….woke up both my cats. They were not pleased.
Yes Jane was watching the video again this morning and I heard her laughing - and it was the same thing lol 😂 i seem to be the butt if her smiles 😂
Oh wow it’s so lovely to see the sun & those beautiful flowers 🌸 and the allotments. Beautiful drone footage 😎 Well done 👏 Em 💜
Thanks Em it was one of those couple of days that will stay in our memory for sure - thanks for watching

It's boutique.
Ah I thought it was Hyacinth Bucket but she was to posh to pronounce it that way …. I need to check now 😂

Thanks for watching - we’re both trying with the language - it was a beautiful dot and two days of simply just relaxing around the van 🚐
Well Stew they were funny noises - very funny 😂😂
Well as a professionally trained herdsman I thought they were well executed 😂
I have no idea what was going through his head 😂 Jane
😂
Great episode. That looked like such a tranquil park up until the hornets and cows arrived 😂❤
Thanks guys - we were living in harmony with hornets until the cows decided to shake the tree
fantastic video, with some nice shots of the wildlife, really like Harry's table. many thanks for sharing ATB
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching - we had a real great few days just relaxing
Love the wildlife shots and the walks, cows…not so much so. They scare me half to death 😂.
